A/N: Really interested in doing something with Tailed Beast in the future let me know if you have any ideas.
Glistening with a reflective glow, the twisting pillar of water and the five sharks were frozen. Staring at this, Kisame was in a wide-eyed shock, and that shock reflected onto Ino as well, although for a different reason. Slowly standing up in front of her was a young girl. "Fuyumi?" I spoke unconsciously as she hardly recognized the girl in front of her.
They had met briefly; however, even in that brief time, it was one of the most iconic moments she could remember. Fuyumi had grown since then with her light blue hair stretching down to her waist along with their silver ends. Because Shinigami kept their appearance for hundreds of years despite growing, Fuyumi barely looked different.
Turning around, Fuyumi's light orange eyes locked onto Ino as she smiled. "Big Sister Ino!" Hearing the unfamiliar call, Ino snapped out of her daze. "What are you doing here?" The shock almost overcame the pain Ino felt in her arm as she asked Fuyumi a question. Fuyumi's gaze swept over everything around them, including her senses.
"We got a report of a disturbance around here so I was sent here to investigate. But it looks like you've had a hard time." Slowly Fuyumi drew her Zanpakuto from its sheath on her waist. Both Itachi and Kisame gazes rested on Fuyumi for a moment before Kisame spoke. "Oh I see you must be from the other side of this wall meaning you're probably related to that Rei kid huh?"
Getting over his surprise when it came to her freezing his Jutsu Kisame grabbed his sword. "So does that mean that Rei kid is coming here as well? It would save us the trouble of going in there and dragging him out." Hearing Kisame's words, Fuyumi's eyes narrowed as her Reiatsu began pouring from her body.
Seeing her entire body covered with an eye-blurring amount of bluish-white aura everyone, there also felt a strange pressure fall onto their bodies now it felt as if their very beings were being suppressed. Although Spiritual Pressure did not affect the living as well as pure souls, thanks to the living having Chakra to protect them, it wasn't entirely useless either.
With enough Reiatsu being released, even the living would feel suppressed in one way or another. "Oh ho." Kisame's face showed a look of excitement as he stared at Fuyumi. 'I've never felt something like this before. It's suffocating.' It was as he thought that to himself that Fuyumi spoke to him coldly.
"I'm afraid you'll be disappointed that he won't be coming. Big Brother Rei doesn't need to waste his time dealing with people like you." Kisame pointed his sword at Fuyumi as he responded. "Fine by me, I'll just capture you and force him to come out!" With Fuyumi's Spiritual Pressure beginning to let up, Ino finally felt like she should speak clearly.
They had fought against Fuyumi and the others before and knew they were strong, but Kisame was an S-Rank Ninja. She wasn't confident she could hold her own no matter how much stronger she got. 'Plus…' Turning her head, she saw Itachi had completely stopped fighting with the Squad Leader and the remaining Anbu members.
His attention was focused solely on Fuyumi as his Sharingan narrowed in. 'Even if she can fight Kisame on his own if Itachi decides to help him.' She might even get killed if she can't retreat fast enough. Thinking of this, Ino's expression got grim as she warned Fuyumi, who was in front of her. "You should get out of here while you can, they might kill you."
Hearing the worry in her voice Fuyumi glanced at Ino and smiled. "Don't worry about it, I'll be fine. Besides, although I'm not a big fan of the Hidden Leaf, Big Brother Rei considers you a friend and that means we wouldn't leave you to die out here. You can also count it as a sorry for the misunderstanding from before."
Hearing that, Ino's hands began to ball up. The words of Tsunade echoed in her head, and the fact she was sent here was purely so that they could use the fact she was on friendly terms with Rei. Fuyumi's words immediately made her feel a sense of guilt and even more so responsible for what would happen if Fuyumi really did get hurt.
"Now then." Turning back towards Kisame, he immediately put up his guard against Fuyumi. 'Let's see what youve got, brat.' Bending her legs slightly, Fuyumi's clothes fluttered as she rushed towards Kisame at top speed. Raising her Zanpakuto, she slashed down with the intention to cut him clean in two.
Seeing this, both Itachi and Kisame had the same thought. 'She's fast!' Raising his guard, he blocked with the blunter side of Samehada. On impact, Kisame felt an incredible amount of force pushing him back as sparks fired off like fireworks. 'And she's insanely strong for her age!' Being pushed back while also rising into the air, Kisame recovered himself by backflipping in the air and landing back on his feet.
"That sword is not bad to be able to clash with Samehada that roughly and not have a scratch." Seeing Fuyumi rushing towards him again, Kisame swung with Samehada in an arc-like slash from the left side. Seeing his attack as she rushed in, Fuyumi raised her Zanpakuto and slashed towards him from the right in a similar arc.
As both blades hit one another, a ring echoed out along with sparks. Standing one on one for a moment, the two continued to push against each other's blades. Suddenly letting go of the clash, Fuyumi switched her momentum up and spun around, attacking from Kisame's unguarded side.
"Huh?" Seeing the sudden switch, Kisame didn't have time to block, so instead tilted his body to dodge. The slash cut through his Akatsuki cloak and into his arm slightly before he countered. With neither taking a step back, they began clashing with one another multiple times in a display of swordplay faster than the eye could track.
"Incredible…" Ino and the Anbu all looked on with a sense of awe as Itachi continued to examine Fuyumi closely. 'What's going on here. There is no chakra hidden behind her attacks and my Sharignan can see through her at all.' Back in the midst of the fight, both Kisame and Fuyumi had already swung at one another over thirty times, still not landing a single fatal blow.
