Chapter 730: Trust Mina

Ian continued to speak, but Mina did not respond to him. Eventually, she relaxed and laid beside her sleeping niece, ignoring that he was still in the room, so Ian could tell she was listening. He used the opportunity to lay behind her, wrapping his arm around her body as he explained how he felt when he thought she was dead, where his mind had gone, and why Lisa was even a part of anything he did. He heard nothing, but judging by the rise and fall of her chest, he knew she was crying. Ian wanted nothing more than to instantly erase all the pain she was feeling, but he knew it would take time to heal the wounds he had given her.
