Christian Grey

The splash of cold water on my face made me gasp for air. I immediately got up, sputtered and coughed the water that managed to get inside my nose and mouth.

"Cathryn Woods."

I looked up at the sound of that familiar voice and found myself in the touching distance of a six feet tall guy with pure muscle and tensile strength.

His dark hair was styled into black spikes in that professional-model kind of way. I had no doubt I was in the presence of one of the hottest males I have ever seen.

But somehow, he looked familiar. I didn't feel an undeniable attraction to him. My eyebrows furrowed as I rubbed my eyes because my vision sucks if I don't wear contacts. I snatched my dark-rimmed glasses from the bedside drawer and put it on.

His eyes were a hypnotic light gray and he has very sharp facial features and strong jawline. A small number of freckles dusted his nose. But it was the whole persona that caught my attention more.

My eyes traveled leisurely to his form. Neat, expensive suit with a pristine white shirt underneath. Black slacks. White socks. Leather shoes. Gray necktie. Hmm.

"What the fuck is happening?" I asked my roommate, confused.

Why is he wearing something that a billionaire would wear?

"Miss Steele." His voice was low and a little rough, as if caught on the edge of a growl. The first time I heard his British accent I knew it was a fake. But I'm giving him a round of applause for the effort.

"It is time to wake you up so I took the liberty in doing so. This is our morning ritual, isn't it? You're so fucking sexy when you're wet." Edward said as he placed the glass next to the lamp.

Edward sure was a sad excuse for a Christian Grey when he opened his mouth but at least if he closes his mouth, he could play the part easily. He is well-built and looked good in a suit.

Well, wasn't Christian accused of being gay in that novel Fifty Shades of Grey?

Hmm. Edward fits in this plot. Definitely.

"Huh?" I almost sneered but I played along, making my voice sound utterly toneless. "You always wake me up with a glass of water and not your exquisite lovemaking, by the way. And you just found me sexy, just today of all days? Isn't that a shame, Mr. Grey?"

"You look mighty fine today as well, Miss Steele. Especially with your just-fucked hair as you lay on the rumpled sheets."

Edward pretended to gag after those 'Christian Grey' lines.

"Thank you, Mr. Grey."

That was when I burst out laughing.

If Edward was cosplaying a book character from the Fifty Shades of Grey then there was no doubt that it's Cosplay Friday today.

Ugh. I want to go back to sleep and hide from the world under the safety of my blankets but here I am, laughing at Edward as my eyes took him in. I keep on laughing until my stomach fucking hurts.

"I don't know what's funnier, Miss Steele. You, still in bed, water dripping from your hair, or--" Edward tipped his head toward me, eyes lingering for a second longer than necessary, "--being late for Ceramic Pottery Class?"

"Holy fucking shit. What time is it?"

"It's quarter to eight." His grey eyes were remarkably clear and calm, like the color of an asphalt road but his responsive smile was so wicked. It's hard to look away. "You only have twenty minutes to be creative."

"Twenty minutes?" My eyes widened in alarm and I rolled out of bed as quickly as possible.

I attacked our walk-in closet with much gusto and singlehandedly fought with the hundreds of Justin's creations on those hangers. I couldn't easily find the space where I put all of my clothes.

It was scattered between Justin's runway creations and the unexplored corners where Edward's clothes were placed since they are off-limits. I'm not the most organized person among the three of us.

In the end, I couldn't find any of the decent clothes I owned or anything that would suit my mood. I raised an eyebrow when I found a yellow velvet fabric with stripes that interests me. It was piled neatly on a shelf and so I grabbed it without a thought.

I got out of the shower and towel-dried my shoulder-length red, curly hair without combing it before hastily putting on my costume for today. It was a Pokémon jumpsuit.

I carefully looked for any holes in the fabric, fixed my Pikachu ears and the tail which looks like a bolt. I turned around and scrutinize myself in the mirror.

"Do I wear make-up or not?" I stared at my face in the mirror, transfixed.

"Nuh-uh, Pikachu. Stop what you're thinking." Edward clutched my arm and dragged me from my bedroom and down the stairs. "It will take you three hours to do your make-up and I'm having none of that."

I saw Justin in the kitchen as he wiped his hands on the towel. He looked up and he flashed me that famous smile of his. Well, well, well. He just finished washing the dishes.

"Sorry about that." I smiled sheepishly as Justin untied his cute polka-dot apron. It was supposedly my turn to do that this morning.

"Stop spoiling this lazy bitch, Justin." Edward glared at me. "She's going to get used to it."

"It's okay. She slept late last night that's why it's understandable that she woke up late." Justin smiled back at me as he strolled over to us in his black button-down shirt and charcoal-gray-pin-striped pants. I noted his large eyeglasses and the fake beard on his jawline.

"UmmWho are you cosplaying?" I asked as Justin sauntered up to me. Honestly, I've got no clue.

"I'll give you a clue." Justin winked as if we were on some joke together. I'm a Hollywood Actor.

My eyes narrowed as I stare at him up and down. "Who?"

"Friends, let's continue this charade at the car." Edward huffed as he pushed Justin and me outside the apartment. "Let's go. We're already late."

"But I haven't eaten yet." I protested.

"I brought food for you." Edward opened the car door and shoved me inside. "You'll survive."
