"I began to watch more movies as there wasn't too much for me to do. My tutor decided that I did not really need too much effort as I was able to understand anything she taught me so I had more free time than I knew what to do with.

"I would watch movies all day as the maids only came to give me breakfast or lunch. Dinner is spent with my parents.

"I came across a movie that day and it began to make me question everything I knew about. It was about a girl from the villages and was from the early 2000s. She was adopted into a rich household as a strategy for them to be able to get more votes from the people.

"It was kinda funny how similar our situations were, except her's were filled with neglect from parents and friends to lean on. I cried that night as I watched the movie, feeling jealousy well up inside me for the first time in my life.
