"What happens if I am not able to do it?" Kaia asked, looking at them.

"That is right, Dorran never taught you how to transfer the lifespans." The book on the other side said. "I do not recommend you give up just yet though."

"Yeah, there is a possibility that you will be able to learn how to use it in no time." Her book stated, flying around her in glee.

"But ... do not stay in that place for too long. It is a place for the spirits and since you are still alive, you could become a spirit yourself in the end."

"That is ... ok." Kaia signed. "What if I am not able to do this then?"

"Then just come out." Her book said, "Do not stay there for longer than when I call to you. Ok?"

"You know that I cannot promise that to you." Kaia signed, smiling at the book.

"You are really making me reconsider this." The book sighed, "Bu then, we wouldn't have chosen you if you did not have some kind of quirk like that."
