King Goblin
The entire village of Rose was surrounded by a vast forest that stretched beyond the horizon, despite this forest harboring thousands of species of beasts within it, the occurrence of an animal invading the village was very rare.
Before settling down there, wild beasts were a problem Rose would inevitably have to deal with, and the solution to that problem was to grow flowers that give off an unpleasant beast smell. All the villagers had these flowers adorning some vases in their homes, and they also had them planted throughout the village to keep everything under control.
Wandering through the forest Ethan had some incense sticks attached to his body emitting a scent similar to those of these flowers. Although some animals still ignore this scent because they see Ethan as a piece of meat, he naturally saved himself a lot of trouble by equipping himself with these incenses. Without them, it was very likely that the concentration of beasts around them would be several times greater.

Without much difficulty, Ethan slashed twice with his dagger and killed two beasts lurking in the shadows. These Piercing Serpents were very small critters that were hiding in some random bushes and tree branches, the important thing about them was that their head was pointed like an arrowhead and whenever someone got close they would try to pierce the heart of that person or animal. .
'Apparently the incense can't repel all animals... in fact the concentration of this scent on me doesn't even compare to the concentration of the village so maybe they have already developed some resistance.' Ethan thought to himself.

The system was a skill that behaved like an RPG game, with the slight difference that it acted in real life instead of a simple game. Apparently this was the gift given to Ethan due to his reincarnation, he didn't know why, but of all people, he was chosen to wield such power.

If some animals saw lives as food, the system saw lives as experience points, if the system wanted some sort of relentless genocide to feed them, then it really wasted its time clinging to Ethan.
The dagger blade slid under the body of a wolf-like beast, slicing through its body from top to bottom like a hot knife through butter.

Dealing with the beasts of that place was being easier than Ethan thought at first, obviously he had prepared himself physically to be there and it also took a few days to get familiar with the dagger in his hand, however, even his father when exploring that place. place didn't avoid an injury or two. That enter led directly to a cold and dark cave, there must have been some source of water nearby judging by the numerous leaks spreading across the ceiling of the place, in addition Ethan noticed some rotten fruit scattered all over the place along with pieces of wood and structures circular of iron.
There wasn't much time to inspect the place. Followed by some high-pitched grunts, two goblins stepped out of the shadows and glared at Ethan. On closer inspection, there were characteristics of the Goblins that some books didn't list, things like abnormally large and sharp teeth, locks of hair all over their bodies, and the little men's bad fashion sense.
"Hey you bitches! I came to thank you for what you did in my village. "Ethan's eyes flashed with anger.
Swinging the dagger at the two Goblins, Ethan parted their heads causing them to fall to the ground with a thud. The Goblins didn't even have a chance to realize how they lost their lives.

Wasting no time, Ethan went deeper into the cave, he had a goal there and he didn't want to lose it in any way. If Ethan failed there, it is unknown if he would be able to forgive himself, slapping his cheeks he kept walking while muttering to himself:

The architecture of the place was not very complex, basically every cave consisted of an irregular corridor that descended in a slope leading to an immense underground space. Making his way through the Goblins scattered along this corridor, Ethan still had time to reach level 7 before he glimpsed underground space.
The place didn't have much detail, just a few natural pillars that rose from floor to ceiling supporting the weight of the place. Already the mess there far surpassed what Ethan had ever seen, the pattern of the mess was the same as the hallways, but in proportions several times greater. The rotten smell inside could make anyone throw up.
In fact, what caught Ethan's attention was the amount of Goblins in the place and one Goblin in particular, this one was almost two meters tall and shared the same characteristics as the other Goblins except for his sharp eyes that glowed red and a complexion physics robust. It didn't take a genius to realize this was the leader.
"Well, well..." The Goblin said in a hoarse voice. "I never thought I'd see you here... Eton!"
"I thought you were trying to imitate a kid back then, but it sounds like you're really dumb..." Ethan started to unroll the shotgun strapped to his back. "Well, I don't plan on staying long, but… you went to such lengths to give us a going away gift, so I was afraid I wouldn't return the favor." Ethan finally held the gun in his hands.
"Kehehehe what do you think you're going to do with that human weapon? Do you have enough bullets for everyone here? Better, would you be able to shoot before you die?" The Goblin laughed.
"You seem full of questions, huh, Goblin King… in that case, I'll ask mine. Tell me, did you like the taste of these fruits?"
At that moment Ethan smiled and pointed to the few wreckage of barrels in the middle of the whole place.

The gun went off making the wreckage spread even more, in addition a flame started to rise from the place where the shot had hit and spread in all directions taking several Goblins by surprise.
