Running into Trouble

ORC Headquarters

(Y/N)'s POV

After the complete white had faded away, I realized I was in the ORC clubroom. I then realized that I had left Asia behind, alone with that Freed freak and fallen angels.

"No...No No No No NO NO!!!" I yelled as I tried to break free from Koneko's grip she had on me. "LET ME GO!!!" I yelled again as I yanked my arm free. I was finally able to move, but not much as there was still a bullet lodged in my leg.

"Send me back." I said in anger. "Damn it, send me back! I can't just leave her there!" I said while looking back at everyone with tears in my eyes.

"I'm sorry (Y/N), but President's orders." Akeno said, while completely avoiding eye contact.

"Rias please, you have to send me back." I begged.

"I'm sorry, but I can't let you in the condition you're in. You're completely exhausted and your heart nearly gave out again." She callously stated with worry in her eyes.

Everyone just remained silent, waiting for someone to say something and break the thick and awkward atmosphere of the room.

"Fine..." I said, causing everyone to look at me confusingly.

"What?" Issei asked.

"If you won't send me back with magic, then I'll just go back on my own." I said as I turned around and proceeded to leave, completely ignoring my wounds. By the time I reached the door, my heart stopped again. But this time was different, my body began feeling numb at an alarmingly faster rate than normal. It was getting worse. 'No, damn it NOT NOW!!! Please...' I began to lose consciousness and began to fall to the floor, darkness completely clouding my vision. 'No...'

3rd Person POV

(Y/N) had collapsed once again, at a faster rate than any other time previous. His body simply laid motionless at the entrance of the ORC club room.

"(Y/N)!" Issei called out to his friend as he rushed over to his side. He lifted him up in his arms and tried shaking him awake, but not no avail. "President, please! You have to help him!" He begged.

Rias rushed over to her servants, waving her hand slowly over the motionless young devil, sighing in relief. "It's okay, he's just unconscious. He just ran out of magical energy and passed out due to exhaustion." Rias calmly stated. "You can put him on the couch, he'll be staying here tonight." She ordered.

Issei calmly nodded and threw (Y/N)'s arm over his shoulder once more and struggled to move his friend to the nearest couch. Koneko then came over to help. They eventually make it and place the unconscious black and white-haired boy gently down on the couch.

While he laid there everyone took a moment to look at the current situation.

"President..." Issei called out, suddenly gaining her attention. "I'm sorry you had to deal with that. It's just...once he sets his mind to something he tends to completely focus on it. No matter what."

"I see..." Rias said in acceptance. She then turned around and walked to her desk chair, sitting down and holding her hand to her forehead, sighing in exhaustion. "We're done for today, you can all go home." She ordered.

"Yes President." Everyone said in unison, resulting in everyone leaving for the night, leaving the red-haired beauty and the unconscious black and white-haired devil servant alone. She rose up from her chair and walks over to (Y/N). She leaned down and gently moved a few strands of hair out of his face.

'(Y/N)...I do hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me. I had no choice...Guess I'll just have to wait for him to wake.' She thought as she rose up and walked over to a nearby closet and opened the doors. She then pulled out a rather large blanket, walked back to (Y/N) and gently put the blanket over him. She ruffled his hair gently before walking out of the room, leaving the sleeping black and white-haired boy alone to sleep, recover, and hopefully...forgive.

(Y/N)'s POV

As my sight was completely engulfed in darkness, I felt content, which just made me feel more anxious in wanting to wake up. I did what I could to open my eyes, but as I did I felt incredibly weak. But every second I tired to wake, the more light came pouring inside. Eventually, my eyes had opened completely and all I saw was the ceiling of the ORC clubroom.

'What?... Why am I-' I began to think, but looked down and saw the blanket that laid on top of me. I pulled it off and saw that my leg was wrapped in bandages.

"That's right." I said before getting a vision of Asia, teary-eyed and covering herself. "ASIA!!!" I yelled as I tried to rush out of the bed to make a rescue attempt. As I soon learned, that was a poor decision, but it was mine to make as I fell to the ground, now writhing in pain. But soon after colliding with the ground. The door to the club room opened. I slowly and weakly looked up and saw everyone looking at me.

"Dude! You're Awake!" Issei cried in excitement, looking at his barely conscious friend on the floor.

"And writhing in pain. A little help, please?" I said gruffly.

"O-Oh right. Kiba, can you give me a hand?" Issei asked the blonde boy next to him.

"Sure." He replied.

The two ran over to me and both grabbed an arm and placed each one over their shoulder for support.

