February 14, 2021: Go ahead

Felix wasn't the talkative type of person. He would usually let others do the talking in order to avoid unnecessary burdens on himself. The young man would only talk as he saw fit. More often than not, it would be during the times when he knew he would benefit from speaking up. Because of that, he refrained from creating connections with people unless they had the capacity to be of help to him whenever he warranted it -- A trait that he shared with his older sister.

Needless to say, he didn't have a single friend. The relationship with a friend -- as the young man viewed it -- was superficial at best. There's no use in having one if the sole thing he could get out of friendship was emotional and social support. If he wanted support from someone, it would be from his mother and siblings.
