YOUR KARMA

"Finally free from the walls of that hospital," he implied the moment he was welcomed by the fragrance of his house, of his sitting room.

"You hate the hospital that much?" Fortune cackled as she served as an aid for him to get inside the sitting room. His left arm was bundled over her shoulders while she assisted him with her arm around his waist. She gently guided him in and helped him sit down.

"Mhm," he nodded and whined, leaning his back on the sofa. "I'm kinda allergic to hospitals, it reminds me of the past trauma." She pulled out a stool beside the sofa and gently lifts his legs even when he flinched in pain and placed them on the stool.

She perked up to meet his eyes and found him smiling. She held his eyes for some minute before returning his smile. She plopped beside him, her eyes still on him. "I wonder why you feign to be bad and mean when you are a good person."