"Thanks." I simply said.

"Well now that you're awake, let's get you all patched up." Rias states with a smile. But I was in no mood to deal with her right now. I'm still pissed that she didn't let me go save Asia.

"Kiba, Issei, take (Y/N) to the shower room." She ordered.

"I can walk myself, thank you very much." I replied coldly. I moved out of the supported hold I was in and managed to stand on my own two legs. I then turned around and began walking towards the shower. "I was going to go into the shower anyways...or tried to at least." I lied before entering the shower.

'Well shit, there goes that rescue attempt.' I thought to myself. I soon began undressing by taking off my shirt, and I noticed that I had bandages wrapped diagonally across my torso and back. I gently removed them and tossed them to the side. Now standing in the shower with just my pants, socks and shoes, I held out my hand and tried summoning anything magical I could. "Oath Maker." I called out. Thankfully it had appeared in my hand. My magical energy was back. Not completely, but enough were I can summon a Sacred Gear. I released it and it disappeared in its bright light. I continued disrobing and began folding my clothes neatly before starting the shower.

"Hey sweetie?" I heard Akeno call from outside.

"What?" I replied.

"I'll take your clothes for you if you'd like. They should be done cleaning by the time you're finished in there." She stated sweetly.

It took me a while to even think about answering her, 'cause I was mad at her too. But the more I try and reflect this anger onto the others, the more I realized I should be mad at myself. Besides, I couldn't even fight off a psychotic priest. My teachers and Starvlador would be ashamed.

"Sure...thanks." I answered by placing them near the floor around the nearest corner outside I was against.

After that, I began cleaning off the filth I collected from last night. Once that was said and done, I grabbed the nearest towel around and wrapped it around my waist, hoping nothing would show. But before I could wrap it around me, someone completely unexpected came walking in. They were completely naked and looked like they had no problem letting anyone see. Me on the other hand...

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?! I'M STILL IN HERE YOU KNOW!!!" I yelled trying to cover my package. But before anything else, I looked away so I wouldn't see anything I shouldn't.

"I said I was going to heal you silly. " Rias stated.

"No, you said 'Let's get you patched up.' I DON'T THINK WHATEVER YOU'RE TRYING TO DO IS IN THAT CONTEXT!!!" I yelled.

"Well like I said before, I can only heal you through skin on skin contact." She informs with her casual smile. She looked to the side and walked in that direction. She leaned down and picks up a stool and walks back, placing it in the middle of the shower. "Now come, sit." She ordered.

Seeing no way out of this, I gave in. Besides, the faster I do this, the faster I can make a plan to save Asia. "O-Okay." I said as I slowly walked over to the stool and take my seat. I sat in the other direction and keep my eyes closed, I then felt a soft squishy feeling on my back and a gently caressing hand my chest, which soon began to feel warm. 'Rias said that she healed through skin on skin contact. Guess this is what she meant.' I thought. And just like that, all of the remaining pain that lingered from the day previous vanished entirely.

I felt her hand move off of my chest and her body off of my back. She finished the healing process and finally let me go. "Alright, all done." She stated.

"Thanks." I simply replied. I quickly tied the towel I grabbed earlier around my waist and I rose up and walked out, only to be met by a perverted looking Issei.

"Dude! Did you see anything?! Did you touch anything?! YOU'VE GOT TO TELL ME!!!" He shouted.

I was in no mood to deal with his pervertedness either, so I simply glared at him. "Issei, I am in no mood to deal with your perverted bullshit right now. So unless you don't want to get a rage-filled ass whopping, you'll get out of my face and leave me alone." I spoke coldly with venom seeping through every word.

"O-Oh...S-Sorry." He nervously stated as he moved out of the way.

"(Y/N), sorry but your clothes are still drying right now. But since you have some time left, why don't we patch you up?" Akeno asked as she smiled and clapped her hands.

"In what context are you referring when you say 'patch me up'?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"With bandages silly boy." She giggled.

"That's fine I guess." I said as I walk over to the nearest couch. Once there, she joined me and began wrapping bandages around the wounded areas.

"You should relax a bit more (Y/N)." She said. "Those bullet wounds may have healed, but the effects will still linger for a bit. Blessed bullets aren't something to mess with, especially from an exorcist." She informed as she continued to wrap bandages around my wounds.

"Freed..." I said before scoffing. "Please, that stray freak is nothing. I've dealt with worse." I informed.

"Um...what are stray exorcists exactly?" Issei asked.

