Chapter 24: Apology

Angel's POV:

As the days went by since me and Angel broke up. I miss her but I couldn't stay around and mope. I stoped going to my after school clubs but I started it back up. Me and Angel were around each other but we didn't speak. It was just us walking past each other, not saying a word. I glance at her sometimes but that was it. I've had a string girls come through to my house to help me get over her but none of them hoes compare to her. Some asked for a relationship but I wasn't interested. Angel came by but that was to drop Otis off. I watched her pull off. Otis said she said that she still cares about me. And that he had to talk to me. He said she caught him kissing Tasha. This I needed to know. I told him to not ever kiss Tasha again until he's older. I decided to tell him what kissing could lead to. He was super confused so I gave up. I told him to just let Tasha be and not kiss her. He was upset about not being able to kiss his mate.

I know how he feels but he has to wait. Speaking of waiting, I let Bishop do enough waiting for my decision on leaving to chase after Grey. I wanted to go and take his ass down once and for all. I told him that I wanted in. He said I leave Friday. I had two days left here before I leave. I decided to spend my time fucking bitches and killing targets. When the day came for me to leave, I woke up to a raging headache. Then I ran to the bathroom to throw up. I thought it was because of all these girls coming in my room that maybe one of them gave me something. I used protection of course and made sure they took a morning after pill. I went to doctor the day before and I was clean so I was confused as to why I was throwing up. I thought I had the flu but it wasn't gonna stop me. I packed my bags and carried them downstairs. My Mom and Alison cried because they were gonna miss me. Otis did the same. My Dad said I was doing AA good.

At least I'm not going to Paris blinded. My aunt lived out there so I could stay with her but I had to transfer schools. When I got my last suitcase, I felt sick again. I ran to the bathroom and threw up. "Justin are you sure your okay?" Mom asked. "It's probably the flu. It's not gonna stop me." I said, as I stood up and walked to the door. I put my suitcases in my car and I drove to the airport. My Dad drive behind me to make sure I got there safely. Mom rode with him to get my car to take back home. I would just rode with them but Mom would be crying all over me, begging me not to go. I didn't wanna be around that. I didn't want her embarrassing me at the airport. I pulled up and got out. My Dad helped me with my suitcases and we walked in. As we asked to the check place, the smell of vanilla hit me hard. Angel? I looked but didn't see her. "Dad." I said, looking at him.

"I smell her but I don't see her." He said. I looked around but saw nothing. I looked closer at people but saw nothing. Then I saw a girl with red hair running towards me. Two girls ran behind her. The red head then ran into me and hugged me. "Yo I think you got me mixed up with someone else." I said. She looked up at me and smiled. "Angel?" I asked. She put a finger to her lips. "Angel?" Dad asked. She shushed then pulled us to the restroom. "Justin you can't leave." She said, breathlessly. "Why not?" I asked, irritably. "Justin there's so much you need to know. But it's hard to explain." She said.8 crosses my arms. "Try." I said. "Justin it's really hard." Said a voice. I turned to see Kacey wearing a black wig. Keisha was wearing a orange wig. "Why are y'all wearing wigs?" Dad asked. "You won't believe us." Keisha said. "Let's talk someplace private. Angel?" Kacey said. We were then teleported to an island.

"Angel, are you out of your mind?" Dad cried. "Sorry but we had to get away." She said. "Get away from who?" I asked. "Abby." She said. "Angel, Abby is not here." I said. "Yes She is. She's been spying on me since she left. Sh has someone in AA spying on me. But we can't find out who since everyone hates her." She said. "Turns out she's had two scapegoats and we killed them off. And she knows. There's someone else whose working for her. That person has been stalking Angel for months." Kacey said. "Yeah. Abby threatened to kill someone else if she didn't leave you." Keisha said. "Yeah. Justin I would leave you baby. Abby had someone crash into Keisha's car and because of it, that little girl died. She threatened to kill Keisha, Tasha, and even you if I didn't breakup with you." She said. I was shocked. "Justin I know I should've told you. You were right. I was not okay. I've been worried about her and what she could do if I didn't go through with it. All that stuff I said was not true." Angel said.

"We've come up with a plan to take Abby out. But it's not finished yet. Like we said, Abby has been stalking Angel and she knows our every move. So we wore wigs to throw her off. So we can't be gone too long. She'll up her game." Keisha said. I looked at Angel. "Why didn't you tell me?" I asked. "I wanted to Justin but she threatened to kill you if I didn't breakup with you. She threatened more lives because of me. I wanted you to believe we broke up so she'll believe it too. I didn't think of the idea until after you went home. That's why I went to your house to tell you. But your Mom told me no." She said. "Angel we don't have much longer." Kacey said, looking at her phone. "Okay Justin, Patrick we have a plan to take Abby out but it's not yet ready. I wanted to catch you before you left. I can't tell anyone else about this plan until everything is ready." Angel said. "How did you know Abby had scapegoats and that she was watching you?" Dad asked.

