ARC 3 - Blood Queen Part 40

I went out of my room, leaving behind the sleeping Leon who most probably wouldn't wake up until tomorrow.

As soon as I stepped out of the door, I was greeted by the head butler.

"Your Highness, " he bowed and bent his waist. "I have sensed that Your Highness turned Sir Leon into a vampire." He said.

"Yes." I answered. "Is there anything wrong with that?" I asked.

"No, Your Highness." He replied.

He said that, but there probably is a catch. Or if not, there may be at least something significant.

And as expected, the head butler continued, "It's just that I was actually planning on telling Your Highness of Sir Leon's intensions, but it seems my news was already too late," he said.

"So he asked you things before, huh." I stated, sure of my statement, and did not say so in a question form.

The butler did not respond, but his silence was an acquiescence.
