"It's not fair!" Gon shouted in the middle of the room, pouting his lips. It's been hours since we got out from Battera's quarter with this frustration filling on us.
"My Ren at that time is already in the maximum power! How can they reject us like that?!"
"Gon, calm down.~" I said as I tried to gesture to stop him from getting annoyed.
"Hmm..." We heard Killua hummed in the other corner of the room, leaning against the wall with his chin resting in his hands. We turned our heads at the same time to Killua and tried to listen to what he will say. "Maybe we need special Nen abilities."
"Nen abilities?" Gon and I said at the same time, didn't completely understand what he was saying.
"It's something like a cool blow you can make using your Nen." Killua said, explaining what it is. I don't know but it feels like his Aura was saying that 'I know a lot more than you'. "And I have something in mind to try. I'm going to the other room."
So that's why his face seems so cocky. He already made up a Nen ability that's perfect for him.
"What? You already had an idea?" Gon said enthusiastically and amazed by his friend. "Can you tell me what it is?"
Killua turned around after opening the door of the room. He made a killer smile, or more like a smirk while looking at us.
"It's-a-sec-ret."
He closed the door in front of us, leaving Gon and I behind. I turned around on my side to see him, as he did the same.

Gon and I tried to ask Kurapika about how he does his training, but he advised us to ask our masters instead, since they knew a lot more than him.
Miss Java is talented and always tried to explain Nen into the simplest things that I will understand it easily. And since she's a Transmitter, then she might have any idea how to make Nen abilities with an Enhancer type.
"Hey, Gon," I called for my friend in front of me, making him turn his head to me and raised an eyebrow.
"I'm going to my room to practice for myself so you can go ahead.~" I said with an apologetic smile.
"Eh?! Even you, Secco?" He pouted and crossed his arms, not looking directly at me. Gon wanted to spend his time with his friends, but I hope he understands that there are some times that we need privacy.
"Sorry.~" I said to him. "I just... want to see my output myself. I don't want anyone to know it yet.~"
He didn't answer for a while and continued to pout for a short time. After that, he stopped and looked at me, still seeing his grievous face. I wanted to stay with him to remove that sad expression of his, but I have to do this on my own or else, I couldn't concentrate.
"I understand." He said, followed by a sigh. "Just be right back on lunch!"
I nodded and gave him a short wave, as he walked away from me and the room in front. I opened the door and entered the almost empty room. It contained only a bed and a table in the corner.
I stood in the middle of the room and took a deep breath. This time is the start of my training. Killua said we need to have some Nen abilities to pass Tzesguerra's test.
But....
How will I do that?
Still, don't have any idea how to start, I picked up my phone and made a call. The other line rung itself, which echoes in the room.
The person picked up my call and a voice started to make noise on the other line.
"Hello?" The woman asked.
"Hello, Miss Java–I mean–Master." I said with a trouble calling her name. But I guess that doesn't matter as long as those two honorifics shows respect.
"Oh Secco! What brings you to call me?" She asked.
I told her all about the adventure I had since the time I parted ways with them. She was even surprised by the fact that we finally found a way to enter the Greed Island game. So I asked her how to make special Nen abilities using Enhancer type.
"Secco, dear. Enhancers don't need to have some Nen abilities. They are the most balanced in both offense and defense so there's no need to. All you have to do is master Ten and Ren every day." Java explained on the other line. I was about to remind her about the deadline when she suddenly started to speak again.
"And I understand you have a deadline. But still, you have to patient with your powers." She ended her explanation.
"... I see." I tried to not sound grievous, but I couldn't help but to be disappointed of what I heard. I'm so excited to fight like those movies I always watch when I was a kid. My father and I used to copy their fighting poses and uses water guns to imitate them. It was the best days of my life.
"But... if you really wanted to be that creative..." Java spoke again, as I was about to hang up, which gave me the little hope that I can try something different using my Nen. "Why don't you try enhancing an object?"
"Enhancing an object?" I said with an innocent tone between my voice. "Does that really possible?"
"Hey! I told you that in the time of our trainings, you idiot!" She shouted at the other end of the line which made my eardrums vibrate faster than ever. "How can you forget something so important such that!"
"Ouch! I-I'm sorry!" I shouted back, but a lesser volume than her, scared that she might freaked out again. "But I promise, that's the only thing that I forgot.~"
"Nggggg!!"
