Very High Expectations

Climbing the ladder high,

Up in the sky to jump and fly.

Tired and frail is the mind,

On a long way being blind.

Expectations of all never an end,

Missing the fun and its blend.

Dreams of mine lost somewhere,

Sadness and pain are all I bear.

Running back to my goals,

Without shattering others hopes.

Sacrifices made by all,

Building a path with no walls.

Floating along the flow of life,

With armor and sword for any strife.

Hard work meant for a cause,

Victory is when I hear them applause.

Very high expectations, aren't they?

Their motivation lets me slay.
