He would be the weakest if he did not activate Kaioken, the pain from Kaioken was to much for Sam, so he was planning to do some normal exercises, but the moment he had the idea in his brain he scratched, if he wanted to Achieve his goal he needed to go through some pain.

He activated Kaioken again but this instead of his heart going down by 5 % each second it was going down by 2%.

Sam went back to 10% where, his body again was filled with 10.

He was getting cramps left and right, and the worst, it felt like the meat in his body were ripping themselves apart slowly.

With all that pain, not even a shout came out of his mouth. The woulda on his body completely healed up after 90 minutes.

Sam did not understand how but his body had became a bit more muscular then before but his skinny physique didn't give his body much, to use in other to put in muscle.

The next few days, Sams days went by like that, his power level gradually increase and slowly the time it took increased, as Kaioken started to hurt him less and less.

His power level went from 113 to 1584, which was the PL of a Body Strengthen Stage 1 cultivator.

Currently Sam was in his room, with Kaioken activated and once every

10 seconds he would hear [-0.1% hp].

In order for him to get just at 10% hp he needed to wait for almost at least 2 and a half hours and each time he used this method it would weaken its effectiveness.

Another week passed and now there was no hope in using this method anymore, it took too long, his power level had jumped to 2368 but it was a very slow process from the speed he had originally started.

Currently Sam was getting ready to leave this place, he knew if he wanted to get stronger this wasn't the place. He needed to be in fights in order for him to even gain significant amount of strength for him to get his revenge.

Sam went to Lin City to look for a new place, but he had no money, the only thing he even had with him was currently the necklace his parents had given him and his clothes.

While looking around he finally found the new place he would be going to.

On the wall he was standing in front of there was an advertisement for joining the Xioa Kingdom's army.

He looked at the location of the place that were recruiting, it was very close by, it was in the battle area of Lin City, he went there and saw a few other people signing up for the army.

But in order to get recruited untouched needed to be a strength refinement stage 3. Nobody wanted to let a burden join the army, so in order to be even considered as a soldier you needed to have a bit of strength.

The guys that tried the test all passed and when it was time for Sam to test his strength, the elder was about to stop him as he wasn't feeling any qi from him, which meant that the person was not a cultivator and the most he could be was a servant of royal children from the army.

But as he was about to stop him, he felt a strange aura being released from his body, he decided to let Sam try to see, how strong Sam was.

Sam didn't know to feel joy or sadness, on one hand he could use this to grow stronger where as in the other hand it would be stupid of him to use Kaioken in a fight.

While that was happening the elder saw a score 4426 on the score board, which meant this individual was more than worthy to join the army.

The elder gave him a a badge then said to them comeback here in 4 days so they can depart for the frontlines where the army was.

In those 4 days of wait, Sam went to the Lin Forest, which was named after Lin city, the reason he came here was so he could earn some money as he needed to buy some stuff before going to the army.

Sam plan was to hunt in the outer area where monsters at his level and bit stronger would be staying at.

When he entered the forest, Sam strolled around the forest for a bit before finding a beast. Looking at it Sam tried to provoke it, which was pretty successful as the now enraged bull charges at him.

The bull had the strength of a body refinement stage 9, but as soon as he cane close to Sam, Sam activated Kaioken and instantly sent a punch, which disfigured the bull beyond recognisable.
