15. She is really a thief

Singto turns towards Emma and steps forward, toward her, leaving a 2-inch gap and says "What?"

 Emma rolls her eyes and says, "Oh! Mr. What! Don't come too near. You already know I carry pepper spray. So, please maintain the distance."

Singto retorted, "You don't need a pepper spray for your protection. Your voice is enough. People will run away."

"Did you criticize my voice? You know there are so many fans for my voice on YouTube. I sing very well. This cap is given by P' Peck. He likes my voice." Emma said, then she took her cap from her and started kissing the cap.

When he sees what she is doing, he doesn't know what happened to him. He just wants to throw that cap away so he can get those kisses for himself. He is really feeling that Emma kissed him on his lips and his heart is racing. But he restrains himself and enjoys how Emma's lips are moving.

 By seeing Singto gawking at her, she says, "I know you are a pervert!"

"Whom are you calling a pervert?"

She points her finger toward Singto and says, "Don't you know I am talking with you? Then it's obvious. It's you Mr. What."

He stepped forward leaving an inch gap between them and said, "Khun! Don't you know how to talk with an elder?"

Emma says, "Stay away from me!" She sprays pepper spray on him. But it doesn't work. So, she points out spray towards herself to see why it is not working. When she pressed, a small content went into her eyes.

Emma shouts "Help me! Help me, please! Is there anyone?"

He brings a water bottle from his car and gives it to her.

She washes her eyes and sees Singto is the one who helped her.

"You! Why did you help me?"

Singto huffs and says, "I don't know. You're really an idiot. You are the one asked for the help."

"Khun! Who are you calling a fool?"

"Whom am I talking to? Is there anyone here rather than you?"

She looks at her left and right and sees there is no one other than them. She points the finger towards her and says " Me"

"Then obviously you."

"What?"

Singto says with a smile, "Bye Miss. What" and goes away in his car.

Emma stamps her feet while saying "You!".

Singto reached the cafeteria. He meets Gammon.

By seeing fully dressed up Gammon, Singto winks and says, "Gammu! What's up. To whom to impress you dressed like this?"

Gammon rolls his eyes and says, " isn't obvious. Since yesterday I am saying she is my girlfriend. "Bro! Please call my number. I am dying to see my girlfriend."

"Gammu!", Singto grits his teeth.

"Ok! Ok! Call my number, please."

Singto calls Gammon's number. The call was ringing but no one answered.

After trying sometimes, Singto says, "Didn't I say that girl was a thief?"

Gammon's face became pale as Emma didn't respond to the call. He didn't like it when Singto called her thief. He says, "Bro! Don't say that. She is really a nice and cute girl."

By seeing Gammon's pale face, Singto doesn't want to argue with Gammon.

They are sipping their cappuccinos when he receives a call from Gammon's number.

Gammon says with a smile "Bro! Didn't I tell you that she is a nice girl? She may be busy when you call her. See she called back."

Gammon takes Singto's phone into his hand and answers by smiling "Khun". His heart is beating fast and excited to hear Emma's voice.

A male voice says, "Khun! Are you the phone owner?"

"Yes?" said Gammon by thinking why a man has his phone.

"I am a cab driver. You lost your phone in my cab."

Gammon's face becomes paler. His mind became numb. With great effort, he says, "I have given my phone to my friend. Can you say where you dropped her off?"

The cab driver answered "I take so many people in my cab. I don't know which passenger left the phone. I saw it this morning only."

"Ok! Please tell me where I have to come to collect my phone."

The cab driver gives him his address. Gammon's face became dull as if he lost some valuable thing. He felt his lungs left all the air in it. His mind becomes blank and he doesn't know for how much time he is like that.

When Singto observes Gammon spaced out. He shakes Gammon's hand and asks, "What happened?"

"Bro! She was really a thief. She has stolen my heart and disappeared just like that. What do I do now? I want to meet her. I never felt like this towards anyone."

"I didn't get what you are saying? What did that girl say to make you this sad?"

"The one who called me is a cab driver. Not that girl. She forgot my phone in the cab. How can I meet her? I was so happy that I will see her today. Look how well I dressed up? I want to impress her. What should I have to do now?"

"Thank God," Singto murmurs creepily.

Gammon questions back with an angry glare,"What did you say?"

"Nothing! I think you're not destined to be with her and God doesn't want you to be lovesick. So forget about her and try to look at Rose. She really likes you. I know you like her too. Then what is all this? Flirting with everyone?"

"Bro! Don't you know what is the difference between like and love? I like her but I do not love her. Please remember this. Don't you ever compel me to love her! Do you think love happens if you force? When we fall for someone, we can't restrict our hearts. And about flirting, I flirted until now as my heart didn't stick up to anyone yet.
