Chapter 33

ISABELLA 

"Tyler," I rasped. It was a miracle that I managed to find enough voice to say that much. I haven't stopped picturing him in my head ever since this afternoon but never did I think he show up out of the blue looking so dastardly handsome in a dark gray three-piece suit, his face rugged with scruff and his eyes hazel. 

"I came looking for you, but had you already left." He broke our gaze to look out the window at the skyline, walking towards me as he says "Is she mine? Your daughter." I laugh bitterly.

I didn't take my eyes off him as he approached and he didn't stop until he was next to me. So close our shoulders would touch if I breath. Why the hell was he here?
