Bunnies had different eye colours, from red to dark brown; this bunny had black eyes. There was no life in them, no suspicious glint that followed you. No, instead it was dark, unmoving and slightly dead, Noah almost felt like it didn't see at all.

Nevertheless, he lightly stepped on the snow to avoid making a crunching noise. He crept closer to the bunny, and when Noah had crept close enough to charge the bunny, something unexpected happened.

It had turned, and long claws exited its fluffy arms, and it jumped right at Noah letting out a small screech. Noah jumped, his mind not quite understanding what just took place. He rolled, the bunny landed and screeched even more visceral, to which he took up his guard.

The ambusher had become ambushed by the ambusheé. And, it's mouth stretched further than its whiskers. It's entire face stretched, its eyes showed too much white and its skin looked too placid. It showed its teeth which were crooked and too sharp for a bunny. The teeth in the middle were yellow, the ones towards the outer edge were black, and the sharpest teeth were still crimson from an earlier kill.

Noah already had his two daggers in his hand. The bunny walked forward towards Noah in a most lion-like manner. Noah's mind had not really fathomed what had just happened and decided to go with it until whatever was in front of him died.

With each mighty step the bunny took forward, Noah took two steps backwards. His back walked right into a tree, and deep snow fell from the branches blocking his view from the rabbit. His sprinted along each sliver of snow, and soon the bunny came. Not from the floor, but from above.

Noah rolled away again, but he heard a crunch. When he stood up and looked back at the scene he was flabbergasted. The bunnies' long claw had penetrated fully into the tree. Its entire body hung from its claws. It's large legs both slowly placed themselves on the tree, and Noah saw muscles form as it pushed itself free from the tree.

'If it lands a hit on me, I'm dead. But its skin probably doesn't give much defence either. Its legs are powerful as well. When it starts to charge it looks like it can't stop.' And so Noah had conducted a plan on how to kill the bunny.

Once again the bunny began its small march towards Noah, and he spotted a tree and walked back towards it. He walked right into it just as expected and snow tumbled down, he waited a few seconds before saying. "Backtrack!"

He found himself in front of the tree with his back turned towards it, he turned around and spotted the bunny stuck just where his head had been. He breathed heavy breaths which turned themselves into steam as he charged the bunny.

His daggers rammed into the bunnies body, blood spurted out painting its white fur red. The bunny began shaking voraciously kicking left and right losing all reason, it was crazy for life. And then, it stopped moving.

Noah took his daggers out of the bunny with a large smile plastered on his face. His stomach began rumbling harder than before and he remembered why he was fighting this beast.

He walked forward to the bunny and placed his two hands on its body, he felt the wet blood. He began pulling but it didn't budge. He kept pulling and eventually put his two legs onto the tree to help himself pull. The claws moved out a little, and a split second later Noah flew into the snow with the bunny in his hands.

He had been taught a cool trick in his time with shark man. There were multiple small caves in the area, they weren't big or warm enough to warrant a home but they could be used as a cooking spot.

After an hour of work, Noah had begun a campfire in this little cave, the smoke rose into the air and Noah put his now skinned and prepared bunny on top of the fire. And he rejoiced as the sweet smell of meat flew into his nose.

He didn't eat the bunny quite yet. Even though it felt crap tucking a roasted bunny into the space between stomach and parka. He did it, and he left for the cave.

He didn't know precisely where he was standing. He looked up at the giant yeti, and then he looked at the mountains. He got a very rough image of where he was relative to his small base.

He had wandered the woods for two full hours before he felt a sense of deja vu and stopped. The trees and their locations called out to him, he had seen this spot for it was the spot he saw Alice after escaping the yeti.

Straining his mind he walked towards where he thought the cave was, and luck has it, he spotted it in the ground. He found the two girls sitting there huddled together.

"Did you find anything?" Alice muttered.

"Yeah"

He took out the roasted bunny from his parka and felt more comfortable. He saw light shine in the two eyes, he split it into three parts and they all sat down munching on the now slightly cold roasted bunny. It might have been the tastiest meal Noah had even had.

Alice suddenly told them to be silent, and a few seconds later they heard voices outside of their cave.

...

"Whyyy are we walking around here again?" A voice went.