Watching all her movements carefully, Kisame waited for an opening before a smirk came onto his face. Pushing Fuyumi's blade down with his in the form of a parry, he suddenly reached out with his free hand. Not expecting it, Fuyumi felt her neck being grabbed by Kisame as he used all the strength in his body to throw her dozens of meters into the air behind him.
After throwing her, Kisame began to weave multiple hand signs while gathering a lot of chakra. Recovering as she landed heavily onto the ground, Fuyumi glared at Kisame and held up her hand, and began to chant. "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!"
"Water Style: Super Exploding Water Shockwave!"
Appearing in the form of a large tsunami-like wave capable of tearing through the earth, Kisame sent an insane amount of water plunging towards Fuyumi as it devoured everything in its path. On the other hand, in front of her palm, a massive amount of pure Reiryoku had gathered in the form of a large red sphere.
Seeing the large wave traveling towards her, Fuyumi aimed for the center mass. "Hado #31: Shakkaho!" Firing forward while creating a large shark wave as it flew straight towards Kisame's Jutsu. On impact, the large wave of water and the Hado exploded into a violent red explosion taller than even the trees.
Due to the explosion, all of the water from the wave was sent flying upwards or in a separate direction. However, Fuyumi's face changed as she saw Kisame behind the wave smiling as his sword began. Merging with his body. Fuyumi didn't know how to describe it as she saw him place his hands together.
"Water Prison Shark Dance Jutsu!" Being influenced by Kisame's chakra, all the water that had been scattered began to reform at a blinding amount of speed. Before Fuyumi could retreat, the Jutsu was already complete. "It's over." Itachi's voice entered both the Anbu and Ino's ears as a massive shadow was cast onto them.
All the water from his previous Jutsu had formed a massive ball of water surrounding both him and Fuyumi at the same time. Floating in that ball of water, Fuyumi was forced to hold her breath as she looked at Kisame. After fusing with Samehada, he had fully taken after the appearance of a shark.
With one movement, Kisame's newfound speed allowed him to swiftly swim towards Fuyumi. Being in the water could barely react as a cut appeared on her cheek, letting blood slowly leak into the water around her. "This is the end for you." Kisame stared at Fuyumi with a sense of reassurance.
'Even with your ability to freeze water there is no Jutsu that would let you freeze this amount of liquid while it's infused with my own Chakra. At the same time any Lightning style Jutsu would quickly lose its effectiveness due to the large amount of water. All I have to do now is widdle her down.' Whether she died from drowning or from bleeding out was the only question left in Kisame's mind.
Turning around to look at Kisame while still holding her breath, Fuyumi's face was the opposite of what he had expected. Instead of showing a look of panic wiped her cheek and smiled. Using Reiatsu to stop water from entering her mouth, Fuyumi spoke to Kisame and Kisame alone. "Using a water based technique against me was the worst decision you could have made."
Hearing those word's Kisame's face turned as he saw Fuyumi run her hand across the blade of her Zanpakuto. From outside of the Jutsu, Ino was watching with a face full of worry. However, suddenly the entire ball of water, both Fuyumi, and Kisame, began to tremble as a voice penetrated through the area.
"Absorb as you reveal your radiance. Munriba!"
Reiatsu flooded out of Fuyumi like a broken dam, almost tripling the amount that was being released from her compared to before. Due to the color of her Reiatsu, the entire ball of water began to glow with a radiance that overmatched the sun. As her power continued to spike, it took a few seconds for her Reiatsu to finally calm.
Uncovering his eyes, Kisame saw Fuyumi's Zanpakuto had changed its form transforming from a Katana to a thin double-sided blade. Even underwater, it gave off a light that shone like the moon and was a dazzling sight to behold in combination with her Reiatsu. "This battle is over." In what seemed to be pure bravado, Fuyumi lightly blades towards Kisame.
'What is she talking about?' Kisame would consider it a bluff if he had not felt the amount of pressure Fuyumi was giving off just a few seconds ago. But at the same time, other than her sword changing its form, he couldn't notice anything. His chakra flowing through the sphere of water surrounding them hadn't been disturbed.
And he wasn't under any kind of Genjutsu either. 'I'll have to attack to see whatever she had planned.' Planning cautiously, Kisame prepared to attack Fuyumi at full speed to see what she had up her sleeves. However, the moment he went to move, he found that… He couldn't. "What?" Struggling, Kisame found no matter what he did. He couldn't move at all.
It wasn't that he couldn't move his body, though. It was more of the fact the water around him was keeping him in place. Understanding that Kisame looked towards Fuyumi. "But that's impossible! The Chakra flowing through this water makes it completely immune to anyone else's control. Even if you managed to do something I would know!"
Hearing his voice, Fuyumi held her Zanpakuto up to her face and placed her hand on its blade. "Munriba is the name of my sword. No matter what it may be as long as it's a type or form of liquid the moment it's cut it can be either absorbed or directly controlled to an absolute by my will." Listening to Fuyumi, Kisame's eyes began to widen.
He remembered the moment Fuyumi casually swiped towards him. At that moment, she had already activated her Zanpakuto's ability. "I actually feel bad for you right now, you know. Out of everyone you could have fought I was probably your worst matchup. The moment you used this Jutsu… You created a prison for yourself that you can't escape from."
At the end of Fuyumi's words, Kisame felt the water around his body tighten, restricting his movement even more. Staring at Fuyumi angrily, he tried to disable his Jutsu, but it was too late. It was all under Fuyumi's direct control, and his Jutsu was no longer a factor. He had played himself right into her hands.
