... He's really tall

Back at the entrance of the auditorium, there was another male student that had just approached the row of tables to mark his own attendance. The few students who had been lingering outside, as well as those who had been manning the attendance booths, could not help but stare at the tall, lean man with a noticeably cool demeanor who approached the table designated for the Business Management majors. The student behind the booth, a lanky male with square rimmed glasses could not help but stare at the imposing, yet modelesque figure that appeared in front of him. Was this man a freshman...? Impossible. The male looked too mature to be one. Yet, being their Department's Internal Affairs secretary, it was the first time he had seen the handsome individual. Who was he?

Zhao Huang, being oblivious to the stares only bent down a little to speak to the glasses guy calmly.

"Zhao Huang," a low, appealing voice is heard. Glasses guy only seem to stare blankly at him. Not getting a response, the tall man's eyebrows scrunched up in confusion. "Hello? Friend, my name is Zhao Huang. I'm a returning student. Can you please check the roster for me?"

"Ah? A-ah, yes...!" Startled out of his thoughts, glasses guy scrambled to find the male's name. It takes him a while to find it. "Zhao... Mr. Zhao Huang? Here... here it is. It says here that you've been in the university's online education program because of personal reasons? Wel... welcome back to S University. Please sign here and put your contact info as well."

Zhao Huang was a confused by the other student's flustered appearance. Was he that intimidating? It was granted that his former team mates were often scared of him but that was only due to his position as captain. However, Huang had not even spoken much to this student and yet he looks as if he was about to sweat profusely.

Actually, it was not Glasses Guy who was surnamed Wei's fault that he was naturally intimidated by good looking people. And this Zhao Huang was admittedly on the top ranks of the looks department.

Once Zhao Huang had finished filling up all the necessary information, he flashes the other student a smile before thanking him. As if hit with a pause button, Glasses Guy Wei just stared at Huang's retreating figure, unmoving.

Zhao Huang had made it into the auditorium without much hassle. Because of his late entrance, the seats were mostly filled up. Scanning the sea of students, Zhao Huang frowned a little. Because his occupation required long hours of computer usage, it was not a surprise that his eyesight was not in optimal condition anymore. However, he could only blame himself for arriving late. Deciding it was better to look for a vacant seat near the front instead of lingering at the back like a fool, Zhao Huang began to walk down the aisle in search of a seat. His tall figure immediately began to attract the attention of the other students which Zhao Huang paid no mind to. Well, it was more appropriate to say that he did not really notice it.

Meanwhile, Zhifeng who was playing on his phone heard Wenming hiss from beside him. "Man, I hate good looking guys stealing all the spotlight," he heard him enviously grumble. Zhifeng turned to look at Wenming with a questioning look. Wenming, as if remembering he was friends with another good looking guy, immediately backtracked. "I mean, not you, of course. We all know our Xiao Zhi is naturally likeable. I just meant that tall guy right there turning all those heads," Wenming said, gesturing to the tall male who has successfully found a vacant seat on the fourth row. Zhifeng turned to look at where his friend had pointed and saw the back of the tall male's head.

"... He's really tall," Zhifeng murmured, his eyebrows furrowing as he was once again reminded of his own average height.

"Freakish tall," Wenming suddenly added. "Damn, he makes all of us look like dwarves. It looks like the girls dig him, though," he then says, and it was then that Zhifeng noticed a few girls holding in their giggles as they cast glances at the tall male. Zhifeng's attention is again drawn to the tall male who coincidentally also turns his head back and meets Zhifeng's gaze. There was a brief look of surprise that appears on both of their faces before Zhifeng abruptly averted his gaze and looked down at his phone. Wenming, being the observant one, had seen the brief exchange and looked at his friend with a questioning look. Zhifeng refused to meet anyone's gaze and only toyed with his phone.

However, Zhifeng's thoughts had already strayed to his brief exchange with the tall male. Why... did he seem familiar? But for some reason, Zhifeng just could not remember where he had seen him before. Perhaps the male was some sort of model? That would easily explain his enviable height and good looks. Yes... maybe Zhifeng had just seen him in some magazine before.

Just then, a petite college student approaches the platform and announced the beginning of the program. Zhifeng decides that it was best not to linger too much in his thoughts and just pay attention to the opening ceremony.

On the other end, Zhao Huang had also turned back to look at the stage. He was not entirely sure but he also felt that he had seen the male he had exchanged brief glances with. But how can that be? He didn't really know many people from outside the E-Sports industry aside from his own family. So who was the familiar yet unfamiliar stranger?

The program begins with a male student joining the female student on stage as they made their introductions.

...

At the fourth row of the auditorium.

Once Zhao Huang had chosen a random seat, he ignored all the whispers and stares around him and chose to focus on his own phone. Having been the focus during eSports competitions for many years, he was used to them. Well, he was also used to taunts and jeers. At least this time they only seem to be curious about who he was. After all, he didn't look like the typical freshman. Fortunately, none of the students in this auditorium were disrespectful enough to actually approach him when the program was nearly beginning.

'There's so many handsome brothers this year,' Zhao Huang suddenly heard someone close to where he sat whisper.

Zhao Huang instinctively glanced behind him. And it was then that he caught sight of another male staring in his direction. Zhao Huang stared back, his surprise evident. The only thing that entered his mind was how handsome the other was. Then, a strange sense of familiarity. However, before Zhao Huang could ponder over the other's identity, the other male hd already broke off their little contact by looking down at his own phone. He could see that the other was a bit flustered, making the corner of Huang's lips to twitch up.

Cute, he thought.
