Chapter 509: We Need to Talk

Willow could hear everything Jeremy was saying, but she could not respond. She was so angry with herself for having swallowed the drink he had given her without a second thought, and even more disgusted that she had seriously considered giving him another chance. The man was not being rough with her, but it only served as a further insult, and she could tell that he believed being gentle would help.

Willow wished she could make Jeremy hit her or slap her a few times. At least then she wouldn't feel like she was giving herself to a man who had clearly lost his mind. He was not even taking into consideration that she was on a cold hard floor in a dusty storage room. There was nothing romantic about the situation, yet he was slowly kissing up and down her body as if they were in a luxury hotel on their wedding night.

When Jeremy's hand slid to the band of her safety shorts, Willow shut her eyes tightly. It did not take him long to figure out the lock mechanism on them, and he pulled them off with ease before leaning back over her body to plant kisses on her frozen lips.

"Don't be scared. I won't hurt you." Willow found herself asking Jeremy how he would even know, but her words were only playing in her mind and nowhere else. The man was still dedicated to his love making act and he placed gentle kisses on her navel before gently tugging on her underwear. He looked up at her tear covered face, then sighed deeply before sitting up in shame. "I don't want it to be this way," he said while moving forward to wipe her tears.

Jeremy scooped Willow's unmoving body into a hug and placed kisses on her face and lips. She shut her eyes tightly, feeling that the kisses were going from being gentle, to being rough and longing. He trailed his fingers up and down her arms, trying to see if she would have a reaction, but a loud thud at the door distracted him. Jeremy's eyes turned dark as he glared at her.

"Are you F*cking him?" he asked in disgust, and Willow shook her head, glad that she could at least do that. "Then why is he hovering around you? Are you two back together?" Willow barely got to shake her head because Jeremy roughly grabbed her face. "I'm not just going to let him have you." He positioned himself between her legs and started to unclasp his pants, but somehow, Oric flew into the room, quickly shutting the door behind him before picking up a nearby chair and slamming it into Jeremy's body.

Jeremy was hit so hard that he fell far from Willow's prone body, and before he could stand up, Oric was already landing punch after punch on the man; picking him up and throwing him across the room, while simultaneously beating him with whatever furniture he could lift.

Willow was at first afraid of what Jeremy was going to do to her, but now she was afraid of what Oric was going to do to Jeremy. The man's body had since gone limp, but Oric was unrelenting. Willow forced a whimper out of her throat, and Oric snapped his attention toward her. He rushed to her side and wrapped her body in the table cover she had been laid on.

"Did he hurt you?" He asked, keeping his eyes on Willow's. She shook her head as much as she could, and the man hugged her head to his chest. "This is my fault," he said with tears in his eyes. He knew that Willow had intimacy issues from Olivia, and he knew that those issues had put a lot of strain on her relationship with Jeremy. He wiped at his face, smearing blood from a cut he had on his hands before making sure that Willow's body was covered.

Walking away, Oric cracked open the door of the room wanting Mina to help him dress Willow, but as soon as she looked at him, she fell back into Connor's arms and Oric could tell that she was taken aback by his appearance. Not seeing any other choice, he asked Mills to enter, and the woman was quick to follow. She didn't even spare Jeremy a second glance as she helped slide Willow into her clothing, relieved to see the woman's panty in place.

"She doesn't need a hospital, but she needs water. If we hydrate her enough, she may not pass out." Oric nodded in understanding. "I will help you sneak her out." Mills stood up and left the room, speaking in Sani to Connor, who stood outside of the door next to Drax, who wore an irritated yet worried expression.

"We need as many bottles of water as you can carry, and where is Mina?"

"Ash and Cylus are with her, and Willow?"

"Scared, but unharmed. We need to clear the hall, and if that other man is someone important, we need an ambulance." Connor nodded, and left the hall leaving Mills and Drax to guard the door.

"Are you still angry with me?" He asked, already knowing the answer.

"Now is not the time to talk about it, but the short answer is no." She cradled her arms around Drax's body, feeling grateful that she had only been with the man she loved, and he had taken his time with her. Although Willow was not completely nude, and the man was dressed from the waist down, another minute could have led to disaster. "Keeping me safe is not lying to me." She whispered and Drax pulled her into his body.

----

Oric put Willow in his car and forced her to drink another bottle of water. He didn't know if Mina's friend knew what she was talking about, but before they left, Willow became able to make noise. The first thing she did was cry loudly and Oric helped her sit up while forcing her to drink more water. He couldn't help but to shed a few tears of his own, because he knew he had caused Willow's pain.

"Do you have a place I can take you?" he asked, suppressing the urge to bawl like a baby. Willow shook her head and he started toward his family home. He no longer lived there, but he knew his parents would not mind because they loved Willow.

There were many cars in front of the house, and he internally cursed, realizing that his family was entertaining guests. Oric made a call and as instructed, his sister unlocked the back door and distracted his parents, allowing him to sneak Willow in. She could walk, but she was struggling to keep her balance, so Oric guided her to his old bedroom.

Willow froze when she realized where they were, and she instinctively started to retreat but Oric stopped her from scrambling away. Misunderstanding her reaction, he assured her that he no longer lived with his parents, and that he would leave as soon as she was comfortable. Oric guided Willow to the bed, and images of herself lying on it flashed in her mind making her tremble. He pulled her into his chest and cuddled her, ensuring her that she would be okay, but she knew that; She just wanted to leave the room she was in.

"Do you want to shower?" he asked, "I can set the water, leave, and come back." Willow shook her head.

"I can't be here," she whispered, "take me somewhere else." Oric studied the woman's face before he grasped that they were in the place where everything started.

"Wait here." Oric checked in with his sister, who said that the guest rooms were not occupied. He went back to Willow, who had taken his words literally and had not moved. He walked her to a guest room and helped her get settled before leaving and coming back. "Willow, we need to talk."
