Junior's Tournament (15)

While waiting for the battles to begin, Mu Yue and Xiao Yan went back to their group to discuss what they know of those in the top 10. Four of the top 10 were from their school, the two of them, Fei Hong and Li Jie.

"One qualifier is the guy I fought. He should not have a lower cultivation than me. His attacks were fast and heavy, and it looks like he can alter the trajectories of his attacks to a certain extent." Mu Yue explained.

Xiao Yan also mentioned someone, "One of the guys I fought is also there. He was a lightning Spell Cultivator. The speed of his single target spells were really fast, the trade off is that he cannot stack them. He also has 'Lightning Ray' spell, if you get hit with this, get out of the line of fire or you will receive a lot of damage."

Since Li Jie did not fight yesterday, he did not have any intel so only Fei Hong was the remaining guy to talk.

"All top 3 of the Body Cultivator Competition are in the top 10. Still, not one of us reached the 7th step yet so if you two are careful, you should be able to defeat them. Also, the guy I lost to focuses more on explosive movements. The other student is the third ranker and is a girl, but she acts fiercely more than the other men."

This was the last information they knew. Mu Yue and Xiao Yan were sure that they already mentioned those that they knew of so the ones that are unknown didn't fight yesterday. One guy is a sword cultivator that is the schoolmate of Mu Yue's last opponent while there was another female Spell Cultivator, schoolmate of the lightning Spell Cultivator that Xiao Yan fought.

These people indeed fought but they were not met by their classmates nor payed attention to. Now, they just hoped that they wont fight these people for the first part.

Then an announcement was heard by all the people in the site, "All students, please gather in the middle platform. You will pick a number in the box and your opponent will be the one who also picked the same number."

Mu Yue picked the number 2 and it was the number that Xiao Yan picked.

"We are meant to be, Mu Yue. Even fate wants us to be together." Xiao Yan teased.

"Thankfully, losing the first fight is not lethal as we still have the chance to fight for the top ranks." Mu Yue said and sighed in relief.

"Well, I'll forfeit in this fight. Although you are strong, I'm still stronger than you and will have a higher chance of winning loser's matchups." Xiao Yan explained and Mu Yue can only agree to it.

Li Jie's opponent was the guy who Mu Yue had a hard time defeating. Mu Yue mentioned that the guy should have a high cultivation so Li Jie decided to uncover his skills and weaknesses.

Fei Hong's opponent was the female Spell Cultivator that had unknown prowess. Well, considering that the girl wasn't chosen to be the representative of her school, this should mean that she was weaker than that lightning guy.

Fei Hong just had to make sure to defeat her before he gets defeated. He should have an advantage on this fight.

The first fight was the lightning Spell Cultivator versus the sword cultivator that had an unknown prowess. The guy was unknown to Mu Yue's group but luckily for him, one of his schoolmates watch his opponent's fight and explained how the guy fought. With this knowledge, he was able to formulate a plan and win the fight.

Mu Yue and Xiao Yan then went to the platform as theirs were the second battle. Xiao Yan quickly surrendered after the battle begin. It was a logical thing to do so most of the spectators weren't upset.

The third fight was Li Jie's. His opponent was careful to not reveal too much so he wasn't able to obtain any information. He did fight with his all to try to expose his opponent but was easily defeated.

The fourth battle was between the top 1 and 3 body cultivators. Since they already fought yesterday, the girl surrendered so that none of them will waste energy.

As for the fifth battle, Fei Hong went to the stage and observed his opponent.
