I have no idea where or who I am, but what I know is that I have neither food nor clothes or something to drink.
I'm scared and cold. I don't know how I came here. I can't remember anything.
I stand up and look at my surroundings. There is a forrest around me. It's dark and I can hardly see anything except the trees right in front of me.
I start walking. I don't know where, but I know every place is better then this.
Suddenly right before me is a ruin. I listen if there's any sound. If there's any life. There's nothing so I enter the ruin. It's darker as it was outside, but it's save. That's what my instinkts tell me.
I try to find my way by feeling the wall. I come into a big room. The air smells old, like water and old plants. Tge walls are wet, yet I find a dry spot on the floor and lay down.
I am so tired that I sleep right the moment my body hits the floor.
-----------------------------------------
Voices wake me up after what felt like seconds. I can hear steps from outside the ruin. I crawl into a corner and pull my knees up to my chest.
The steps are coming closer.
I lay my head on my knees and try to get as small as possible.
"Wait!", I hear someone say from the hallway to the room I'm sitting in,"I get a lifesighn from a room in front of us!"
"Didn't you say here was no one?"
"Yes. The signal couldn't reach through the wall."
The steps came still closer. They will find me. I can't hide. Some strange blue-white light enlightens the room and I look up in fear.
A young man followed by five other men enters the room and stands there. He stares at me.
"Hello", he just says.
I blink. Try to say something, but I can't. I open my mouth and some strange sound escapes my mouth. It was supposed to be a question.
The man who greeted me exchanges a look with one of the men.
"Can you talk?", the other man asks.
"I-", I try to form the words,"don't..."
I don't know anything...
"H-Help..."
"Do you need help?", the first man asks
I nod and stand up. When the men got a closer look on me, they looked away quickly. One pulls of his jacket and gives it to me.
I put it on. It is to big for me, but so it at least covers all.
I follow the two men and the others walk behind us.
It is dark outside and even with the jacket it is cold. Evryone is silent and I don't know whether that's because of me or because they don't want to get attacked by someone they don't hear because they are too loud.
The flashlights of the men make enough light for me to see the ground and few of the trees.
At once the trees become less and we're standing on a meadow and a little more then ten meters away from us there's a ring of steel.
It looks familiar, but I don't know why. It is as if I've seen something like this before, but I can't remember when or where. That's not odd, given that I can't remember anything.
Ok, bad time for humor.
The man who gave me the jacket goes to a device right in front of the ring. I step closer to see what he is doing, but someone carefully holds me back.
Suddenly something looking like water pushes out of the ring, pulles back and then it stays flickering inside it.
"Come on", the man who discovered me says and pushes me forward slightly.
I am not scared of the waterlike surface like I'm suposed to be. I feel like I did that before and have no reason to be scared.
I step trough it and at once white light blindes me. When I can see again I can see a large room. In front of me are steps with glowing signs and above me there's a balcony.
I step through the stargate and I see Atlantis waking up around me, under my feet. It's waking up from a slumber it hold for over ten thousand years...
I shake my head. Stargate? Atlantis? Are those the names of the ring and the place I am now? I seem to remember. And if only one thing, but that's a start. I was here before.
"Jack who is this?", a redhaired woman asked the brownhaired man who was in the group which had found me.
"We found her in a ruin which has to be there over two thousand years", Jack answered.
"Why did you-", the woman stopped when she got a closer look at me,"Oh my god. She's half naked. Get the woman some clothes and get her checked up from Dr. Dekker. You have to explain that later in the 2000 briefing."
With that the woman shakes her head and turns around to go.
"Good night Elizabeth", Teyla says, turns around and leaves my office.
"Sleep well Teyla", I say smiling before I continue reading my report.
"Teyla...", I say staring after her as she walks to an office that looks so painingly familiar.
-----------------------------------------
"Get the woman washed! She can't walk around like this!", Dr. Dekker says with a heavy irish accent.
"What's your name luv?", a young woman asks me.
"I-", I have problems with forming words," I can only...remember...my first name. Elizabeth..."
The woman smiles.
"Then you have the same name as our mayor and leader. Her name also is Elizabeth. Elizabeth Emmagan."
"Hello, I'm Teyla Emmagan. But call me Teyla", Teyla says smiling.
"Nice to meet you, Teyla. I'm Doctor Elizabeth Weir."
"Emmagan...", I say quietly.
"What?", the woman asks confused.
"Nothing. I just think I once knew someone with this name... Oh, by the way, I remembered my last name. I'm Elizabeth Weir", I say, straightening my back.
"I'm Dahlia Bekket."
She helps my cleaning up and gives me some clothes. A grey t-shirt, jeans some umderwear and a pair of boots.
"Sorry. We have nothing better. Just our uniforms."
"No problem, Dr. Bekket", say and take on the clothes. I'm happy not to be naked anymore.
"Oh, just call me Dahlia", Dahlia says and laughes.
"Ok, Dahlia."
"Stop chatting ladies! I have to chep up on our little quest", the Doctor says, "So, I see you don't have any more problems with talking?"
"No. I guess it just needed some time."
"The team that found you told me you where having trouble with your memory?"
"Yes", I say, sitting on a bed,"But I start to remember."
"What happened to you down there...", he says, more to himself as he examines me.
