Erdogan didn't know what hurt him more, Raeliana's outright disregard for his feelings or the fact that he just got rejected. His intentions remained to be unknown to the woman, yet it seemed that she had an inkling as to what he had planned. 

Nevertheless, the assumption that he would fail even before he was able to begin didn't bother him that much. The main perpetrator for his discontentment was the woman's cold eyes that bore straight into his soul. He couldn't bear it. However, he had no other choice but to be on the receiving end of the woman's disapproving gaze. It was because he thought that it's the only way he could get attention from her. If he knew that it was the wrong approach to take in that situation, he would have averted his eyes as soon as he could.
