5:32 pm

(Ivan's POV)

I fumbled with my fingers as Qaid stared intently at my phone with a look that was mixed with surprise and disappointment. His lips trembled as he handed me my phone.

"There's nothing, I would have at least thought there would be a river, maybe some trees," Qaid said with a weak voice.

"There was a tree, but that was the entrance to the camp." I put my phone on the table. I stared at my other siblings in my cabin happily playing a game of Uno. There were a few other people a few feet away from them talking about random subjects. I looked back at Qaid. His gaze was focused on the blank, wooden surface of the table.

"We can use Solar Panels to produce electricity, the area is open and I doubt the clouds will block the sun a lot."

"I think the problem is that it's too open, what if people come across the panels and then the entrance to the camp."

"Someone I was with told me that Coach will take care of that problem." Qaid stared up from the table and into my eyes.

"Was that a lie?" I froze up as my lie of me having Pseudologia fantastica quickly came back to me.

"Why would I lie." I tried my best to keep myself from showing nervousness. My heartbeat against my chest as I waited for Qaid's response. Why didn't I think of a better excuse? Qaid stared at me with suspicious a look. "You can even ask Coach, one of my friends. I swear I'm not lying about this." Qaid had an unamused look.

"I'll ask Coach later then. Either way, we're going to have to build the generator, the panels, the wires. Then we would actually have to find some way to get electricity to travel throughout the camp. You think we can use some people who can use lighting or electricity to power a generator? That would be less work than setting up panels too."

"That could work, I think that would better. If we do go with the generator idea, where would we put it? Would we have to-" I stop talking and look down at the table. Qaid had a confused look on his face as we both look down at my buzzing phone.

"You get signal here?" I grab my phone and take a look at the screen. I smack my lip as the name 'Dominique' on top of the screen. I get up from my chair and look over at Qaid.

"Can you wait a bit?" I asked. Qaid quickly nodded his head. I nod back and turn around to quickly walk out of the cabin. I rush towards the side of the cabin and answer my phone.

"What do you want," I say with gritted teeth.

"Are you busy?" Dominique said with a hint of excitement in his voice.

"I'm really busy."

"Me and Jenny have this one bank we're going to rob, I was gonna ask if you wanna join." I could use the money to buy solar panels and other equipment.

"How much money does this bank have?"

"I don't know!" I roll my eyes while I think about hanging up.

"Do you at least have a plan?"

"I wouldn't be calling if I didn't." I let out a loud sigh.

"Sure, where should we meet?"

"Meet up at my gun shop." I hold the phone up to my face the second I hear the sound of a beep come from my phone. I smacked my lip as I saw that he already hung up. I put the phone back into my Inventory and walk back to my cabin. I open the door and walk over to Qaid. "Qaid, I have to go somewhere, but I'll try to get the solar panels today."

"We're going with the solar panels idea?"

"I just think it would be a better idea." Qaid had a troubled look on his face.

"Okay then." I nod and turn around. I quickly walk out of the cabin with annoyance building up in my chest.

This bank better have a lot of money.

5:49 pm

I look up at Dominique's tiny green shop. I giggled at the, 'Big Gun!', sign Dominique placed right above the door. I confidently look through the door. A tingly, heavy feeling in the shape of a tiny circle formed on my forehead as a red laser pointed at the space right above my eyes. I felt my heart race as I heard Dominique laugh at the laser was turned off. I glare at Dominique as his laugh got louder. Jenny was right at his side leaning on the counter, she had a blank look as she shook her head. She turned towards the counter, a loud zipping sound filled the room for a second before she lifted up a long black bag. Dominique had a similar bag wrapped around his torso. I walk towards them and point at the bag.

"What's in the bag?" I asked Dominique. Dominique reached for the zipper and unzipped the bag.

Dominique took out an M16 for me to see." I got an M16," he quickly put the gun back into the bag and pulled out a black, gun with round edges. "And a Beretta." I nod and walk over to the counter, climb up and sit down on top.

"Do I use my own guns?" I asked Dominique. Dominique reached behind the counter and pulled out the same kind of black bag that Jenny and Dominique have. Dominique tossed the bag over to me, I quickly open up the bag and take a look inside. To my disappointment, there was nothing inside.