"Stray exorcists are a many bunch who have gotten the boot from the church. Having nothing left, they look for fallen angels to serve." Kiba replied.

"Woah, you're not saying this Asia girl is from the same camp that dick is." Issei objected.

Before anyone could answer Issei, Rias emerged from the shower with a towel on and nothing else. "We're not saying anything Issei. We are devils and for whatever reason, she is the servant of a fallen one. Those are the facts." She said.

'Fuck those facts.' I thought, sending an unfriendly scowl towards Rias. "You say that like she's nothing, so I'd appreciate it if you would stop talking about her like that."

"Are you questioning your place (Y/N)?" Rias asked with a stern gaze.

"Who knows." I simply replied. After that exchange, Akeno finished patching up my wounds and I immediately stood up. "Thanks for the bandages Akeno." I said to her before walking away.

"You're welcome." She replied.

"Hey dude, wait for me!" Issei called out, hoping I would stop.

"Issei, I'm sorry that I snapped at you like that. I...just have a lot on my mind at the moment." I say.

"(Y/N)..." Issei uttered.

"If you guys don't need me for anything else...I'm going home." Say before grabbing my clothes by the door and leaving the room, making my way home.

3rd Person POV

The remainder of the club looked amongst each other in concern after what had just happened.

"It's been a long time since I've seen him like this. He's mostly so chill and open about everything." Issei fretted in concern for his friend.

"It doesn't really seem like there's anything we can do for him right now." Koneko stated as she crossed her arms.

"Come on!" Issei whined. "We can't just leave him moping around like this! There's gotta be something we can do...Right?" He asked.

"Issei, as much you want to help we'll only worsen the situation. We all know how he is. If bothered more, he can surely hurt someone severely, maybe even kill." Rias stated, trying to keep her cool.

"But what if he goes rogue...becomes a stray?" Issei asked, suddenly looking horrified by the mere thought.

Everyone looks at each other the possibility of what can happen if (Y/N) were to become a stray. Rias feeling the worst out of all them.

(Y/N)'s Home

As everyone else continued their day, (Y/N) stayed at home, laying on his bed and looked up at the ceiling.

"God damn it! I fucking hate this!" He yelled while slamming his hand over his head. "I have all this power and I can't even save one friend?! GOD I'M SO PISSED AT MYSELF!!!" He yelled enraged. "I'm so fucking pathetic." He murmured to himself. He suddenly shot up from his bed and clenched his fists tightly. "GAH!!!" He cried. "Just laying here and doing nothing isn't going to accomplish anything damn it! It's time to take the initiative and make a move." He yelled as he adorned more casual looking clothes and headed outside.

Park

As he continued to walk, he eventually reached a hilltop that showed the church in clear view. As soon as he spotted the building, he immediately began to think of a plan to get Asia out and away from the fallen angels.

'I don't care if I become a stray. Nor do I care about having to be killed if that happens...I'll get Asia back with force if I have to.'

"Eh...They probably wouldn't be able to kill you, you know." Starvlador states.

'What are you talking about?' He asked.

"Well, your magic energy is fully restored and then some, you could just go in there guns blazing and you wouldn't even get killed!"

'That may be true, but for something like this,  I need a plan. If I just charge straight in there without a plan, Asia's life could be in more danger than it is, was, or will be.' He informed the Azure Dragon Emperor, awaiting a response...But nothing. Until...

"You know, ever since you met Rias I've seen you grown rather fond of her. You may not admit it, but I can see it. Why not have a powerful lover?" He questioned, completely changing the topic entirely.

"W-What?! What the hell are you talking about?! Quit making shit up!" (Y/N) yelled back, feeling naturally embarrassed.

"(Y/N)...I've known you almost your whole life. I practically raised you... I know when you're lying." Starvlador states, causing the boy to feel even more embarrassed. Which definitely showed as his cheeks began to turn bright red.

"(Y/N) it's you." A familiar voice calls out from behind him. Naturally surprised, he quickly turned around and see the person he had failed to save.

"A-Asia?" (Y/N) asked, nervously and full of surprise.

Fast Food Restaurant

The two who had recently reunited were at a fast-food restaurant. But for some reason, Asia looked somewhat uneasy, like she didn't know what to do.

"Trust me, there's no other way." Said the black and white-haired boy.

"There isn't?" Asia asked.

"Yep. Trust me I've tried." He replied. He then grabbed the food in front of him and began peeling off the wrapper, revealing a nice, juicy burger. Once a good portion of the burger was revealed, he took a huge bite out of it and made the burger only half of what it once was.

