CHAPTER 4: ZAYDEN!

All I could hear was screaming and I could see Zayden in front of me...

Oh wait!

I am the one who is screaming.

Why?

ZAYDEN, that's why.

"Lia you are over reacting calm down." He said, try trying to make me sit on the bed.

I struggled under his grip as he was still holding my hand.

Damn those hands are so soft and interestingly warm.

Lia! Get back to your senses it's not the time to admire his hand.

"You do not tell me what to do mister." I snapped.

Somehow, I wasn't afraid of him even after he confessing his truth, which was dangerously honest.

I was actually angry, for what?

I don't know.

He scoffed "I know the reason behind your anger."

"What? How?"

"I had done something which you didn't like and that is why you are here."

"What do you mean? I want to know."

"There are a lot of things but first you need to calm down please let's just talk this out."

"What is there to talk about I told you I am not coming with you and that is my final decision."

"No Lia you are coming with me please don't let me do this the hard way."

"What about my life Zayden? What about my mom? What about Nora and what about Mason? How can I just leave them?"

"What about them Lia? You are supposed to come with me and be with me for the rest of eternity."

"Zayden they are my family they are all that I have and I am all that they have." I shouted.

Tears were brimming at my eyes.

I want to stay strong I do not want to be vulnerable in front of this Demon.

"Ok, first of all I am not a demon I am just a vampire a blood sucking vampire and yes I do not hurt anyone for blood we have blood banks at our palace enough to satisfy and strengthen us."

"Whatever y'all still have a history that is not good."

"Just come with me Lia. I promise I will not hurt you and I will not let anyone hurt you, all because I love you."

The last part caught me off guard.

What is it that is pulling me towards him? Seeing the sadness in his eyes all I want to do is run into his arms and give him a tight hug and comfort him.

Why do I feel like that?

"Because you love me Lia yes you do."

No....no... I don't.

"Yes, you do."

I couldn't answer this I just stared at him with complete confusion, at this point he didn't even have to read my thoughts.

It was written all over my face of how confused I was.

"Wait I will clear your confusion."

And before I could respond he came closer to me and looked me straight in the eye and I passed out.

~Time Travel back to the 1600~

"Mother!"

"Yes dear."

"I cannot find my blue Gown; do you know where it might be?"

"No sweetheart I do not have it ask your little sister."

"Daisy, by any chance have you seen my blue dress?"

"No Dahl, I haven't." Slyness was clear in her voice and the sly smile in the end proved that she wasn't telling the truth.

"Well, Dominic wouldn't have taken now, would he?"

As the scene rolled in front of me, I wondered where I was, this girl she looks like... like me.

Woah! But without the modern dresses that we have now she is wearing a simple gown and a bun.

That lady sitting on the chair looks like my mother but who are these two?

Daisy and... Dominic is it?

And the one who looks like me is Dahlia.

I'm even more confused why am I here?

There was a knock on the door.

"Mumma, I guess they are here."

"Yes, sweetheart get dressed."

Dahlia ran to her room and found her blue dress perfectly lying there Well she wondered how did she not see that?

I watched as she got dressed and wore the dress, it fit her so perfectly.

And her hair that was tied in a bun is now open into long and thick curls. Her hair reaching almost to her thighs was brown in colour with blue highlights and they stood out. She looked pretty.

She got dressed and ran out.

Her mom and her siblings were waiting for her.

"I am ready Mother."

Ready? For what?

They opened the doors which were heavy and stepped out in the cold night and walked till they reached a parade.

I was observing them carefully.

Thousands of people were gathered.

They stood at the footpath and waved their hands to the coming chariot.

Out stepped a handsome looking young man and he waved at everyone present there.

He stopped at a mid-wave when he noticed something or someone I may say.

He looked at Dahlia. His black eyes piercing through her.

Oh my God, that is Zayden!
