Paradise With a Storm

There was a girl who looked like paradise

She was a tropical island; the breeze of the sea kisses the sand on her skin

The trees through the calming winds flowing through her

Skin white as the whitest sands in bora bora

She was perfect, but she wasn't She was a paradise with a storm

Tourist would fall in love with her, staying for the beauty that she offered

She had everything to offer, precious resources

Pearls were scattered all over her shores, her trees were full of fruits of different variants

The weather was always perfect, the waves were never too high or never too low, just right

A true paradise but then came the storm

There was always a storm brewing, it was never calm

Sooner or later she knew it would come, but she never knew when

When it came, it would destroy everything, winds blowing away all that it had to offer

It would flood the shores, washing away every pearl and fruit it had to offer

All it's beauty gone, scaring everyone on her away

They left because of the storm that came with the island

They left because of the storm that came with her

The storm calmed and after some time she did, too

Her beauty returned, her pearls washed ashore once more

Her trees bore fruit once again, waiting for those who would return

To this paradise with a storm

And stay forever more
