Another Old Man

A bright ball of flames acting like the sun illuminated their surroundings. A dancing phony phoenix and a woman covered in grass while a man was summoning the devil with his tone-deafness.

"Hey, woman. You think she's going to recover or something?"

"I have no idea."

The onlookers were clueless about this ceremony. However, it wasn't just them, as Bob himself had no idea what he was doing either. He was simply caring for May the best way he could, and it was through listening to the voice of the earth.

'You're okay… It's going to be okay.'

He didn't know if it would really work. He just had a feeling that things will go better if he did what he was doing. It felt off, as it was like a calling in which he never had official instructions of and it was hard to describe.

"Cluck!"

The phony phoenix terminated its dance and walked right up to May. She merrily flapped her wings in awe of May's beauty with nature surrounding her.
