This is a story about an open-relationship between an unwilling prostitute and a married man. 


He was in an open marriage, but she's not the wife. To be one of the many partners of a man committed to another woman was her role. 


She wanted to hide her feelings that were starting to grow, her longing to be by his side, and lastly herself, by virtue of an open relationship. 


However, it was all for naught. When everything came to light, she desired to end the relationship they had. Her last words echoed through his mind as she bid him farewell through her mournful eyes. 


"If only I hadn't met you, I wouldn't be hurting this badly."

A Rich Man's Lover

Before Konrad could even enter the vehicle, he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around and saw that it was Brock who did it.

"Mr Brecheisen, care to have a word?"

Although Brock's tone didn't change a sliver, Konrad noticed the urgency behind it. Thus, he shifted his gaze back to Syn in order to advise her about the matter.

"Miss Rosenfeldt, please wait for a short while. I'll just have a talk with Sir Matthews. Please make yourself comfortable."

"That's fine. You can take your time."

Konrad only nodded as a response, forthwith closing the door thereafter. Brock then guided the man to a spot that was a few meters away from the vehicle. Thereafter, Matthews beckoned Evreth and Rohan to join the conversation. On the other hand, Ivanov and Izanagi took their posts on either side of the car where Syn was staying. Konrad didn't want to leave the job of guarding the lady solely to the Felines after all.
