Survive (3)

"YOHOLOALALALAL", a man with a cloth around his waist jumped down from one of the trees. He stood in the middle of their face-off. He looked at the men and they pissed themselves, they called him Jake the savage. They took out a white twisted horn and blew it. A white circle appeared in front of them and a woman wearing practically nothing stepped out. Noah's jaw hit the floor.

"Jake the savage," she said, "Amirilia the twat", Jake said. They looked at each other in clear contempt. Noah was still confused as to why they were not cold. "The rules state that we aren't allowed to interfere in their work.", "I can't let one of my own die" Jake said. Noah noticed Jake sported the adventure gods symbol on his back. "Well we aren't letting you take our food", "Stop me then, twat"

An ear-shattering scream if the yeti's scream had emanated power, this one emanated horror. Blood morphed out of seemingly nothing and begun stabbing at Jake. Completely calm, he brandished his swords towards the incoming blood, completely stopping it. "Run away", Jake said. And so they did, they had no reason to stay there after all. They ran the opposite direction of the people.

They saw it. A blue-faced ape in the distance, it had a wide smile, it had just won in hide and seek. They simultaneously started to turn around and run away, but when they were turning they got grabbed. Before they knew it, they had been lifted off the ground. Jake jumped from tree to tree, each time he jumped the frozen air tortured Noah. The yeti's steps shook the trees as it chased after, it was on their tail.

They found themselves in a new village, there was a large wooden wall composed of multiple logs stationed around the base. There was a giant pit fire inside of the closure, and inside there were also multiple different camps that populated the area. Noah found the entries spot quite cosy.

Jake leapt above the wooden wall, and when the Yeti attempted to do the same the logs grew his face smashed into them. He let out a roar before returning to his sleeping spot in the forest. Jake landed and instantly ordered the people nearby to grab two parkas for their newly arrived. There were many people around them, they consisted of different ages. They all looked at Jake with admiring eyes.

Noah could only think about one thing, "how was is this mad man not freezing". Soon parkas were thrown on him, Noah stood close to the pit fire for his feet to heat up. They had been radiating a piercing pain. Noah also realised that the girl had been standing strangely close to him, he didn't mind until he saw the sick gorilla smile form in his head and stepped away.

"You must be wondering what happened? Everyone does, and I Jake the hero will tell you. A sick and demented old wizard has cursed you here for a set amount of time if you can survive that time you will be let out, but it is not easy to survive in these lands. There are monsters, and even more dangerous, humans around. The forest also follows strange rules, which you will notice soon. There are three tribes, the cannibals, the Jakers, Yes that is us, named after yours truly, and anti-human tribe. Anyhow, make yourself feel at home here, I will lead a hunt tomorrow I'll see you then", he let out a smile which almost blinded Noah.

Before he could leave Noah asked him a question, "how are you not cold?", "Oh yeah" he glanced at himself, "you are probably quite confused about that. When you grow powerful enough you gain an aura, it can negate the temperature. Here, the fewer clothes you wear the more powerful you seem. If you didn't act like complete strangers, those warriors wouldn't have approached you, since you know, your shit. Anyhow. Chao!"

'That guy sure loves to talk', Noah thought but his thoughts were quickly taken back as he saw a woman in front of him. She walked around completely naked, his eyes were too caught up in staring to realise that the snow was melting around her. She glanced at him and Noah felt like he had fallen in love, meanwhile, she scoffed. Almost every new man would be caught staring at her the first couple of days, she didn't care about weaklings though.

Noah's eyes were glued to her until he couldn't see her. When he looked to his right he saw a gorilla looming over him, he quickly regained his composure and the girl was back. "Anyhow, What's your name?", he asked her. "Alice". Once again a scream interrupted their conversation. A young boy had entered the village, he was covered in thick clothes, he screamed in desperation.

"Agila is hurt, she is hurt, I need help"

Noah without thinking walked up to the little boy, his feet screaming with each step. "I'll help you", the boy didn't recognize Noah but he didn't care about petty details, his friend's life was on the line. He ran through the gate, and then he ran through the forest. Noah and Alice followed closely behind him. The boy ran really quickly for having such small feet.

They saw a fat, large, club-wielding ogre standing one hundred meters away, in front of him a wounded girl desperately crawled away. He seemed delighted that he had caught his prey, Noah let out a scared shriek in order to catch his attention. He succeeded, the ogre looked straight at them and begun running towards them. "More food," the ogre thought. Just then, as the fight was about to start. The ground furiously shook, it felt like an earthquake had hit them, but it was soon over.

Noah ignored the sudden earthquake, life had simply been twisted lately, when he glanced to his left expecting a gorilla, he saw nothing. He looked behind him and saw Alice on the floor, "dodo dada" she went, acting like a two year old toddler