"What guns did I give you again?" Dominique asked in an unsure voice.

"You gave me a shotgun and an M16."

"Do you have any other guns?" I take Tribute out of my Inventory and show off the white and gold-colored pistol to Dominique. "I have this but it needs magic to work." Dominique's eyes rolled up into his head as he thought of something.

"Use your shotgun," he spun on his heel and quickly walked over to the pistols hanged up on the walls. He took a dull, gray pistol off the wall. He turned around and looked in my direction. He put the gun on the counter and bent down under the counter. "You'll use the pistol and," He bent down and started to look for something under the counter. I use the wind to fling the gun into my hand. Dominique came up from under the counter and put three black boxes on the counter. I use the wind and bring all three boxes to my side. I pick one of the boxes up and look at the box.

The box had the words, 'Gold Dot,' in Rose-colored words. I guess this is the ammo for the pistol. I put the box in my Inventory and do the same to the other two boxes. Dominique shook his head and pointed towards my bag.

"We're robbing a bank up on the surface, we can't use our powers. Put your guns and ammo in the bag." I raise my eyebrows with suspicion as I take out the boxes that I just put into my Inventory into the bag.

"Why can't we use our powers?"

"Do you want normal people to know about Soul? It would be harder rob, or to do anything with the worry of someone defending themselves with whatever power they get." I nod as I put the pistol and my shotgun into the bag. I take out a few boxes of ammo for the shotgun into the bag. Dominique does have a point. Every person I've met that could use Soul has powers that could kill me easily, I wouldn't want normal people to learn how to use Soul. I zipped up my bag and got off the counter. I turned towards my bag and put my bag onto my shoulder. I turn around and stared at Dominique as he walked over to his bag and pulled out a bag of blueberries. He tossed the bag towards me, I easily caught it and sighed.

"Do you want me to change into my older self?"

"Why do you think I gave you those berries?" I glare at Dominique for a second before taking out one berry and put the bag into my Inventory.

"Do you have a bathroom?"

6:34 pm

I stared out the window as Dominique drove away from the McDonald's. I pinched my arm as my head was forced to tilt to the side from the roof of the car. I unbuckle my seat belt and lay down across the car seat. I sigh as I felt my head press up against the car door, my feet were pressed up against the car door. I bring my knees up to my chest. I could still feel my feet brush up against the car door. I let out a loud annoyed hum as Jenny turned around in the passenger's seat. She had a box of twenty chicken nuggets with barbeque sauce. She stretched out the box, I take the box out of her hands. I open up the box and open up the tiny container of sauce. I smile as I pick up a chicken nugget and dip the nugget into the sauce. I stare outside the window as I bite into the chicken nugget. I quickly swallow the nugget and pick up two more chicken nuggets and dip them into the sauce. I stuff the nuggets into my mouth as the car stopped. I watched in the corner of my eye as Jenny and Dominque picked up their bags. I quickly grab a fistful of chicken nuggets and stuff them in my mouth before picking up my bag. I opened up my bag and took out a mask that was in the shape of a pig. I put the sauce in the chicken nugget container and close the box.

Dominque took a big bite of his burger before we got out of the car. I put on the mask and take out my pistol. I tuck the pistol into my waistband and wrap the strap of the bag over my shoulder. I calmly get out of the car and look towards the bank. Jenny and Dominique quickly speed-walked toward the entrance of the bank. I take out my shotgun from out the bag and follow after them.

Dominique held his M16 in one with his gun pointed up into the air. Dominique reached into his waistband and aimed his pistol at the door. He fired two bullets into the glass door. The glass door shattered into tiny shards of glass. Dominique walked through the now broken glass door, Jenny quickly followed after him. I slightly crouch down and walk through the door.

The bank was small, the lobby only had three people kneeling down on the carpet floor. There was a small, terrified woman standing behind the counter. Jenny aimed her gun at an old, fragile man kneeling on the left side of the room. My eyes flickered around the potted plants on the edges of the room to the two well-built muscular men on my right. Dominque hopped over the counter and tucked his pistol into his waistband. He grabbed the small women's shirt and yanked her away from the counter.

