In The Eyes of the Beholder

"Hello?" Shia picked up the call, then looked at the video with surprise. "Kaia?"

She smiled sheepishly, waving at her with a smile on her face.

"Why are you calling? You never call before." She said, still surprised.

"I don't know, I panicked when Dor told me to call you." She signed at her, furrowing her brows together.

"Ok. Ok. Calm down, Kaia." Shia said, shifting her seat and making the video a little blurry as she popped a candy into her mouth. "Why did he tell you to call me?"

Kaia began to explain what happened just a couple of minutes ago as Shia listened in. She hardly shows that she cares as visibly as Carlotta does but you can see if you observe properly enough.

Now is one of those times that she isn't subtle though. When pushed hard enough, she can get even scarier than Carlotta thought that is a difficult feat to accomplish.