"Stop complaining and be happy we don't have to skin our prey," A second voice said.

"Humans, not prey, humans" A third, slightly deeper voice

"Same thing"

"They are not the same thing Jack, it makes me sick to my stomach that we are doing this"

"Then why do it"

"because I want to live"

"Shut up, the people we are eating are criminals either way"

"How do you trust her so much?"

"I don't give two shits about what we are eating. Why the fuck are we here"

"Since you have the memory of a fucking fish, I'll repeat. We saw people around here and we are to investigate the area."

At one point they heard footsteps cramping the snow outside. Noah prepared for a fight, Aza had a blank face. An emotionless and fearless face, which was the complete opposite to the cacophony of emotions on Alice's face.

Noah frowned as he looked at the rock floor. The voices had begun fading away and the steps carried after. A conversation began murmuring and soon they began moving around. They had really left them alone.

But they could not rest, maybe tomorrow or the day after that they'll come back and maybe then they wouldn't be as lucky. They had to find a new base, and they had to find it quick.

Noah was used to not eating his stomach full and Alice knew that she could eat leaves when time came by. And Aza simply didn't need as much food. She didn't need to fuel her organs and muscles, because she didn't have any. The little bunny had managed to satisfy them all.

The light shining into their cave had crawled itself backwards. The wind whistles grew to quiet shrieks and the Moon had begun raising. It gave off a shade of light which gave the trees more beauty. There wasn't light shining on them, instead they were in the spotlight.

They talked, argued, and finally decided they would head out. "Better safe than sorry," was what Aza said. The cold had grown and pierced at their noses, then their chins, and it rested in the ears leaving an agonizing pain as their ears turned into a shade of frozen apple.

Once again they were faced with a choice: what direction should they go? They could travel towards the forest, there'd be more cover and it would be easier to hide from predators, and there would be more food. It would also be warmer, well, if there ever was anything such as warmer here.

There was the second direction to go towards the mountains. This was almost instantly ruled out, whilst it was true that it head the least humans and predators in it, it also had the yeti there. The yeti was maybe the biggest fear inside of Noah's head currently. On top of that they had to face the issue of no food, and it would get colder the more they travelled upwards.

They could go towards the frozen lake, there would surely be plenty of animals there, but with that came hunters. And hunters were human, and humans were to be avoided in this place. It would also be cold as there wouldn't be much natural protection there

Then, there were the snow fields. The snow fields that continued on and on for ages. That was naturally, or rather maybe, the worst choice available. To Noah it was between the forest and the lake.

He knew roughly that, in both cases, there was a fair chance of them meeting the cannibals. They would also find good food in both cases. But what he needed was a cave.

He also knew that a cave would surely be the smartest place to set up camp because free heat came with it. And also the smoke from the fire would be removed which would make it harder to track them down.

Noah's face looked like he had finished a terribly difficult test. But then, Aza made the decision for him.

"Aha, I have decided through numerous thoughts," Aza claimed, "that we should go one direction only, and that my friends and frenemies, is towards the forest!"

And then she started moving through the seemingly millions of snowflakes blasting onto her, clearing a small rift of snow in her path, they began refilling shortly after. It was still dark, the sun had gone down completely and the small amount of light they had came from the moon.

The moon was green, it shone of green light, and the moon itself was a pentagon. And it didn't have random small flecks of darker moonstone, the entire thing looked like a lime made out of stone, which was out of proportion.

The light was small, and the darkness was plenty. The trees themselves had a different dark then the sky, and Aza's form had a different shade of dark from the trees. This was how they saw, through the different shapes. Alice followed Aza, and Noah followed after.

They ravaged throughout the forest, they looked for a small cave. But they don't find it, instead, they stumble upon a small creature with a long tail resting on the ground. It was using a tree for the small protection it provided but was almost filled with stone.

They decided to fight it, not only was it alone, but it was small. And they were hungry, especially since they had been wading through the snow. Noah knew better than to be careless if a bunny could have killed him, who knows how strong it was.

Alice didn't know this, she had already turned into a silverback gorilla and was now running her way over there. Just as she was about to reach the tree she leapt up into the air and smashed the spot where the fox was.

Was. For it could no longer be seen there, it was now resting beside a new tree. Noah felt annoyed.
