This is a story about an open-relationship between an unwilling prostitute and a married man. 


He was in an open marriage, but she's not the wife. To be one of the many partners of a man committed to another woman was her role. 


She wanted to hide her feelings that were starting to grow, her longing to be by his side, and lastly herself, by virtue of an open relationship. 


However, it was all for naught. When everything came to light, she desired to end the relationship they had. Her last words echoed through his mind as she bid him farewell through her mournful eyes. 


"If only I hadn't met you, I wouldn't be hurting this badly."

A Rich Man's Lover

<p>Although Syn agreed to have a meal with Konrad, she announced that she would only do it on the condition that the man continued with the inspection. It was not an issue for her to wait for hours at an end. Konrad was her client. If she so desired to gain his favour, she should heed his wishes as best as she could. </p>

<p>The reason that she could be brazen as to raise a condition was by virtue of how Konrad treated her in their past encounters. She noticed the way he was being considerate to her situation. There was also the fact that he believed everything that she said, considering that they would sound as the words of a lunatic in the ears of other people. With that in mind, she didn't know how she should express her appreciation for all the times that he saved her. Even now, she was the one who's on the receiving end. The last thing that she ought to do was to deny him what he wanted. Thus, despite feeling the need to be alone at the moment, she welcomed his invitation.</p>
