Chapter 21

They started to depart early in the morning the next day. Noah insisted Seiran to ride the horse with him.

"Wish I have a girl too." Leon mumbled as he couldn't help but look at the two being happy as they're riding the horse.

"Thank you for helping us." Leon said when they brought Seiran back to her school.

"Of course you're always welcome." She said.

"Goodbye." They said to each other. Leon struggled to decide if he's gonna break that long eye contact the two were making.

"Oh please, you'll see each other next time." He finally said. The two smiled at each other, making him feel the cringe.

"So who're they?" Dina asked. The four of them are sitting in the bench at the school ground.

"Some people I encountered once. They just wanted my help as a healer." Seiran explained. She hoped there would be no more questions because she didn't want to lie more to her friends.

They waren't satisfied with the answer especially Luke, who actually knew one of them. They noticed Seiran wasn't uncomfortable with the subject so they dropped it off.

Everything went back to normal except the constant questions from Seiran's schoolmates. They were all asking who those shady looking guys are but Dina told Seiran she could tell them what she told her and the others. Anymore questions than that, she could just brush it off.

"Seiran the dean wants to see you." A student excused Seiran from her last class.

Once they were in front of the dean's room, Seiran knocked then the dean told her to come inside. She saw a familiar back in front of the dean that looks like he has the worst problem he ever had in his life. Noah turned to face her.

"Please sit beside Mr. Raileigh, Ms. Villamonde." Seiran was surprised to hear the dean call her that. She looked at Noah and hurt was written all over her face.

"You told him?" She felt betrayed and angry. Tears started to flow out of her eyes. Noah quickly stood up and walked towards her.

"No, I didn't tell anyone." He wiped her tears away. He felt hurt that Seiran gave him that kind of expression.

"Let's sit down. I'll tell you everything." He said gently when Seiran stopped crying.

The dean faked a cough then he was about to start when Noah stopped him.

"Mr. Armonde came back a day before us right?" Seiran nodded.

"He told the headmaster of your identity and magic. The headmaster contacted your family and told them they found you... but your sister said they already kicked you out of the family." Noah could see through her face how hurt she's feeling right now. He held her hand and gently squeezed it. She took a deep breath to calm herself.

"Looks like they don't plan to take me back. Then why are you here?" She asked.

"The headmaster wants you to transfer to our school. He doesn't care of your family origin. He wants to teach you personally as you have a very bright future by having two elements of magic."

"What if I refuse?"

"The headmaster will personally come get you."

"I don't want to leave my friends and I'm scared." She said so soft only Noah could hear it.

"You can see your friends when the headmaster gives you permission. If you're worried about your sister, don't be. I won't let her hurt you." She looked at Noah and saw his golden eyes. He looked determined to keep his words.

"What? That monster is still alive?" Porsha is inside the headmaster's room as she was about to be assigned to go to another kingdom to eliminate an evil beast

Paul told headmaster about an illegitimate child of Villamonde but he didn't saw Porsha at the side of the room.

"For your information, Mr. Armonde, dad couldn't possibly have an affair with other women so don't spread any false information." She walked out then packed her things.

Noah and Luke arrived the next day. They headed towards the headmaster's room and gave their report.

"Tell me about the Villamonde girl." He said. The two already knew who told him.

"Hmm, she's a genius. One of you, tell her I want her to transfer here. I will teach her personally."

They both got out of the room and they crossed paths with Porsha.

"Is it true the monster's still alive?" She asked. Both were confused at her sudden question. Leon seemed to get what she's saying.

"Your sister?" He asked carefully.

"Ugh, I can't believe you just called her my sister." She rolled her eyes.

"You call your sister a monster?" Noah asked in disbelief.

"Don't get fooled by her appearance. She may look nice but she's a monster inside that killed our mother. That damn maid Adi must've kept her even though I told her to throw her far away from here." She said darkly. She flipped her hair then strutted away from the two boys.

That is how Noah guessed that she's afraid of her sister. Noah grabbed her hand then they walked outside.

"I'll take you to your dorm." He said. Seiran just nodded as she hold on to his hand. It's been two weeks since she touched his so she kind of miss the feeling.

It was almost night time so students are already resting in their own room. No one was outside except for them and a few janitors. They walked silently as they feel the comfortable silence around them. It was a long walk towards Seiran's dormitory but or them it felt like it wasn't more than 5 minutes. They stopped at the entrance then they faced each other.

"I'll come pick you up after school ends." He said.

"Really? I wouldn't have the chance to say goodbye to Adi."

"Sorry, the headmaster told me you can't be left alone outside school zone, now that Mr. Armonde told many people about you." He said.

"I'll just write her a letter then." She forced a smile. She felt sad that she couldn't tell Adi personally how thankful she is to her. He pinched her cheeks and said, "don't force a smile. It hurts to see you do that." Noah was surprised at himself and felt embarrased to say that out loud.

"Ehem!" They both turned quickly when they heard a loud faked cough. Seiran instantly blushed when she saw her friends looking weirdly at them.

Suddenly there was a violet magic circle that appeared behind Noah.

"It's the headmaster's teleportation magic. I should go now." He let go of her hand.

"Bye." She waved her hand as she stepped inside the magic circle and disappeared. Seiran stood silently like her friends did. She decided to tell them all about her since she'll be leaving soon anyway. Plus she's always had something going on around her that she couldn't keep lying to them anymore.
