Chapter 1

"Wake up sleepyhead" I open my eyes only a little bit to see rose sitting at the end of my bed with a smirk on her face.

Rose was one of my close friends that moved away about 2 years ago. when she moved away our relationship started to fade away and next thing you know she starts talking bad about me all over social media so i just ended up blocking her on everything.

"Rose, what are you doing here?" I sit up in bed rubbing my eyes.

"That's the first thing you ask instead of giving me a hug?"

"You think you deserve a hug?"

"Yes"

"Well you don't" I stand up walking into the bathroom.

"you're gonna make me earn a hug from you?" She leans on the door.

"No, i don't want no hug from you" I push her out the doorway slamming the door shut.

"Well you're just gonna have to get used to me living here because we're gonna be roommates for a while" She yells before leaving my room.

Roommates? I hope she's not serious.

I open the door walking off after her "what do you mean roommates?"

"Go ask your mom"

I brush past her and downstairs as my mom, dad and little brother is eating breakfast.

"good morning honey" my mom smiles at me as rose walks in behind me.

"why is she here?"

"I had a talk with her mom a few days ago and she told me how rose missed living over here and her mom suggested she comes spend the summer with you, i think it'll be great"

"yes, we can catch up" Rose looks at me and winks.

"I don't wanna catch up with you"

"Eva, be nice" My dad gives me a look.

I roll my eyes and walks off upstairs to my room. I didn't want anything to do with rose, at all.

I lay down on my bed and begins texting some friends when my door opens and Rose comes walking inside.

"Did i say you can come in?"

"Come on eva, it's been 4 years since we've last seen each other, let's catch up" she sits on the edge of my bed.

"I'm good"

"Well I'll just talk about me then, I've been doing good since I've moved, our house is very big and beautiful, I'm the most liked in my school, I have a girlfriend now, boys just got way too boring for me" she laughs but I continue staring at my phone.

"Eva, you can pretend you hate me all you want but we both know that's not the truth" She runs her hand down my back "remember that time at that party?"

I move her hand away "don't bring up old stuff, we were both drunk and we need to forget about that night" I sit up in bed.

"It's hard to forget the way you was moaning my name" She smirks.

"Rose i'm serious, get out"

"Okay" She stands and walks towards the door then turns back around to me "if you need me i'll be downstairs" She walks out.

Me and rose kinda had sex at a party one time but we were both drunk, we both said we were just gonna forget it ever happened.

I sit in my room for a few more minutes when someone knocks on my door.

"come in"

My mom walks inside "Eva, me and your father is getting ready to leave so make sure you keep a eye on Andrea and don't let her eat any sweets after 8pm"

"okay mom, i love you"

"i love you too, remember, be nice"

"i will."

My mom walks out the room and i wait for 10 minutes then grabs my swimsuit and changes. I go downstairs and out to the pool hopping inside.

"Need some company?" Rose walks out and sits down on one of the chairs.

"No i'm good" I swim away from her as she lays there watching me.

"I know you've missed me, i've missed you too" Rose smiles at me.

"Actually i haven't, i've actually been perfect since i've last seen you" I swim back towards her.

"oh really?"

"yes really"

She stands walking over to me and sitting down next to me "you know that's a lie, we had some good times together"

"We did but you moved away and we grew apart and then you started talking shit about me on social media"

"I know, i'm sorry. I apologize for that, i didn't mean any of it. you know how close we were, can we start fresh?"

"hmmm." I grab her by her legs pulling her into the pool "no thanks"

I stand out of the pool "okay, you can get your anger out all you want, i don't blame you but please Eva i'm sorry."

I ignore her and walks off inside and up to my room closing the door. I message my bestfriend telling her to come over.

About 10 minutes later she arrives "i brought drinks" She holds up 2 bottles then walks inside.

"You know i don't drink" I close the door behind her.

"but you do smoke, i got weed"

Rose comes walking into the living room "hi, i'm rose" she holds her hand out.

"i'm Monique" Monique shakes her hand.

"you're pretty"

"thank you" Monique smiles.

"Monique lets go" i grab her hand dragging her upstairs with me.

"why're you pulling me so hard" Monique yanks her arm away from me as we walk into my room.

"i don't want her following" I close the door behind us and we walk over to the bed and sits.

Monique begins rolling up and once she's done she sparks it and we begin to smoke. When i smoke i tend to talk a lot about everything and that's one thing i hate about smoking.

"Me and rose, we didn't have something going on but we sure did do some stuff together"

"stuff like what?" Monique asks with a confused look.

"We had sex" I whisper.

"oh my god, i didn't know you liked girls!"

"yeah i know, i don't like telling people about it"

"but i'm your bestfriend, you're supposed to tell me everything"

"i know"

"so tell me details" Monique laughs.

"there's really nothing to say, she gave me head, i fingered her, she sucked on my titties, that's it"

"ooh you're a freak, i ain't know that"

We both laugh as there's a knock on my door then rose walks in.

"Again, who said you can come in?"

"I knocked before i came in" She closes the door behind her.

"What do you want?"

"I wanted to chill with y'all, i don't like being alone"

"well you can't, go hang with Andrea"

"Andrea's sleep"

"oh well"

"come on eva, just let her chill with us"

"ugh okay fine"

Rose walks over with a smirk sitting on the edge of my bed.

"you smoke?" monique holds the blunt out.

"hell yeah" she grabs it and takes a pull.

"so rose, did you miss it over here?" Monique asks.

"yeah, i hates that we had to move, i missed my bestfriend" Rose lays her hand on my thigh.

I move over away from her as Monique gives me a look "well, you can hang with me and Eva this summer"

"no she can't" i give Monique a death glare.

"well she can't just stay here all day everything hanging out with your younger sister who's only 9, she doesn't wanna hang out with a little girl"

"okay fine"

We smoke the rest of the blunt then talks for a few then Monique leaves. I start getting ready for bed when Rose walks inside.

"Move over" She walks over to my bed.

"Why?"

"Because your mom said i have to sleep in here with you"

"what? why!"

"don't ask me"

"ugh, it's bad enough you're staying here a whole summer now you have to sleep in my bed?"

"yeah, sucks for you" She lays down next to me "goodnight" she shuts the light off.

I move away from her and rolls my eyes and stays up for a while until i finally fall asleep.