"Oh, well...if that's the supposed way, here goes." She says cheerfully as she unwraps the burger. She looked at the boy across from her for a moment, but soon took a small bite out of it. "Oh my! It's so yummy." She said in absolute delight.

"Right?" (Y/N) asked with a happy smile. The two continued their meal and enjoyed it and the time they were spending together. After they had finished, they began to talk to each other. "So Asia..." she then reverts her eyes back to the boy in front of her. "What were you doing in the park?" He asked.

Asia began to answer him, but still looked hesitant. "Well the weather was perfect and I thought it'd be nice to go out and enjoy the weather." She then stared at the table blushing. "And I thought I saw you talking to yourself and it was you, so my day got even more fun, yay!" She finished with a small smile.

"Uh-huh...Well in that case. Since you're free, would you like to hangout?" (Y/N) asked.

Arcade

Once the two finished having lunch, the two spent the rest of the afternoon together at the arcade. Asia and (Y/N) played many games together. From racing games to a dancing game and even taking a photo together, the two felt the happiest either of them had ever felt in a long time. As the two continued walking through the rest of the building, Asia noticed something and ran towards it. (Y/N) noticed this and followed her to a claw machine. Inside were stuffed animals, yellow mouse-like creatures with black stripes, long tails, and big brown eyes. She stared into the glass box with her hands pressed against it and eyes full of stars.

"You okay there Asia?" (Y/N) asked, naturally curious.

In response to the suddenly calling of her name, Asia tensed up a bit before replying. "Huh? Oh, yes I'm fine no big deal." She replied, trying to play it off. But knowing better, (Y/N) stared at the claw machine with the stuffed animals then back at her and smiled.

"I take it you like stuffed animals?" He asked.

"Oh no, not at all. Well sort of..." She said as she lowers her head trying to hide her blush. "Yes." she finally admitted.

(Y/N) chuckled lightly at the blonde nun's cute attempt of hiding her blush. He then looked at the machine and put some change in it, which brought it to life as lights danced and music played. "Don't tell anyone, but a friend of mine sometimes makes me spend hours on end at this place." (Y/N) stated jokingly. Once the machine grabbed a stuffed animal, he brought it to the drop spot and grabbed it for Asia, who he soon gave it.

"Oh wow, thank you so much (Y/N). From now on every time I look at him I'll think of how much of a blessing meeting you is."

Asia's kind words caused (Y/N) smile. "It's no problem. Come on there's still more to do!" He waved at her and she follows soon.

Asia hugged the brown and yellow mouse (Y/N) had won for her and gave a solemn smile before whispering something. "Thank you. This is truly special...even if it's only for today."

Riverside

Time grew on and the morning soon became afternoon. Having the heat temperature suddenly making things extremely hot made both the black and white-haired boy and the blonde nun thirsty. He decided to stop and bought her a cool beverage and one for himself as well.

"You know...I can't remember the last time I had so much fun." Asia stayed smiling.

"That's great to hear. I had some fun myself too." (Y/N) stated as he took a large gulp of his drink. Unfortunately, some of his wounds started burning in pain.

Asia, quickly took notice of this and began to look worried. "Is it your wound from yesterday when you...stood up for me?" She asked, sounding upset.

"Y-Yeah..." (Y/N) admitted, but smiled nervously and tried to wave it off. "B-But it's okay! I heal fast, so it shouldn't be a problem." He reassured her.

The next thing he knew, he was sitting on a bench near a lake as Asia hovered her hands around (Y/N)'s injures, feeling the wounds heal.

"Is that better?" She asked.

"Yeah it does. A million times better in fact." He replied. "Thank you so much Asia!" (Y/N) added with a happy smile, which she happily returned.

She then sits down next to him and the two began looking out towards the scenery in front of the two of them.

"Hey (Y/N)?"

"Hm?" (Y/N) asked, giving Asia his full attention.

"Can I tell you something?" She asked, sounding somewhat serious.

"Of course. What's on your mind?"

"You see, when I was a baby...I was abandoned by my real parents. They left me in front of a church in a small town in Europe. I was told, when they found me I wouldn't stop crying, the sweet nuns there brought me up. Then one night, when I was about eight, a sad little puppy who was hurt real bad found it's way to the church where I lived. I prayed as hard as I could, begging God to spare him and when I did, a miracle happened... Because of my power, I was immediately taken to a larger church. Men and women around the world would visit me when they were injured or sick, I was told to heal all of them. The idea that I possessed this thing that could help other people made me so happy, I finally felt like I had a purpose. Then one night, I came across someone who had fallen and was in bad shape. I was able to heal him...but he wasn't a man." She then began remembering all the terrible things people shouted at her in her past. 'The girl has the power to heal devils! She's a witch! Burn her!' "They said anyone with my kind of power was a heretic, so I ran away." Asia finished her story and (Y/N) felt heartbroken.