"Evan let's go!" Dominique shouted as he guided the women to a door on the left of the counter. I turn away from the men and make my way towards Dominique. I felt something wet drip down my ear as a loud, deafening ring echoed throughout my head. I heard a high muffled scream come Jenny's side. I quickly turn around towards the two well-built men. I felt my heart stop for just a moment when I came face to face with a man wearing a black suit with a red tie pointing a small, black pistol. Everything felt slow as my finger tightened around the shotgun's trigger. The man's head flew back as red mist hovered over the man's body. The man's thick, crimson-colored blood splattered all over the floor. The man's thick red blood flew onto my face. The scent of metal lingered in the air. My eyes widened as I saw pieces of the man's face hang off the side of his cheek. The way his skin hanged off his face reminded me of how the skin of a banana would look if someone decided to peel the skin and leave it hanging. I felt my stomach churn from looking at pieces of bloody pieces of flesh slide down the skin hanging off the head and down onto the floor.

The man beside him had his eyes wide open. His lips trembled as he looked down at his blood-stained suit. I heard could hear Jenny's muffled groans of pain through the loud, deaf ring in my eyes. I look in the corner of my eye to try to take a good look at Jenny. I notice the man quickly reach for the gun. Before I could comprehend what I was doing, I aim the gun at his hand and pull the trigger. I stared down at the bloody, gaping hole in the middle of his hand. A tiny piece of bone stuck out of the skin and out into the air. The man yanked his head back. I quickly step forward the gun laying on the ground covered in thick red blood. I kick the gun away and aim the shotgun at the man. My eyes lingered on his neck. He had a silver chain hanging around his neck. There was a small silver triangle hanging off the chain. Inside the triangle was an even smaller triangle with a black stone inside the triangle. The necklace didn't have anything fancy like my watch or ring but I liked it. I shove my gun into the man's face and tapped the front of my neck. The man stared at me with shock before using his injury-free hand to touch his neck. His finger poked at his necklace. The man squeezed his eyes as he grabbed the back of his necklace and ripped the necklace off his neck. He slowly stretched out his trembling arm. I quickly snatch the necklace and stuff the necklace in my pocket. I felt my lips form a smile as I turn my head towards Jenny. Blood dripped onto the floor as she slowly clutched her stomach. The old man's eyes were wide with shock. His whole body shook at the sight of blood. Jenny slowly reached into her bag with shaking hands. She cautiously took out a roll of gauze and started to slowly wrap the gauze around her stomach. I felt an uneasy feeling filled my stomach as I watched her treat herself.

Dominique didn't tell me to pack any first aid, did she just happen to have it. I grit my teeth as other thoughts filled my head. Dominique seems like the type to be cautious when it comes to getting injured. Jenny also seems to be someone who cares about safety too. Dominique's plans haven't always gone to plan either. Maybe he just forgot to put it in his bag. I felt my pinky twitch as I hear Dominique scream.

"Evan get in here." I look away at Jenny and look back towards the man who I just robbed. I walked behind him and roughly grab his shirt. I lifted up my arm, his shirt slipped right off. I grunt as I put my shotgun straight to his chest.

"Get up," I said in a deep commanding voice. The man slowly got up. I shove my shotgun into his back and lead him towards the old man. The man trembled with each step he took. I groan as I pointed my shotgun at the ceiling. I put my hand up against his back and put all my weight into him as I shove right him right bedside the old man. The man tumbled to the old man's side. I use my free hand and reach for my pistol. I take the pistol out of my waistband and slowly aim the pistol at the man's leg. I squeeze the trigger. A stream of pressure went up my arm as a bullet flew out of the gun and into the man's kneecap. I tuck the pistol into my waistband and turn to Jenny.

"Watch over them," I commanded as I turned away from her and towards the door, Dominique took that lady into. I didn't bother to wait for Jenny's response as I walked away from her. I sigh as I heard the loud thump of a body falling to the floor with a loud scream filling up the room. I jump over the counter and hold my shotgun to my chest. I walk through the door and enter a small room with a glass door on the left that led to the outside. I notice a plain wooden door on the right side of the room that led to who knows where. In the middle of the room was a large metal door with a keypad on the left side of the door. The lady was quickly tapping on the keys, Dominique had his M16 pointed directly at her head. Dominque looked over at me with his eyebrows furrowed together in anger.

