In The Eyes of the Beholder

Carlotta laid in her own room. She had been in the same room as Kaia for a very long time now but she thought that she needed her space, even for just one night.

Shia had gone home already and Kaia is still sleeping in the living room. Max and Dorran are staying with her while each of them did their work.

Dor actually offered to stay with her in her room but she refused. She needed some time alone to sort out her thoughts and, though reluctant, Dor sat back down.

"Just call me if you need me," he said, smiling at her.

"I will remember that. Good night all." She waved before locking herself in her room.

Everything felt a little too quiet but she really needed the quiet right now.

Everything has been racing for her for so long. Everything has been so loud that she had no chance of doing anything else other than just going with it.