"Even after everything you did for them?! What a bunch of selfish bast-I mean jerks!" (Y/N) caught himself before making himself look crude in front of his friend. "So is that why you joined the fallen angels?" He questioned.

"Yes...But I'll never forget who I am. I say my prayers and try my best to live a good life. But they're awful, they do such horrible and evil things all in the name of God...This suffering has to be a test of my faith but if I can overcome these trials I can finally fulfill my hopes and dreams."

"Oh yeah? And what dream is that?"

"To make lots of lifelong friends. To get to know them well and do cool things. To be able to have fun with each other and care for each other. Sounds silly I know...and honestly, I'd be happy to have any friends."

(Y/N) looked at her with a rather determined expression. He stood up and walked over near the lake.

"Is something wrong?" Asia asked.

"You know...I feel like we're somewhat alike in that regard." He states, making Asia somewhat confused.

"What do you mean?"

"I was abandoned by my parents when I was young too...Not too young though. It happened when I was about four years old. One day they just vanished, no trace of them anywhere to be found. But that didn't stop me, I kept looking day and night for any clues to finding them. But eventually, I gave up. I was too tired, too exhausted from looking for what seemed like nothing. I eventually ended up crying and somehow found myself in a big open field, far away from home. But...that's when I met someone. Someone who took me in. They raised me and taught me so much. And eventually, I made friends. I can hardly stand some of them from time to time, but I know they have kind hearts and that's all that really matters."

"Oh (Y/N)..." Asia smiled as she tried to hold back her tears.

(Y/N) suddenly turned back to Asia and gave her a reassuring smile. "No matter what anyone else says, I'm your friend." He declaimed. "After all we've been through together, how could we not?" He asked. "Besides, I'd say we gotten to know each other pretty well wouldn't you say?" (Y/N) said as he managed to blush a bit. "Plus I won you that stuffed animal...so there's that..." (Y/N) smiled as he laughed lightly. "Listen, I really do care about you Asia." He finished, making a tear slide down Asia's smiling face, but she quickly wiped it away.

"We can't." The blonde nun declared. "I care about you too (Y/N), but we can't. It's forbidden and I don't want to cause anything that will hurt you. I want you to live your own dream too."

"Well it doesn't matter to me what's forbidden we're friends, if somebody has a problem they have to deal with me." (Y/N) proclaimed as slammed one of his fists into an open palm, resulting in a loud smack that echoed throughout the area.

Asia laughed in a friendly manner at (Y/N)'s response. "Really?" She asked.

"Yeah." He nodded with a smile. "I promise."

"Well..." a new voice emerges from behind the two young teens, followed by the sound of a drop. "Isn't this sweet."

(Y/N) expression went from caring to one of worry. He quickly turned around to look for the source of the familiar voice. As he did, he immediately saw the one who had tried to kill him the first time. Those unforgettable black feathered wings and extremely revealing outfit. He knew who it was. Raynare, standing in the middle of the lake.

"It's been a while hasn't it?" She asked, casually smiling.

"You...what do you want?" (Y/N) asked in a threatening tone as he stood in front of Asia in hopes of protecting her from any harm.

"Ah Asia..." Raynare called out, making her stand up as she hid behind (Y/N). "So the rumors are true, you've spiraled down into the wickedness of devildom. And I had such high hopes."

"B-Begone! I want no part of the evil you or the other fallen angels are up to!" Asia yelled. "I'm sorry...but I ran away. (Y/N) I couldn't stand being around them anymore!" She said as she began to shed tears.

"No need to apologize. I'm actually proud of you." He states reassuringly.

"Really?"

"Of course, you're too good for those wannabe harpies anyways. You don't belong with the likes of them." (Y/N) stated with a smile before looking back at Raynare, giving her a menacing glare. "So Raynare, what is it you want?"

Raynare simply chuckled at his question. "Self-centered eh?" She asked mockingly. "My business does not include you, mortal bug. But since you're here, I might as well take care of some unfinished business." As she finished she summons a red spear of light in her hands.

(Y/N) looks at the spear and simply laughs.

