Ariel having no idea about what Eric is talking just shrugged and followed him to the evans conglomerate.

Xander and rachel are getting impatient while waiting for ariel. How dare she to make them wait when they are being generous to collaborate with her.

Eric already asked his assistant phillips to investigate into PINK modelling and production house.

Phillips is the friend of eric had beside charlie and his gang. Eric is a man of few words while phillips understood him without being spoken.

Phillips connections cannot be underestimated in the business world. Moreover his innocent and upright boss needs an witty assistant.

It took less than an hour to gather information about PINK. Eric actually went to his company for this documents.

When he looked at the documents he was irritated to the core. How dare this dumb woman to leave everything for this spineless man.

Phillips also felt xander doesn't worth of ariel's love and dedication. He felt pity on her teen age which she carelessly tossed out for a scumbag.

He knew his boss is pure person who is not yet tainted by this corrupted world. Hey may be innocent but his intelligent and iq cannot be underestimated.

While his intelligence can invent wonders in digital world his iq cannot be defeated easily but eq is no better than a school attending child.

His boss lacks warmth and love ever since he is a child. Even though Mr. Fernandes never failed to protect his one and only son, he failed to understand him.

Thinking all this phillips decided long back to stay with him to protect him from this tainted world and selfish people.

Ever since eric started staying in evans mansion, phillips noticed his boss's eq improving slightly. Today it seemed his boss is going to teach a lesson to that scum bag.

When they reached evans head branch located at the center of the city, xander is seen sitting on the chair inside a waiting room.

Evans conglomerate is known for their politeness and upholding righteousness is the industry, the staff treated them with respect.

Rachel imagined herself in the position of ariel and is more determined to snatch away her position like they did before.

Ariel after entering into her office room asked Eric to stay in another room so that she will finish a meeting with xander.

Eric narrowed his eyes "dumb woman are you chasing me out to meet that ugly person. As I said I am going to look after you for today."

Ariel shook her head "no, no handsome how will I dare to chase you out when I am going tolerate such a nonsense. I am only concerned about you."

She added the last part hoping an appreciation from him but being a dumb eric just nodded his head.

If his assistant had seen this, he could have face palmed himself looking at his boss. Eric settled himself on a place beside ariel.

Eric took the initiative and called the receptionist down asking to send xander and rachel upstairs.

Ariel is too lazy for conducting the meeting in am meeting room which the duo doesn't deserve at all.

Xander felt disappointed on ariel for not welcoming him personally.

Moreover she doesn't even meet him and asked a mere receptionist to escort him, xander the great.

Doesn't she want to work with him in the same project after all she is the one who suggested it in the first place.

Thinking all this they entered in to her room. The room is a modern furnished office cabin with a long table placed before a high end chair.

The room walls painted on light brown color and there are some random pots placed beside the French window with different plants growing in them.

There is also a book shelf filled with various magazines and books. Even after being a ceo to his current company, his office cabin is not at like ariel's.

There is an resting room attached at the corner of the room. Rachel looking at how luxurious ariel life became after she went missing in the past one and half year felt a burning jealousy creeping into her.

Rachel actually did a private investigation about her past in this one and half year but unfortunately she didn't find anything.

To her misfortune ariel came back with more powerful back up than before. His brother is a major general which can't be ignored easily.

All her thoughts were noticed by eric, even though he didn't understand her inner thoughts he clearly knew she is up to no good.

When xander opened his mouth he is surprised to see eric here. everyone in the digital industry knew about his inventions and him as a genius.

Xander quickly masked his surprise and greeted him warmly as if their previous acquaintances. Eric just nodded his head not even looking up from his tablet.

There are some issues with the internal storage of

a device they have launched recently which he is looking personally.

Xander just ignored him thinking about his zero gains in the industry eric is ruling with his iron fist.

Xander peeled his eyes off from him and greeter ariel. He was about to shake hands with her but stopped when eric commented

"ariel is allergic to certain things recently, she can't randomly touch anything."

Rachel responded warmly, "really ariel, when I knew about you I clearly remember you were never allergic to anything.

You could have wore gloves, even though xander don't mind, you may accidents offend others right..? "

Eric narrowed his eyes for Rachel's comment still not looking up re calmly replied "she was good till yesterday, in fact perfectly fine. It's only today she got allergic reaction."

As his eq cannot be appreciated his blunt words made xander and rach speechless. Xander never thought eric will defend her in this manner.

Even though he is boiling inside from anger he clearly knew this is not the time to pick a fight.

Xander just smiled like he used to smile at ariel when they were a couple and then said taking back his hand "ariel, you have to take care of yourself. Look at you thinner than last time we met.

You are running an empire now and also a well known actress, you can't your health like this."

Rachel also added "yes ariel, you are back into the industry, so you have to care about your figure. I know the best nutrition in the city.

I will personally introduce you when we meet in person next time."

Ariel is neither surprised not disgusted with their words after all she clearly witnessed their acting when she spend her days with them.

Ariel laughed saying "come on guys even though I am your friend, you can't speak casually like while we are going to have a business discussion.

Now coming to the appointment, tell me your purpose of visit, I will dou best in helping."

Ariel spoke with them as if they are here for her help. Rachel is not at all satisfied with her behavior.

So she said "what are you speaking ariel, ah my mistake I think you are still forgetting things like before. It's okay no problem xander will explain you."

Xander pretending to be scolding Rachel said "come on Rachel you cannot be blunt with your words. It's okay with forgetting things here and there.

Ariel we are here to discuss about the document agreement we were supposed to sign with Mr. Bentley as rachel lead actress."

He futher added "I have already spoke with Mr. bentley's assistant and got the appointment to meet you.

So when are we going to sign the contract so that you can start auditioning about others actress for the documentary."

Both of them are showing concern and love on ariel on the outer surface while implying that she even forgets things as important as this.

Ariel pretending like she is thinking said "aah, I don't remember anything like this except promising on catching upon the past years.

Let me think about this carefully, after this is about my own company" saying she stood up from her seat as if going out.

Xander confused asked her where is she going to which she replied she has to visit AEC for confirmation.

Xander replied "what's the need of visiting personally when you can call them directly. Come on ariel don't you know this simple thing."

He ridiculed her as if belittling a servant in his house. Rachel kept quite through out the interaction trying to catch eric's attention.

Eric not at all lifted his head thought out the meeting. Looking at her getting up from the seat he replied

"dumb cough, cough.. there is no need to visit, I was present there and I don't remember anything being promised you ariel.

Listening to their exchange of words xander felt humiliated by ariel. The woman who was beneath him is insulting her now.

Ariel wants to torture both of them so she asked them to wait for some more time while she discuss the same thing with Mr. bentley.

She asked her staff members to prepare refreshments and pretended calling mr. bentley.

Xander came put of her cabin and went into the waiting room. Rachel started adding fuel into the fire saying "xander she is simply playing with us.

Look at her attitude, the audacity to ask us wait while she enjoys our misfortune. Don't be softhearted towards her xander."

Even xander also felt same thing but remembering her docile attitude he said

"rachel keep quite for god sake, we are in her office now. Whatever you wish to speak keep it with yourself until we reach our office."

Xander felt more humiliated when he thought about eric's presence.The way Eric defended her seems suspicious to him while eric felt xander is a threat.

He said "dumb woman why are you not kicking him out saying you will not sign contract with him which will be easier."
