In The Eyes of the Beholder

"Lily!" Florence shouted as she continued to run and look around for her sister. "Lily! Where are you?!"

All she saw was rubble as far as the eye could see. Where is she?

"Florence! Here!" Shia called to the girl as she ran back at full speed.

Emily was pointing to a spot with a pile of debris as everyone waited and listened.

"Help me!" They heard a voice from the spot and Florence was about to run down herself but Ran stopped her.

"If anyone takes a wrong step there. She will be buried completely." He said, frowning slightly. "Do you want to risk that?"

She clenched her teeth, shaking her head.

"Leave it to Max," Shia said, turning to the boy. "I will guide you."

Max nodded at Shia as she slid down first, careful of where her foot landed and positioned herself at the side of the debris.

"We will get your sister out." He said, patting her arm before he slid down again. "Just trust us."