"She began sending pictures and videos of our current locations and sending them to me. Me and Kacey did a psychic thing and we teleported to her hotel room. She didn't see or hear us. We made up a lie about myself to see if the scapegoat would tell her about it." Angel said. "What was the lie?" I asked. "That I would lowkey become a stripper." She said. "Of course she's never do it. Her Dad and Mom would kill her." Keisha said. "She texted me telling me about the lie. But she caught onto our plan so we have a new one." Angel said. "Angel, we have five minutes." Kacey said. "Justin I understand if you don't wanna talk to me ever again. But please, I'm sorry I broke up with you. I'm sorry I said what I said. I didn't mean any of it. It was to get her off my back. I love you so much. I did all of this to keep you alive. If you still wanna leave, I understand." She said, quickly.

I honestly didn't know what to say. She did all this for me. "I honestly don't know what to say." I said. "Well say something quick. We got two minutes." Kacey said. "I'm staying." I said. Angel then kissed me. "Okay. Good. Let's go." Kacey said. Angel then teleported is back to the airport. Me bags were still where I left them. "We'll see y'all later. We gotta go." Keisha said. Angel kissed me again before running off. The three of them ran outside til they were out of sight. "Well son. You got a real one." Dad said. I smiled. "I sure do." I said. We grabbed my suitcases and headed outside. On the way out, I thought about everything they said. She did all of this for me? Like Dad said. She's a real one. I walked to my car and put my suitcases inside. "Honey what are you doing?" Mom asked. "Change of plans." Dad said. "What happened?" She asked. "We'll explain on the way home." I said. I pulled out the parking lot but stopped when I saw a girl looking around.

She looked frustrated. She had a camera in her hands. She then sniffed the air. Is she who was spying on Angel? I stared at her. She then pulled out a phone and called someone. Then she went behind the airport and transformed into a bat and flew off. I shook my head and drove off back home. We pulled up to the house and I got out. I brought my suitcases in and carried them upstairs. Otis and Alison saw me and hugged me. I told them that I decided not to leave. My Dad told my Mom and them what happened. My Mom said she wanted to tell Annie and Bishop so they could be proud of her for thinking of something like this but Dad told her not to. I was actually pretty curious on how Angel could think of something like this. I admit Abby does think ahead of things. It's one of the things I liked about her. She could be in a situation and she's have four different scenarios of how it could end.

After I got done, putting my clothes back, I smelt vanilla. I turned to see Angel standing by my window, smiling. I smiled at her. "I hope you know I'm mad at you for what happened."I said. Her smile faded. "Yeah I know. I don't blame ya. But I had to think of something. Like you say, an assassin has to be quick with their brains." She said. "Yeah I know but that's for killing people, not breakups." I said. "I'm sorry Justin. I should've never broken up with you." She said. I looked at her. She looked upset. I walked over to her and kissed her. I kissed me back. I picked her up and putter on my bed. I put my hand down her shorts. She moaned in my mouth. "Justin?" Called a voice. I quickly got up and moved to the closet. "In-in here." I called. I looked at Angel. My Mom walked in the room. "Telephone." She said, as she handed me the house phone. I answered it.

"Hello?" I asked. "Miss me?" Said a voice. I growled lowly. "Abby why are you-" I paused when Angel snapped her fingers at me. She held a finger up to her mouth. "What?" Abby asked. "I was getting to ask why are you calling me but Otis wants to play games." I said. "I can't call my baby daddy?" She asked. "No. Stop calling me that. And stop tagging me in yo pictures. That probably isn't my baby." I said. "And if it is?" She asked. "If it is, I'd see them." I said. It was silence and I heard shuffling. Angel walked up to me and pressed the speaker button on my phone. "Listen, I heard about Angel breaking up with you." She said. "So?" I said. "And of you and her having sex." She said. Then my phone pinged. I looked down at it to see she sent me something. I opened the text see a video of me and Angel having sex. "So I sent you a little something. And I'd hate to have this appear everywhere on the internet and your parents find out." She said.