"What's wrong? Sanity finally sink in? Or did yours simply break?" Raynare asked coldly.

"You really think you have a chance of beating me? Last time we fought, someone else had to step in because you were having trouble...Do you honestly think you have any chance of beating me now?" (Y/N)'s harsh words successfully reached Raynare's ears, and it definitely showed. Her expression turned into one of anger.

"Why you..." She began to say before summoning another spear of light in her free hand. "I'll kill you where you stand!" She yelled.

"Oh yeah? By the way...that line...154." (Y/N) states cockily before extending out his right hand. "Oblivion!" He shouted, summoning his black sword in his hand from the black smoke and violet sparks that surrounded it.

"WHAT?! You had a white one before! What happened to that?!" She yelled, feeling more fearful of her life.

"Hate to tell you crow wings, but I've got two Sacred Gears. Guess that's why you were sent to kill me, huh?"

Raynare had no response for (Y/N) other than a loud growl. She flew up into the air and straight in view of the sun. (Y/N) unfortunately followed her and ended up blinding himself from the sunlight. In a mere instant, he felt Raynare's presence behind him and Asia.

'Oh shit!' He thought before quickly looking back. Thinking only about Asia and her safety, he grabbed her arm and pulled her the side, making Raynare's attack hit him in the gut instead of his friend. In response to the spear of light piercing his body, his body began to feel as though he was on fire, burning from the inside.

But with little to no time to react, Raynare pierced the ground in front of (Y/N) and flew off. The spear of light then exploded, sending the black and white-haired boy back into the hollow pond.

"(Y/N)!" Asia cried out in fear for her friend's life.

(Y/N) struggled to get himself out of the water, as he began to lose even more amounts of blood thanks to it flowing into the water.

As Asia looked on in horror of her new friend being in such pain, she began to stand and run to his aid, but was stopped by Raynare.

She stood beside the nun and blocked her path with one of her wings. "That may have injured him but it won't kill him." Raynare states. "If I wanted to I could've easily dealt a fatal blow. Your friend would've shattered into millions of pieces. I'll spare him you know...if you agree to come with me." She says, only getting a slightly angered look from Asia. Raynare's eye twitched in response to this, but kept her cool and spoke to her once again. "At this rate, you'll be nothing but a nuisance to him. He can't very well protect you and himself now can he?" She asked.

"THE HELL I CAN'T!!!" (Y/N) yelled, resulting in him coughing up blood. "Asia, don't listen to her! Don't go!"

The sight of Asia's friend being in such pain, and possibly more broke her heart. So much...that she gave in.

"I'll go with you." She agreed. Asia then rose up from the ground and walks over to Raynare's, who then embraces her with her large, black-feathered wings. She caresses Asia's cheek and begins to chuckle. "Good girl...No need to fret, after the big ritual tonight all your worries and troubles will be gone forever..." Raynare's words caught (Y/N)'s attention, as his eyes widened in fear over the possibility of what might happen.

"I'll see you soon (Y/N)." Raynare called out, looking at him with a cocky smile.

"No, don't go! ASIA!!!" He called out trying to reach for her.

Asia simply smiles with tears in her eyes. "Goodbye friend. I'll miss you." She said, causing his heart to shatter from the overwhelming feeling of helplessness and despair.

The two simply vanish from thin air, leaving behind a small pile of black feathers.

As (Y/N) looked on in horror at the sight of the black feathers in the ground, his mind slowly began to process what had just happened. "No." He states quietly, before tears start to form in his eyes. "NO..." He says louder, now clearing his fists hard enough for blood to leak from them. "GOD DAMN IT NOOOOOOOO!!!" He roared to the sky as loud as he could, causing the area around him to shake, crack and break around him by the sheer power he was putting out from his rage. Eventually, the whole area became engulfed in a deep black aura, which then shot up into the sky like a pillar. After some time had passed, the black pillar of magical energy faded, now leaving the once before lake view park, now a massive crater, with (Y/N) standing in the middle.

After taking heavy breaths to calm himself, a single black feather that had survived the massive blast and then lands in front of (Y/N). He looks at it with an agreed expression and leans down to grab it. Once he did, he clenched it in his hand tightly. "I swear, you're gonna regret ever screwing with me Raynare. I promise, next time I see you, I'll make you suffer."

Time Skip

A noise cracking slap could be heard from the ORC building as it's members watch as their friend received a vicious slap by Rias. Yet with everything that's happened, he could care less. Losing Asia twice was enough to deal with.

