Under the extreme circumstance, Mina is thrown into despair, hatred and love all that the same time, but will the experience break her or make her ‘better?’

When a Genius Makes a Mistake

Zane felt terrible; his stomach was in constant knots, and no matter how he positioned his body, his abdomen continually cramped. He was so angry with Ellie that he would not talk to her, but he could tell the woman was remorseful, especially since she sacrificed a trip into the slums to care for him. He decided to use the opportunity to bully her, groaning loudly as he rolled around the bed, making Ellie flustered as she frantically tried to help him.

"It shouldn't be this painful," she said, pulling him up to feed him water. "Why is this happening?"

"Please… Call my mother. I want to tell her that I love her."

"What?! Why? Zane, don't scare me like this." Zane clutched at his stomach, making a loud pained noise as Ellie fumbled with her phone. Realizing that she did not have the woman's contact, Ellie brought Zane his own device, and the man called his mother, breaking Ellie's heart as he spoke.