Even though I can't see her, I know she's pouting her mouth to me since I can hear the sounds she's making with her mouth. After a few seconds, I heard her sighed.
"Okay, back to the topic." She said, which made my ears more sensitive than last time. I couldn't let these informations let out of my head. "Archi started to train you with the advanced techniques of Nen, right?"
"Uhh... I think so. If it is about that Gyo, In, and En, yes, of course." I don't actually remember what those techniques called, but I didn't forget the methods of performing those. I'm more of a person who reads the definition but never remembers the term.
"Then, now, you have to learn this technique." She made a pause to clear her throat to me. "The Shu."
"Shu?" I asked with matching tilt on my head, showing that I don't have any idea what that means.
"Shu is an advanced application of Ten." She started, as I grabbed a pen and paper to jot down the notes. "With this, you can cover an object using your Aura, allowing you to use that object as more of an extension of your body."
"Woahh!!" I exclaimed. This is it! "This is what I'm looking for! Master, please teach me how to do it through this phone!~"
I heard a lot giggle on the other line. "Okay, calm down, runner."
She explained the topic further, as I was writing all that she's saying. It was hard for me to train Nen without a master to guide me. I guess I'll try my best to handle this myself. Let's have a look on how far my mind will take this.
"Okay. I got it! Now I can train! Thanks, Master!~" I shouted on the phone, as Miss Java bid goodbye and hanged up the phone herself.
Miss Java's tips are very helpful so I can practice the Shu with just me. Gon and I are both enhancers, and since our type is already balanced in both offense and defense, there aren't many creative blows and techniques to think off. There might be a chance that Gon and I can have the same idea. I don't want to do that. I don't want Gon to say that I'm a copycat or something.
I made a long sigh, and concentrated my brain back to the current situation. Now, I'll start training my Shu.
But... what object should I use?
I turned around in the room to look for any objects that I can enhance its abilities. There aren't almost anything inside this room except a bed, a table, and a window, which didn't release the creative juices out of my head.
And besides, if I make a Nen ability out of those things, it would be the complicated and complex one, and I don't want that. I'm not very good at analyzing things that is difficult to understand.
So I want to enhance an object that has a simple purpose but is very useful to me. An object that has been with me since I was little up until now. An object that I can use to hide my true self to anyone. An object that can cover any object so I can use them as a weapon. An object that...
An object that...
I turned to look at it. This is it! This is the thing that I've been looking for this whole time! With this, there's not too much hassle for me.
"I found it!~" I shouted in the middle of the room, with both of my hands raised up to the ceiling, trying to reach it with my hands formed to fist. I can't believe that my creative juices started pouring into my nerves.
"Greed Island, here we come!~"

The sun sets in front of us, but Leorio blocked it out of our way. It's already afternoon and tomorrow is the screening for Battera's search for players.
Leorio told us about Kurapika getting out of the city and accompanying Light Nostrade with his daughter along the way. Every time I heard them, all I think about was destroying them. But I shouldn't be here for vengeance, I'm here to know about my arm.
"Eh?! He didn't even say goodbye?!" Gon complained as he pouted his lips because of his realization.
I chuckled at Gon's childish thoughts, but after that, something made me realized.
"So... he still chose that bastard over me, his friend, huh?" I said with a sad smile forming in my face, and lowered my head. "Somehow, it kinda hurts to remind it."
All of a sudden, I heard Leorio sighed after my longings. He spoke, with a wide smile on his face. "Look. Kurapika might be a determined person, but that doesn't mean he forgot about us. So... don't worry." He kneeled down so we can have the same height, and patted my head.
I smiled back at him and went back to my normal self. That's right. I'm sure Kurapika will come back to us and after the right time, we might end up being friends after all. For now, I must focus on my goal right now which is to find Grenno in Greed Island.
After that, Leorio gave Gon a passbook and said that Zepile had already recovered his hundred million Jenny. He can use this to retrieve his Hunter License back. With that business arranged and done, the future doctor walked away with a bid of goodbye.

The day of the screening had already came, and our minds and bodies are ready as ever. I've trained my Shu every day and night using that object, so I am prepared right now.
We entered and was welcomed by a large stage and a rows of seats positioned in front of it. We looked for our seats and sat down.