"Let me try this one more time...If I tell you don't, you don't. So you have to forget about Asia? You're a member of the Gremory Family now." Rias states all at once, not letting her disobedient servant have a chance to speak.

"Then release me from your household because after everything I've been through with Asia I refuse to just let her go!" (Y/N) responds.

"I'm sorry, but I can't do that." Rias defiantly states.

"Then I'll do it myself." (Y/N) says, making everyone else in the room look shocked to some extent. "I could care less if I become a stray, I'd do it for Asia. And if you've lived a single day in my shoes you wouldn't either because you'd understand!" The defiant boy yells.

"Dude..." Issei muttered silently.

"So erase my memory or kill me. Either way, someone's gonna end up dead."

"(Y/N) THAT'S ENOUGH!!! These past couple days you've been disobeying orders. But since something has come up, my...brother has requested my presence and wishes to speak with me. Akeno will be joining me." Rias informed before they both begin standing in the transportation rune. Before disappearing, Rias looks at (Y/N). "(Y/N), I expect you to behave and obey this time. We'll discuss your punishment later." She sais before they disappeared completely.

"Hope it's disowning me." (Y/N) said before making his way to the door.

"Uh dude, what are you doing?" Issei asked.

(Y/N) ignored him and reached for the door handle.

"Hey! Don't brush me off!" Issei yelled as he placed a hand on (Y/N)'s shoulder. "What are you-" He was cut off when, in response to his past action, (Y/N) grabbed Issei's arm and throws him against the wall and grabs him by the neck.

"You're not gonna stop me. I'm going to get Asia back." He declared with cold and lifeless eyes.

"I wa-sn't going to, I was goi-ng to go with you." Issei said as he gasped for air

"Wait...what?" (Y/N) asked confusingly before letting go.

"And so am I." Kiba stated.

Upon reaction to the new voice, (Y/N) turns and saw Kiba with his sword drawn out and on his belt.

"So what? You guys spying on me for Rias?" The black and white-haired boy asked, looking unamused as he crossed his arms.

"No, on the contrary. You could probably use some backup. Who knows how many fallen angels there could be." Kiba says wholeheartedly.

"And you Koneko?" (Y/N) asked, seeing Koneko approach the group of boys preparing to set out and save Asia.

"It gets really boring here." She plainly stated with her deadpan expression.

Having no other options at this point, (Y/N) sighs and gave in. "Okay. Thank you you guys, it means a lot to me." He then looks at Issei, who is still on the floor and offers him a hand up. "I'm sorry Issei."

Before he could continue, Issei grabs his hand and simply smiles. "Bro it's all good. I know how you get. And I also know there no stopping you. So...let's do this thing!"

(Y/N) smiles warmly at his friend's upbeat attitude. He then opens his hands and summons his two swords, Oath Maker and Oblivion for a few seconds before disappearing again. "Well then, luckily for us, I have a hunch on where exactly they're gonna be." He smiles cockily before reaching for the door again. Everyone exits the building and begins heading for the church.

"You know, I don't think you ever came up with a plan on actually getting her back." Starvlador reminded.

'I'll think of something on the way there.' (Y/N) responds through his mind.

"Well let's hope so. Because if you die, I die." Starvlador states.

'Yea, but you'll be reincarnated in someone else. I won't.'

Starvlador simply scoffs at (Y/N)'s response. "We'll see about that."

(Y/N)'s POV

As all four of us made our way to the church, I had successfully come up with a plan. Before we reached the church, I called everyone to huddle up

and explain my plan.

"Okay, so I think I've got an idea on how to get inside the church without any problems." I stated.

"Yea? And what's that?" Koneko asked, sounding intrigued.

"Okay, so I'm positive that the fallen angels are planning something. Something big, which means that there's gonna be guards all over the place. I'll try and lure the stronger ones away from the church. You guys deal with the small fry, and we'll meet up after. Sound good?" I ask. I got a nod for confirmation from all of them.

"Alright. In that case, there's a forest coming up shortly. There's bound to be some guards hanging around there. I'll deal with them. Ready? BREAK!" I shout as we all run and go our separate ways for the time being.

'Good luck everyone. Stay strong and be brave!' I think to myself before running into the forest I had planned on entering before. As I continued running, I noticed that the sky was covered in the night sky, completely enveloped darkness and stars. The trees I ran past were almost, completely dead. Every branch was either broken or had sharp edges on them.

"Wow, garden maintenance must suck around here." I say to myself jokingly, trying to lighten the situation.

