Felix clutched the seatbelt as tightly as he could.
He kept on glancing at Konrad, then back at the road ahead. His insides began to tremble as a droplet of sweat broke on his forehead. The young man opened his mouth to bellow, but not a sound was heard from him.
He could only close and open his mouth repeatedly in an attempt to summon his voice.
Felix's effort ultimately paid off when a groan was able to escape his lips. However, it was far too late.
Before he knew it, their vehicle collided with the pick-up truck that was coming at them.
He felt as if the world had turned upside down. With his eyes wide open, he watched as the shards of glass rain down on him. Although, the ache of having his skin get pierced didn't register in his mind just yet.