"What took you so long?"

"Someone had a gun." Dominque's anger expression faded away. He calmly nodded as the door opened. The woman opened the door to reveal a tiny room that had tiny square lockers covering the room. I smile as I saw a small tiny metal table with wheels loaded with three stacks of money. The room only had enough space for one person to stand in. I notice the woman run for the wooden door in the corner of my eye. I point my gun into the air and draw my pistol at the woman. I aim for the head and pull the trigger. The bullet flew right past her head and straight into the wall. The woman froze up in place. I take a deep breath as I aim at her head and breath out. I squeeze the trigger and put the gun back into my waistband. A gushy, red hole was left in the middle of her head. I turn back to the metal door and walk inside. Dominique stayed in the middle of the doorway. He leaned in towards the inside of the door and looked around.

In the back of the room was a small tiny metal table with wheels. I smile as I saw a stack of money, I quickly walk over to the table with a giddy feeling building up in my chest. I hand the bag's straps around my neck. I grab a fistful of cash and stuff it into my bag. I quickly put the rest of the cash into my bag and turn around to look at the lockers. I spot a camera hanging right above the door.

"Dom move," I commanded as I put my shotgun on the table and pull out my pistol. I aim at the camera and fire. A loud, bell-like noise filled the room. I shut my eyes from the pain building up inside my head. The camera shattered into pieces, wires hanging down to the floor from where the camera used to be. I walk over to one of the lockers and stare at the closed lockers. The ringing in my ears faded as I looked over at Dominique.

"How do we get this open?" I felt my eyes widen at the muffled sound of my voice. I put on finger into my ear and twist as Dominque responded.

"Can you see any more cameras?" I take my finger out of my ear and look around. I shake my head and look back towards Dominique.

"I don't see anymore." My voice still sounded muffled, I furrow my eyes in anger as I heard Dominque start to walk towards me. His footsteps sounded like someone was trying to bang pieces of pots and plates together. I felt my eyes twitch as he walked upright to me. He pointed his gun to the ceiling with one hand. A boxing glove appeared out of nowhere in his free hand. His hand quickly met the side of my head. My head snapped to the side as I heard the air whoosh by.

"Can you hear now?" I smile as his voice suddenly became more clearer. I give him a curt nod before responding.

"What happened to no powers?" Dominique smacked his lips.

"It doesn't matter, there's no one here no cameras either." I take a deep breath before turning to the lockers.

"How do we get the lockers open?"

"I don't know, figure something out. Imma go help Jen." I stare at the corner of my eye as Dominique walked out of the room. I glare at the door before looking back at the lockers. I put my hand over it, a long black shadow fell over the lock on the locker. The shadow went inside the lock. I felt my magic start to slowly drain as the shadow tinkered around in the lock. I hear a click, I smiled as the shadow traveled out of the lock and to where it originally started. I quickly open the lock and put my hand into the locker. I felt around the locker, I felt my hand start to shake as my hand felt nothing. I take out my hand quickly move on to the next locker. I hover my arm above the lock to cast a shadow. The shadows hastily swam into the lock. I hear a click, I enthusiastically opened the locker with a big smile. I crouch down and look inside the locker.

My smile dropped with the emptiness of the locker. My left index finger twitch at the faint sounds of a siren in the distance. I stand back up and look towards the door. "Dominque!" Loud echoing footsteps quickly rushed in my direction. I look at the next locker and repeated the process as Dominique slammed into the doorway.

"What?"

"I hear police coming."

"Shit."

Dominique quickly walked to one of the lockers. I heard the loud scraping of metal behind me as I unlocked the locker.

"Hurry up!" Dominique demanded. I smiled as I grab a fistful of cash and stuff it into my bag. My smile dropped as I responded.

"I have no other way to open these lockers!" I shouted at him before moving on to the next locker.

"Can't you make stuff explode? Just destroy the lockers!" I let out a loud sigh. I turn around, walk over to Dominque and push him out of the room.

