Chapter 4
"What-" Koshiro was cut off by a person flying towards the man Asami was fighting. Asami looked at Adrian who dragged two people by the back of their collars. "Sorry for being late!" Adrian announced, posing.
Asami and the others looked at Adrian with an uninteresting faces. Adrian laughed nervously. "What?" Asami's eyebrow twitched. "Just where the fucking hell were you? You could've been hurt-" Adrian turned his head, sweating dropping at him getting scolded by Asami. "Hey! I'm talking to you!" Asami grabbed his collar. Asami's eyes glowed. "Listen here you little shit. If you do something like that again I'll kill you with my own two hands, you hear me?" Asami lowly said. Adrian nervously gulped and nodding his head as he understood what would have, at this point his legs gave out and turned into jello. "You get the punishment game when we get back" Asami let go of his collar, Adrian fell on his knees, and put his arm out. "No!! Asami! Please don't! Please!" Adrian cried making Asami glare at him even more. Adrian drifted further away from Asami. "What did we miss?" Kojika stabbed her Spear on the ground. Hiromi ran towards Asami and give her the information she had gathered.
"Okay but it doesn't say anything out of the ordinary" Asami gave Hiromi back her touchpad. "What happened to all of the evidence?" Asami asked Hana who just shrugged. "I don't know. Me and Daniel came here to check out, what this whole fuss was about" Hana said, Asami studied her and found nothing but honestly in her voice. Asami hummed. "Who else has to access this building?" Asami turned to Hana who's eyes widened. "Diego was the only one that had access the other than me and Hana but he died during a mission 3 years ago" Daniel said. Koshiro looked at Hana who templed in anger.
"I'm guessing you two were an item in the past, hmm?" Asami pointed out. Hana whipped her head towards Asami's face. Hana looked at Asami in silence.
"How did you know? Can you minds?"
"By looking at your reaction, I know I'm right and no I can't read minds" Asami spoke with her arms crossed. Everyone looked at Asami with blank expressions. "Who was Diego, anyway?" Kano blurted out loud, which a smack in the head by Koshiro. "Read the room" Koshiro hissed making Kano shrink in fear. "Sorry..." Kano bowed in front of Hana. "It's fine...but it's a long story so I think we should this elsewhere" Hana's eyes turned dark.
Asami looked at her and nodded at Hiromi who got the message. "Got it" Hiromi ran outside with Kojika by her side. Asami turned her attention back to Hana who looked at her confused. "We're taking you back to my place" Asami turned and walked towards the car that was outside the warehouse entrance. "I hope that isn't a bother" Asami looked back at Hana who shallowed a lump in her throat.
