Regrets

"She is going to suffer," Dor murmured under his breath while the others glared daggers at the two women. "Remember her name, Ran."

"Will do, sir."

"What do you suggest it do then?" Carlotta's mother asked, moving closer to the woman. "Everyone called me crazy for trying to find her and confirming her death."

"I don't think that you are crazy at all. In fact, you seem brighter than the whole lot of them. You always need to confirm so that you can live a peaceful life afterwards."

"Right?" She clapped her hands together in glee. "You are really the best psychiatrist out there. I should hire you to be with me from now on."

"Oh, that is a very bad idea," Shia said, frowning at them.

"Shouldn't we be doing something, Dor?" Max asked, turning to the boy standing behind them all.

"Not now." He said, looking at them while he listened in the conversation. "They don't seem to be trying to do anything just yet."
