"What are you talking about, Emily?" her mother asked as Ran walked into the room and Florence pulled up a chair for him.

"Yes. I would like to know as well." He said, grinning at her while he took a seat, nodding at the girl pleasantly. "You said something about somebody knowing something?"

"Ah … I-it's nothing." She said, looking at the ground, not daring to meet his gaze.

"What brings you here, Dorran?" Lily asked as Florence helped her sit up.

"I just wanted to make sure that they were giving you the best treatment available." He said, looking around the room. "Do you like this room? My mother stayed in here herself."

When he said that, there was this hint of something sadistic in his eyes.

He heard someone clearing their throat and turned to see Lily's expression change in a split second, "Your mother?"

"I am very honoured to have gotten this room." She said, brightly.