"Hey." I heard Killua spoke right beside me, with Gon beside him. I turned around to see him and he displayed that typical poker face he had. "You look different today."
"A-Am I?~" I made a fake laugh but I knew he will see in my actions. I just don't know how to react on his comment out of the blue. I mean, I didn't dress up that hard, and I'm still wearing my waitress dress. Well, except that both of my arms right now have been covered by bandages. I didn't think he would notice that.
He looked at me for too long with the same face and finally, he smiled. "You look stronger."
What he said took me by surprise, I can feel my cheeks heated. I lowered my head to hide my face. But after that second of embarrassment, I tilted my head and smiled at him.
"I'm happy to hear that."
I can see his pink cheeks too and averted his eyes away from me. Why does every time I say something good about me, he acts like he hates it?
Finally, the screening starts and Tsezguerra walked on the stage, explaining the Greed Island game and our work as Battery's game players.
I was bored of listening to his speech, I tried to turn my head to look around the other people. After glancing my eyes to them, I finally spotted a person that took my interest.
With a hair same as mine, only in pigtails, I didn't expect that there would be a little girl joining here in the screening. Well, I don't deserve to say that because I'm also a little girl. But still, it's rare to see a woman here in this world that's just for strong men with built bodies.
I remember in the Hunter exam that only me and other two girls entered the exam, then, the first female Hunter I met was Miss Java, and now, I met a girl with about the same height and age as mine.
Because I was too focused on the girl, I didn't listen to all the lectures they had and all that I understood is that Tzesguerra put some curtains in front of him, covering the whole stage. The girl and the other guys walked towards the open way on the corner of the stage and made a line.
I was planning on walking there since almost all of the participants but I noticed that Gon and Killua didn't move on their seats. I guess I'll wait for their signal, huh?
Then, all of a sudden, there was this guy named Puhat, who started to speak to us about how stupid the people waiting in the line are, and that's kinda rude but makes sense. He also said that maybe only a few can be chosen to enter the game.
After that small talk, Killua got out of his chair and walked towards the corner.
"I'll met up with you guys later!" He said with a smile and started to walk.
I don't know what will happen inside, but I hope it's not that serious. I hope we didn't have to fight Tsezguerra on a battle. He looks tough.
"I-I'm nervous." I said out loud, loud enough for Gon to hear, since we're the only ones left.
He looked at me with a poker face as Killua, and smiled warmly. "Don't worry. We trained so hard. I'm sure we will enter together!"
He tried to cheer me up with optimism. I couldn't help but to smile and trust his words. Yes. We trained so hard for this, I'm sure it will turn out good.
Gon went out of the chair since it's his turn to be tested.
"Break a leg, Gon!~" I shouted at him with a warm smile and waited for his turn to finish. It didn't took hours, not even minutes, and finally, it's my turn.
I took a step to the stairs and towards the dark hallway. I couldn't see anything besides darkness, but it didn't creep me out. Because I know that Gon and Killua will be on the other side of this place, waiting for me to pass.
After seconds of walking, I finally made it into the room. Tzesguerra was standing right in front of me, with his arms crossed and his military suit, plus his smirk, he was saying that I don't have a match to him.
I'm scared, but I know I mustn't.
I turned my head around the room and saw a crashed part of the wall, like it was punched by someone. Could it be...?
"Hey! Is this Gon's doing?!~" I asked excitedly as I was stunned by the wall. Woah! Gon was really amazing! "It's so awesome!~"
"Hey, little girl!" He shouted at me with his deep and fearless voice. "If you're here just to have fun, then I'll immediately disqualified you, understand?"
"Y-Yes!" For that meantime, my body hairs stood up and I became scared. I didn't think that he will be angry at my actions.
He cleared his throat and went back to his normal self. "Alright. So let's get started. Show me your Ren." He said, with a deeper but calm voice right now. It's like talking to a security guard on an inspection. That actually scared me when I was a kid.
"Can I show anything else?~"
"It's alright. What I meant to say with that is to show your Nen abilities. " He smiled at me, a determined smile. That didn't gave me comfort, but it's not that scary.
"Okay." I took a deep breath and released it followed by my chest lowering down. I opened my eyes and made a smirk in my face.
"Here I come!"