"Ugh...this-is-the worst!" I hear a voice cry.

'Someone already? Must be getting close then.' I thought as I began to slow down. As I did, I decided to hide behind a thick tree, in hopes of figuring out who or what I was dealing with.

"Standing guard duty is the most boring thing ever!" She whined more.

Upon closer inspection, the fallen angel on guard duty looked relatively young. She was blonde and had pigtails. What was strange was the fact that she was dressed like a gothic Lolita.

'Well, to each their own I guess.' I thought. Having to keep up with my end of the plan, I had to draw her attention with something. And as I began to slowly shift around, I felt and heard something crack loudly under my foot. I looked down and saw it was a broken twig.

"Who's there?!" The Lolita fallen angel asked.

'Well guess that's one way of getting attention.' I thought.

She looks around for the voice seeing no one.

"Come on out! Where are you?!"

I decide to take the offensive approach and attack first. I summon Oblivion and make it form a black and purple fireball on the end of it. I then launch myself out of hiding, swinging my blade and sending the black and purple fireball towards the fallen angel.

"WOAH!" She shouts as she dodges it unexpectedly. "Who the heck?!" She asks before looking at me.

I slowly approach her with Oblivion in hand and a sly smile on my face.

"So...what's a little girl like you doing out so late like this?" I ask sarcastically.

"Well, I'm Mittelt. The most awesome fallen angel in the history of ever!" She introduced by curtsying her frilly skirt.

"Yeah I'm sure." I replied, trying to amuse her. "So like I said before cutie, what are you doing here?" I ask again, thing time trying to catch her off guard.

The fallen angel Mittelt blushed at the fact I called her cute, guess it's working. "D-Don't you call me cute! We're in the middle of a really super-duper secret ritual and I won't let you interfere." She said, trying to sound cocky.

"Wouldn't be secret if you just told someone." I said, making her sweat drop from embarrassment. "But luckily, the others I came with should be at the church by now."

"What?! Are you flipping kidding me?!"

"Does it look like I'm kidding?" I ask with a serious expression on my face.

Mittelt began to stomp the ground in frustration. "Ooh you devils! Curse your wicked craftiness! No matter, let them do their worst! Like they could stop us, there are WAY more of us then there are of them! So why are you here? I hope it isn't for getting that girl we need, because if so you'll have to deal with me first. I may be little, but I promise you this much I pack a mean punch." Mittelt smiles slyly at me. I could easily sense her arrogance and cockiness.

"Aw, how adorable. You think you could actually stop me." I say in a teasing tone.

"S-Shut up!" She yells feeling even more embarrassed.

I simply scoff before getting into a fighting stance.

"My my, you've grown in strength since we last met. Haven't you boy?" A familiar gruff voice asks from above.

I look up and see two more familiar faces that I've already felt with before.

"Dohnaseek how nice to see you again." I then change my attention to Kalawarner. "Hey Kalawarner, how's it going?" I say, giving a friendly wave and smile.

Her right eyebrow just twitches and she summons she spear of light. "I'm going to enjoy making you pay for embarrassing me like you did far more than I should." She said coldly before charging at me head-on.

She tries to lunge her spear into my head, but I easily deflect it and send her flying away. Dohnaseek tries his luck and throws two spears of light, which I easily evaded by jumping backward. Once I land, both he and Kalawarner charge at me from both sides. I summon Oath Maker into my other hand and stop their combined assault. They then begin taking rapid fast swings and proceed at me, which I easily dodge, deflect and counter.

Having feeling left out of the fun, Mittelt throws two of her spears of light towards my direction. I notice them and catch them with my swords, then redirect them straight for the other two fallen angels beside me. As the smoke cleared, I took a huge jump backward to gain some distance between all of us. The fallen angels regrouped, and they looked very upset.

"Not bad kid. You're more skilled than I thought." Dohnaseek complemented.

"You got that right. I had no idea this kid was on this kind of caliber." Kalawarner stated in surprise.

"For real! Why are you even here?!" Mittelt asked furiously.

I simply give a sly grin before responding to them. But before I did, I felt an all too familiar power from right behind me.

"Yes. That's a good question." The voice asked.

'Oh shit.'

"Why are you here (Y/N)?" The voice asked again.

I began to feel like there was no getting out of any of this at this rate. I have a feeling if where this is going. I slowly turned around and saw that it really was who I thought it was. And there they were, simply smiling at me and the predicament I was in.

"Rias...Akeno?" I asked in surprise and confusion.

'...Oh this does not bode well.'
