Ian, Werrin, the Doc, and some of the other elders who had been 'hiding' amongst the crowd, discussed out a feasible plan of action.
As Werrin had said, the depot was indeed the best place to stage an ambush. There was plenty of mechanical debris that could be used to form defensive fortifications there, and even a system of cranes and winches (usually used to move goods around) that could aid in the construction.
Once they finished discussing; following the plan, the mob army split up into several groups. The Doc, the depot foreman elder; Hestia, the head of the guard; Gogosmich, and the head alchemist; Rhea went to the depot, taking half of the Junker army with them to prepare it for battle.
Meanwhile, Werrin and the head of the residential area; Buskin, had led a good majority of those left to help evacuate the non-combatants of the village into the nexus, which was opposite to where the fighting would take place, and also had plenty of tunnels, from which the villagers could use to escape; if worse came to worst.
That left Ian with the head elder of the bazaar; Akiva, and some of the other skilled craftsmen of the village. Ian had told the Doc he would need some help in creating weapons and traps for the upcoming battle, and Akiva, along with some of his more experienced craftsmen, had volunteered. They looked excited at the prospects of learning about 'alien' technology, as there own was considerably dated and backwards.
When they reached the bazaar (where the majority of the good tools were kept) Ian walked a little ways off, giving the craftsmen a small excuse before leaving, and used the interface to call out master Nikola.
"Did you get any of that?" Ian asked Nikola, wondering if he had been listening in on his conversations with Junkers or not.
"Yes, yes, you want me to help you build some sort of weapon or trap right... I can help you. Although solely mechanical technologies are not my speciality, as I'm a Force mechanic, I can help you whip up some really fun stuff." Nikola replied, peeking over Ian's shoulder to get a look at the Junkers behind him.
This was the first time Nikola had seen his people; his kin, in what according to Illus had been Millenia and Ian noted a sense of melancholy in Nikola's eyes as he stared at Junkers, "Do you want to speak with them, I'm sure you could explain... or..."
Nikola cut Ian off, and there was a despondent sense of strain in his voice, "I can't, my people; the Nanists, or as they are now known; the Junkers, have an exceptionally low average midi-count, less than two-hundred, I am... or was an exception."
Ian didn't understand and seeing his expression, Nikola continued to explain, "I'm currently a force ghost, an apparition; incorporeal, and only those with say around a five-thousand midi-count can see something like me."
Nikola sighed, "It doesn't matter anyway; we're not supposed to interact with anyone but the inheritor... Guess it just makes things easier..."
Ian tried to cheer up the discouraged Je'daii master, "Well... even if you can't speak with them personally, through me you can teach them, and through me, you can help them. Save them even."
On Nikola's ghostly visage, a subtle smile broke out in response "Thank you, you don't know how much this means to me," and then the small smile broke out into a dastardly grin, "but enough with all that soppy crap, I want to blow some sh*t up!"
Ian let out a chuckle before returning to the group of Junker craftsmen. They had gathered in the core of the bazaar, and going through each shop and stall, they had collected as many materials and usable machinery as they could get their hands on.
"Well let's get started..." Ian announced, slapping his hands together, and addressing Junker's both alive and dead.
