Boarding onto the train was a challenge.
Especially when one had a couple hundred knights holding them back.
" YOUR HIGHNESS PLEASE DON'T LEAVE!"
" WE BEG YOU!"
"THE COMMANDER HASN'T COME OUT OF HIS ROOM, YOUR OUR ONLY HOPE!"
"YOU GUYS, STOP IT ALREADY! I NEED TO GET ON THE TRAIN!"
Dragging my foot, I anchor myself onto the platform, using all of my strength to get onto the train.
"You knights, seriously..."
Everything froze, slowly we all turned, standing before us was Kevin, a black aura emitting from him making the rest of us gulp.
Kevin then smiled. FREAKING SMILED! It was at that moment I realised that the knights were doomed.
Trying my best not to shiver, I gave my best 'royalty' voice, " Tell my brother that if he doesn't come out of his room, I'm gonna disown him."
.
.
.
"YES, PRIN-I MEAN, JEREMY!"
They nearly blew my cover.
The knights then rushed back to where they came from leaving Kevin and I, alone.
"I am going to punish them when we go back." mumbled Kevin as he stared off in the distance. Shaking his head, he turned to me.
"Make sure not to blow your cover and.." pulling my hand, Kevin pulled me into his arms.
"Kevin?!"
"Be careful..."
He then pushed me onto the train, nagging at me not to make myself act like a fool.
However, I was too preoccupied with what he just did.
"What the heck was that?" I muttered under my breath, as I made my way to an empty compartment. Settling down, I attempted to calm myself as I read through the dowager's letter, trying to get my mind off that.
I was supposed to go to school as Jeremy Rainsworth, a scholarship student. Although the school wasn't going to be normal but I guess it was nice to at least have a peaceful time while I can enjoy it.
"Excuse me, is this compartment free?"
Turning to the door, I nearly had a heart attack. Standing there was if I remember correctly, the 3rd and final capture target, Oliver Rosabeast. The details around him are foggy now that my past life memories are slowly being eaten away but if there is one thing I know is that something about him is dangerous, just I'm not sure what?
"Sure."
Oliver smiles before taking his seat opposite me. He was a very pale boy with pink hair that had two long strands framing his face. His eyes were a light blue-grey that held a sort of innocence. He wore a white sweater and black bottoms. A cloak was tied over it.
"Is this your first time going to the magi academy?" asked Oliver
I nodded my head.
Suddenly a knocking sound was heard from the door, two people stood. One of them a beastia boy with dark green hair tied in a ponytail and lime green eyes. He wore an open jacket over his green shirt giving him a casual, wild image. The other boy had a poker face on him. He had short light brown hair and translucent blue eyes. Headphones were strung around his neck, he didn't look like the most talkative.
"There aren't any other seats, can we come in." said the boy with light brown hair.
We nodded our heads, moving aside to make way for them. Time passed and we said nothing, suddenly the intercom went on stating that they would be slightly late in leaving.
"How insufficient." said mr. pokerface as he looked up from his reading.
"Say why not we introduce ourselves!" I said in hopes that maybe we could break the ice
"Sure no problem. My name's Ross PJ Lockehart. " said the beastia as he smiled brightly
"What does the PJ stand for?" I asked
"I don't know?"
" My name is Oliver. Oliver Rosabeast." said Oliver cheerfully
"Aren't you the guy that won this year's young magician competition!"
Oliver blushed before scratching his head, nodding.
We then all turned to mr. pokerface.
"So what's yours?" asked Ross
"Theo, just Theo."
So much for conversation....
They then turned to me, " I'm Jeremy. Jeremy Rainsworth."
Suddenly we heard footsteps approached and a pair of familiar voices.
" Why the hell did you had to have so many number of people for an entourage?!"
"Sorry! but I really wanted to try making friends."
"Your not going to make friends with that method."
Silently, I prayed that it wasn't what it was supposed to be, but of course the world hates me.
Sliding the door open, stood Alexander and Reius, who had chibi perched on his shoulders.
.
.
.
They looked at me for a split second in shock, however Alexander quickly recovered asking politely to enter and of course they had to seat beside me.
"Wow, to think that the princes of both Arborea and Scarabia would be in the same compartment as us.." mumbled Ross in awe.
Its not something to be proud of..
We all introduced ourselves and when I said I was Jeremy. The look in Alexander's eyes told me that I had a lot of explaining to do.
The train finally left the station as we spent the time enjoying the scenery.
"So this is your pet monkey?" commented Theo as he looked at Chibi with interest.
"Yup! Had him since I was little." exclaimed Reius happily. I was a little taken aback with his appearance, He had grown out his hair and tied it into a short ponytail, as well as being a little skinnier but it must have been my imagination.
"So Jeremy, you're a scholarship student, yes?" asked Alexander softly.
Oh no...
"Would you mind telling me all about it."
Before I could say anything, he grabbed me by the wrist, pulling me away.
We then walked down the hallway, he then opened an empty closet pulling me in with him. Slamming me into the wall, and doing a kabedon, he asked (interrogated) me on what happened.
In the end, I spewed out everything to him. Seriously, if looks could kill, I would be dead a ton of times.
He looks at me exasperated, " I see..."
The interrogation ended sooner then we thought, returning to the compartment, we put on our masks.
"So what were you guys chatting about?" I asked
"We were discussing the current situation in Koun. The newspapers say that there's been a lot of problems within the empire recently, especially anything royalty related."
"Is that so..."
I wonder how Hye gong is doing?...
