I went straight to sleep once again, once I went inside the tent ignoring the others and hitting on of the cots set up inside. I was having a dream that turned into a nightmare, I was back home waking up to the smell of bacon and the sound of it sizzling.


I got out of bed in my anime boxers and put on a pair of black shorts and a red shirt with a man holding a sword on it. I walked out into the hallway, to hear laughter and voices near the kitchen. I reached the end of the hallway and took a left, and there they were, both of my siblings that are usually away in different states are here to visit for my 18th birthday.

We hugged and sat down on our chairs and began to talk about our lives. My brother had just received a promotion in his Tech Job, and my sister was offered a manager job in New York also in the Tech Industry. For me, same old boring stuff, average grades in school and hobbies that were taking me nowhere.


My mother finished breakfast and started to lay down the plates with full of food to all of us and herself. My father was not in the picture, he disappeared a few years back with unknown origin, the police case was closed and ruled as a death, we were given no chance, the police were in a hurry.


As we began to eat and laugh with smiles on our faces, the room began to shrink and become darker. The walls became to decompose and the smiles on the faces of my family members were becoming sinister with horrifying faces. I jumped out of my chair and fell on the floor, all three of them got up from their chairs and began to walk towards me with knives in their hands.


As I began to backup further away from them, their bodies began to transform into monsters, then horns began to appear on their forehead. They began to talk in a language I could not understand, until a few words were understandable.

After they stopped talking to me, they ran towards me and jumped on me, the demon with five horns got to me first and grabbed my head and opened its mouth. It forces my mouth opened and a black aura slipped inside my mouth and my eyes went black.


And that's when I woke up, sweating and panting, I stood up and put my hands on my forehead, feeling the burning sensation.
