"Yes," Max said cautiously. "Does that mean that this is not going to kill her?"

"Welllll." Ran said, scrunching up his face. "Not entirely."

"What are you trying to say then, Dorran?" Shia said, frustrated.

"There is a reason why it is so important that we try to find out when she dies and by what." He explained. "She could have died once again in the previous life because of this sickness of hers."

"But the doctors said that it would nerve come back."

"Then try to explain what is happening to Aliya right now." Ran said, turning to Shia. "Your parents make medicine right?"

"Yes, but they are busy right now. I don't think they will be coming out of the house any time soon." She said, frowning slightly. "They are not going to be of any help to us."

"Shame." Ran sighed. "We will just have to wait for the reports that Ellie and Sae sent to determine how deadly this is. In the meantime …"