"Then move dumbass!" Dominique glared at me as he rushed out of the room. I walk over to my gun on the table and hold it by my side. I take out a few small pebbled out of my Inventory and throw them in the middle of the room before rushing out. I grab the hinges of the metal door and start to close it, I left it just a little bit open before stepping back. I snap my fingers, a defining, ear ringing noise blasted the door wide open. I squint through the small as I walk in. To my amazement, the lockers were caved in instead of the locker doors being wide open like I expected. There were tiny holes in the lockers that left just enough space to rip them open.

I swiftly walk over to the nearest locker and rip it open. I felt the metal cut my gloves as I felt around the locker. I grabbed a measly fifty dollars and stuffed them into my bag. I crouched to the level of the lower lockers and begin to tear them open. If we're starting to use our powers now, wouldn't it be easier to just put everything into my Inventory instead of bags? My eyes widen as I felt the back of my head tingle. I felt my heartbeat louder and louder as I ripped open the locker. I looked in the corner of my eye and notice Dominique standing in the middle of the doorway. I couldn't see the top half of his body but I could tell that he was pointing at me. I look back towards the locker and pretended that I didn't notice. I pretend to feel around the locker as Dominique started to ask me questions.

"Remember when I asked you to rob that one van with those vaccines?" I nod my head silently. "Ever since then, you've been robbing and doing everything that made us a lot of money."

"Yeah?"

"Is there a reason you need all this money?" I stayed silent for a moment trying to think of what to say.

"I, uh, you know how I'm a demigod right?"

"Yeah."

"I'm trying to introduce technology to demigods. I need the money for that."

"Is that all?"

"It wouldn't hurt to have the money for myself either." I take a deep breath as I slowly stand up and turn around. My eyes were immediately drawn to his pistol pointed at my head. A calming, numb feeling came over me the more I stared at the gun. "Dominique, what are doing?"

"I remember after the horse race, you took all that money and left nothing for me," Dominique said as he tightened his grip around the gun.

"I gave you money for your business. Considering, that I did all the work, I think it's only fair."

"I'm the one who told you about the race, I'm the one who drove you. I think I should've at least gotten forty-five percent."

"I need the money more than you right now. I walk sideways over the locker with my hands up. I lean against the lockers as tires came to a screech outside the bank. Dominique quickly looked over his shoulder. The tips of my index and thumb fingers instinctively came together to snap. Dominique quickly looked back. His eyes widened as he quickly aimed his gun at my hand and fired. I groan in pain as I felt a burning, fire-like sensation squeeze my hand. My left shoulder suddenly went numb as the left side of my body was pushed back. I felt my left hand grow weak as my shotgun fell out of my hands. I yell as I force my left hand to reach for my waistband.

Dominique calmly aimed for my head. Before he could squeeze the trigger, I desperately pull out my gun and pulled the trigger as soon as the gun pointed in his direction. A bullet grazed his shoulder. I pulled the trigger again as my hand grew weak. The gun aimed down as I pulled the trigger. Dominique collapsed to his knees as a bullet went straight through his knee. Jenny suddenly rushed up behind him and dragged him out of the door. My breathing became heavy as I heard the front door of the bank burst open.

I put my pistol into my bag and reach for my shotgun. Jenny quickly dragged Dominique away from the doorway. I stumbled forward just in time to see Jenny drag Dominique through the glass door. I force my left hand to lift up my shotgun to my chest. I stumble towards the wooden door as police flooded the room. I turn around and shoot at one of the policemen. I fell back and through the wooden door with my grip still tight on the shotgun. Tiny bits of money fell out of the bag as I aimed at another police officer and squeezed the trigger. The shotgun flew out of my hand as two bodies dropped. I slowly crawled away from the wooden door. As the door shut behind me I forced myself back up. I reach for my shotgun only for me to stuff it in my bag. I pull out my pistol and take a deep breath. I heard fast rapid footsteps head straight for the room I was just in.

