What he learned and understood in this torture was nourishment for his lack of combat ability. Some time ago, he was developing quickly due to the guidance of Martel, but it was cut short due to his teacher giving him the blue balls.

Why did Martel have to go? Neither Bob nor May knew, all they know was that Martel was desperate, as if he was running out of time. After training for less than a month with the ole cook, they parted.
