Made Yourself A Spot

After Cameron's bird flight experience out of the base, they made their way to the block where Claire's villa was in. She was now sitting in the passengers seat while they were both waiting in the car. She had instructed him to park about a mile away so she could explain some details pertaining the plan.

"Okay so I messed up your phone and location tracker when I pushed you into the water about forty minutes ago. That's already double the time it would have taken your boss to figure out that you were last located at the docks and now nowhere to be found. I had my team tap into your tracker coding and had this one configured to the same setting. As soon as you press this button, it will immediately notify your team where you are." She explained as she gave him a small black box with a small red button on top of it.

"Seeing as Mr. Villan specifically sent you to keep an eye on me I'm guessing he's gonna be pissed you disappeared at the docks for so long and then suddenly re-appeared at the other side of the city. But don't worry, I'll explain it to him later. What I need you to do is hold off from sending our location until we're inside the house and have already encountered the pests. Judging by the number of dogs your boss has under his command throughout the city, it'll take them from eight to ten minutes to reach us. Giving my team more than enough time to get in and then get out with what they need." Claire said as she started to take off her heels."Besides that, you can just offer the team back up if needed while we're inside."

"Ma'am?" Cameron asked as she finished instructing him.

"Yes?" Claire replied as she started to put on a pair of fluffy pink bunny slippers on that drastically contrasted with her elegant evening gown.

"I don't mean to be disrespectful but, is that what you're wearing?" Cameron's eyebrows furrowed. He couldn't understand why she would choose to wear a dress and bunny slippers to such a dangerous environment like the one they were about to go into. The dress in itself was one thing, but bunny slippers!?

"Why yes I am Cameron. You see, my brother picked out this dress for me to wear tonight. And since the assholes we're about to deal with ruined his original good intentions, I'm going to make sure it isn't put to waste." She replied with a gentle yet somewhat menacing expression on her face.

Understanding now what the meaning behind it was, he simply nodded in response. Seeing as she was done saying everything necessary he turned on the engine and drove to the villa's front gate. They were let in by the stationed guards there and made their way up the driveway. Once they reached the front of the house Cameron parked the car and got out. He quickly made his way to Claire's door and opened it for her. Just as she was about to place a foot on the ground she stopped.

"Dammit. My favorite pair are gonna get dirty." She mumbled to herself as she was already lamenting her bunny slippers getting ruined. She sighed and was about to step out but she was abruptly picked up causing her to yelp in surprise.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you ma'am. I just figured it was better if they didn't get ruined. They seem important." Cameron told her as he pushed the door closed with his shoulder while carrying her in a princess hold.

After getting over her initial shock she answered. "Cameron, you just made yourself a spot on my friends list." Claire offered him a sincere smile as she let herself be carried up the stairs in front of the villa and brought inside.

Cameron let her down once inside. Claire flicked the lights on and started to walk down the hall. He followed her and quickly found himself in a large living room. There was no furniture of any kind unlike the other parts of the house he saw while making their way there. It was completely empty.

"As soon as the first rat comes through the door you can press the button on the tracker." Claire said to him as he saw her wiggle her bunny slippers from side to side in what seemed like excitement. "Oh! And don't stand close to the windows."

Just as Claire said that, the room started to flood with men in suits pointing guns at them. Cameron wasted no time in stepping in front of her in a protective manner. He had his hands in his pant pockets and immediately pressed the button on the tracker he had in one of them, gesture that went unnoticed by the men that were now surrounding him.

"So what is it that you want?" Claire asked as she crossed her arms in front of her as soon as men had stopped moving.

"You're coming with us." One of the men answered.

"Oh? Well come and take me then." She sweetly said as she stretched out her arms as if waiting to be cuffed. She had counted thirty men come in.

"Tell your men to stand down. We know they're close by." The same man ordered her.

"And what if I don't?" Claire asked as she tilted her head to the side making her look like she was an innocent little girl. Having bunny slippers on made it all the more convincing.

They heard a gun click and saw a man stepped in front of the rest and stood close to them. "Then I'll shoot you both and take your corpse." He said as he raised the gun to point at Cameron's head.

'So it's you. That was quicker than I expected.' Claire thought to herself as she turned her stretched out arms face up. Not a second later all the windows in the room burst. She had signaled her team.

All of the men inside found themselves covered in red dots. Seconds later the sounds of quick zooming through the air could be heard. As they realized the situation they were in, it was already to late for them to react. They were already falling on the ground covered in darts. Moments after, a group of uniformed men started to fill the room.

Seeing as the man pointing to his head was momentarily distracted, Cameron had swiftly knocked him to the ground with a powerful roundhouse kick to his rib-cage. As the man fell on the floor he heard a gun click over him. While groaning in pain and grabbing at his side, he looked up and saw a gun being pointed at his head. Looking at the face of the man behind it he shivered. Cameron's eyes held a deadly warning look. One move and his blood would definitely spill on the marble floor. Everything happened so fast he didn't even have time to register the rest of his men being carried and dragged out while unconscious.

"Now then Mr. Rat." Claire started say towards the man still on the floor. "I do apologize for my people interrupting our conversation a minute ago. But you see I'm very shy when it comes to talking in big crowds. Being overprotective like always, they simply wanted to make me feel more comfortable during our short time together." She told him while the frightening gentle smile never left her face.