I groan as I look back towards the wooden door and sprint through it. My head slammed through the door with just enough force to break the door open. I sprinted towards the glass door. I heard police rush into the room behind me as I ran outside. I look towards the left and see two police cars waiting by the front I quickly take off towards the right and behind the building. Blood oozed from out of my right hand as I ran across the parking lot. I wheezed as I ran by Jenny trying to get into a car with Dominique leaning against the car. Dominique raised his gun in my direction as I reached a metal fence with barbwire at the top. I stopped and put my pistol into the bag. I reached for the top and was able to easily reach it. I put my right hand on the fence only to realize that my index and thumb were missing. I froze up as I saw my middle finger missing the top half. A cold, numbing feeling came over me as I forced myself to look away from my bloody messed-up hands. I jump and put all my energy into my left hand. My left hand trembled as I neared the top. I put my feet up on the fence and push myself up. I bring up my right hand to the barbwire and grabbed it. I screamed as I push down on the barbwire and pulled myself up. I groaned as threw my chest over the fence. Large holes appeared in my shirt as my chest slid across the barbwire.

Legs went over my head and fell off the fence. My head slammed into the concrete floor which was followed by my back falling onto the floor. I quickly got back up and turned around. Dominique aimed his gun and pulled the trigger. I stumble backward and clutched my chest. A cold, heavy feeling lingered above my body as I turn around and slowly walked towards a nearby alleyway. My breathing slowed down to ragged, heavy breaths. I hunched over and fall to my knees.

Thick, dark red blood surrounded me as I take out my poster and get under the side with the hieroglyphs. My magic drained as my vision filled with white. I stared up at the ceiling as my breathing started to slow. I force myself to sit up and took out a health potion. I grab the top of my mask and throw it across the room. I look at the potion in my left hand and shakily bring it up to my lips. I bite down on the cork with my front teeth and weakly pull the potion away from my teeth. The cork popped out, I spit the cork out and slowly drink the red liquid. The liquid barely touched my lips before I pulled away and gasped for air.

I put the potion back into my Inventory as I lean back onto the floor. A heavy, tiring feeling covered my body. My chest slowly fell and rose again as the adrenaline that was keeping me from my body giving up left my body. My right hand felt like it was constantly being hit by a jackhammer. I close my eyes and felt my body begin to rest.

My body shook as I sat up again. I felt my heartbeat in my chest before I laid back down and closed my eyes. I forced myself to open up my eyes but I was quickly overwhelmed by the heaviness of my eyelids.

I let out one last sigh before I drifted off into sleep.

10:45

I felt my whole body shake from side to side as I opened my eyes. My eyes widen as I sat up and looked around with my heart beating loudly in my ears. I began to calm down as I saw Goldie's hand on my shoulder. I groan as what felt like a hammer slam into my body waved throughout my body. I slowly got up with my legs shaking. Goldie put her hands under my armpits and lifted me up into the air. She let go of me once I was up on my feet. I looked down at Goldie, the corners of my lips drop into a frown as Goldie grabbed my arms frantically with wide eyes.

"What happened?" She yelled with a squeaky voice. She poked at my left shoulder. I winced and sucked in air through my teeth as I felt her finger pierce my skin. She quickly retracted her arm. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." She said with worry as she put her hands on my shoulder. Her palms glowed a bright green, the heaviness in my shoulder disappeared. She let go of my shoulder and took a step back, I moved my shoulder in a circle. My shoulder felt weightless, it felt way better than it did before. Goldie grabbed my arm and started to lead me towards the bathroom. "I don't know what happened, but go wash off all that blood and go to sleep."

"I'll you what happened later." I bring up my right hand to turn the doorknob but quickly stop myself. I felt my chest tightened as I stared down at my hand with two missing fingers. I bring up my hand to my eyes and stare at the two stubs where my index and thumb should be. I felt nothing as I stared at the stubs. The skin perfectly covered the injuries, it was like a bullet didn't go through my hand, almost like I always had three fingers. I slowly blink as I notice a box appear. I glance at the box for just a second.

You slept on a carpeted floor, 85% of injuries healed.

Hp: 3,142/4,253

Mp 636/636

Stamina: 355/355

Bullet wound in the left shoulder healed.

Bullet wound in the stomach was 75% healed

Right hand healed.

You will be tired, and sore for a few days.

I sigh as close the box and turn around. "I'm just going to sleep," I said in a raspy voice.

"At least wash off the blood first," Goldie said with worry. I ignore her as I walk over to my bed and jump onto the mattress. Goldie stood still as she stared at me. I turn around towards the wall and close my eyes. I felt around with my tiny stubs with the fingers on my left hand. I stared silently at the wall.

I should've known Dominique was going to do something like this.
