A Conversation Between Brothers (1)

To escape his brother's clutches, Taylor had snuck away when no one was looking soon after lunch.

He did not return to his room as that would be the first place Topher would look for him.

Instead, he headed in the opposite direction, to someplace that he rarely visited which would be the last place his brother would think of.

The massive library which housed several hundreds of books was the place he had chosen for his grand escape.

Taylor's interest laid in aesthetically pleasing sights but excluding the tall wooden bookshelves with intricately detailed carvings on them, there was nothing that could attract his attention in this place.

Therefore, he was sure that no one would associate the library with him and thus chose this spot as his refuge for the moment.

Unfortunately, he had celebrated his victory ahead of time as even before he could safely step into the library, his path had been blocked.
