February 2013: Resfeber

"I'll go pack up some of Renzo and Seth's clothes," Syn muttered, her voice barely audible.

And, with fingers clutching the edge of her shirt, she stood up without giving her father even a meagre glance. Countless strands of her hair cast a shadow that showed the darkness of her gloom.

It crushed her.

Painfully so.

She felt worried about Raeliana, who might be bearing the repercussions of Maxwell turning his back on his responsibilities. As for her father, Syn could only share the man's sorrow. The lady didn't desire to burden her father with the thought that she loathed him, that she was blaming her for everything wrong that's happening to her family.

As she watched her feet slowly take her to Seth's bedroom, Syn couldn't help but let a sense of dread take over her composure again. Soon, every step that she took, since exiting the living room, was accompanied by a tear falling from her eyes.