I couldn't believe it. "So unless you want me to release this video, you leave Angel alone. I told her to the same shit. I have someone out there watching your every move. So I hear that you two are doing some shit, I will make your lives hell." She continued. "Abby why are you doing this? What did I do to deserve this?" I asked. "Justin I want us to be together. I love you." She said. "No you don't. If you did love me, you wouldn't have cheated on me so many times." I said, angrily. "Your right. And I'm sorry. Justin I want us to be a family. I want your to come down here with me. I want us to be together. No more cheating I promise." She said. "Abby I can't trust you. How do I know you won't take Angel, Keisha, and them out when I get down there! You can't take out anyone as long as I'm not here." I said.

"Justin I swear I won't anyone unless you come down here." She said. I then had an idea. "Abby if I come down there, you promise to leave Angel and them alone?" I asked. "Yes baby." She said. "No bullshit Abby. If I go down there and hear about someone up here got hurt, I'm leaving." I said. "Justin I swear on my life I won't bother anyone. I just want you." She said. I looked at Angel. She had her back to me. "Okay." I said. She cheered. "Your coming down here next Saturday." She said, then hung up. I sighed and looked at Angel. She was sitting down. I walked up and sat next to her. "Angel I said that because I have an idea." I said. She looked at me and smiled. "I know your idea Justin. I can read minds now." She said. She kissed me softly and I held her face. I didn't want to leave her. I love her so much. "Justin, I really want you to want til everything is in place before you leave." She said, quietly.

"Angel I don't trust her. She's sneaky. She can go back on her word." I said. "I know she's sneaky but so am I. I have a plan to bring Abby here to make it easier for us to take her out." She said. I smiled but it faded when I thought of something. "Wait Angel, you cant take out a pregnant chick. Everyone would know it was you since y'all don't like each other." I said. Her smiled faded too. "We totally forgot about her being pregnant. Well we need more time to get everything set up anyway." She said. "What exactly are y'all gonna do?" I asked. She smiled at me. "Well Kacey's grandmother's friend is a witch and she's gonna make an exact copy of me and have her walk around in my place. You copies don't really have an objective unless you give them one." She said. I nodded. "Well since Abby has someone watching me, me disappearing for awhile would give away our plan." She said.

"So we make a copy of you to take your place?" I asked. She nodded. "That Angel will do everything I do. She has to know everything I do during the day and night. But it's not yet ready. One slip up, and Abby will know everything. I ain't gon front. Bitch Really is quick with her brain." She said. I nodded. "So sheer would be during the copy's time?" I asked. "Out looking for Abby. We know she's in a hotel room. We don't know where though. We can't exactly go through things. We can only be in the same room with someone. But I have to be careful. If the person watching me sees two Angels, they'll tell. So me and the copy will have to be separate." She said. "And what will happen once you get Abby?" I asked. She looked at me.

"Well since she's pregnant, we'll just keep her til she gives birth. Then she dies." She said, harshly. "Seems kind of dark to kill the mother of a child so soon." I said. "This coming from an assassin." She said. "Yeah but I never killed a pregnant target. I don't care what Annie says, that's not right." I said. She smiled at me. Then she ran to the bathroom. I ran after her. I saw her throw up. "Oh yeah Angel. I felt real sick these past few weeks. Since me and your emotional connection has developed, I thought maybe you had a stomach bug." I said. "Yeah I think so too. I thought you were sick and you got me sick." She said. Then her phone ringed. She answered it. "Hello?" She asked. Then she rolled her eyes. "lol Abby I did what you wanted. Me and Justin aren't speaking to each other. You said you'd leave me alone....that's not my fault. If she hadn't blown Keisha's cover, the poor girl would still be living....you are such a bitch, I hope you know that....what?....Abby I can't do that. I don't even know how." She said, then she groaned.

"What now?" I asked. "She wants me to find a way to give her the Great Amulet." She said. "What?! We've been told, by the Magic Council, that there's no way to get it out of you." I said. "Yeah but she said she found a way. I'm a witch I have to study up on something she found." She said. Then she sighed. "Let me go back home before the hoe realizes I'm not in bed." She said, as she headed towards the window. I grabbed her and kissed her passionately. I was going to miss her. "I love you Angel." I said, softly. She kissed me again. "I love you too Justin." She said, then she transformed into a bat and flew out the window. Then she turned into a dragon and flew off. I watched her. Her white dragon scales were glistening in the sunlight. I shook my head. I'm so glad Angel said her apology today. I'd hate to have to leave with us on bad terms. After that, I texted Bishop that I didn't go to Paris but I will have to leave to go live with Abby. I decided to tell him about Angel and Kacey's plan.

I made him swear not to say anything about it to anyone else. I took my shower, ate some food, told my family what happened, and went to play video games with Mike. We played games til time for AA. We met up with the girls and Angel, Kacey, and Keisha told him all about our plan. I was to leave for Abby next Saturday. I wanted to make the most of it when I was here.
