chapter eleven : justice
Days went by and the science teacher gave them a project which Serena was made the group leader after the students had contributed their money for the project Serena decided to keep the money in her locker as she would do the project that weekend she did this while no one was in the room but Angel was at the entrance of the room watching her.
" Well, I think I should steal the money and frame Sophia for it after all Serena does not trust her anymore then I will convince Serena to report it to the house mistress and Sophia will punished sounds fun eh " Angel thought Wickedly.
After Serena had kept the money she locked the locker and kept the key under her pillow.
Minutes later Angel entered the room Pretending as if she was just coming directly from School as Serena left her there.
" Hi Angel what's up "
" Hello Serena I have not seen Sophia around do you know where she is? " Angel asked Intentionally.
" Well I think she is at the library you know nowadays she spends most of her time at the library and why do you even care about her? " Serena asked Curiously.
" Of course not I was just checking on her who knows maybe she's up to no good again " Angel said
While they were still discussing Sophia came back from the library she greeted them before going to rest on her bed but they just ignored her as always.
" Sophia I wonder why you are still acting innocent when we already know your true colors, stop acting you are not a saint after all you are nothing but a traitor " Angel Spatted out.
" Stop it Angel don't cause a scene " Serena Warned.
" well I think that time will tell who is a traitor and who is pretending to be Good "Sophia replied confidently.
" what do you mean by that ---- " Angel asking a little Flustered.
" it's okay Angel let's go to sleep " Serena said tiredly.
" I wonder when you will know who is who " Serena Sophia thought inwardly.

The next night while the girls were sleeping Angel woke up and sneaked to Serena's bed side and carefully pulled out the key from under the pillow she then unlocked the locker and was about taking the money when Serena Who woke up due to the slight noise caught her as she was a light sleeper.
" What were you trying to do eh? " Serena asked
" I ---- was --- em checking if your money was safe in case Sophia stole it again " Angel Stuttered.
' Paaa aah ' A Sound Echoed as
Serena slapped Angel hard on the cheek.
" How dare you try to steal my money and lie to my face Angel? " Serena asked angrily
" No no I am not lying i -- " Angel stammered she was Shivering Uncontrollably as she was aware that she had been caught and she could only come up with an excuse.
" And you think I am a fool eh? tell me the truth now or I will report you Angel " Serena Threatened her gaze was piercing.
" Please don't I'll tell you " Angel said still shivering
" speak! " Serena commanded
" Well I ...I was jealous of you and Sophia because you girls were outstanding and Bestie's that was why I stole your cereals and framed Sophia so you would separate and so I will earn your trust " Angel confessed All all of her Wrong doings as she was scared that Serena would Report her.
" Wait, so you mean Sophia was innocent all this while and you were the thief? " Serena asked Stunned.
" I --- " before Angel could respond Serena slapped her again Using a greater force than the first.
" Please forgive me Serena, please forgive me I was blinded by envy please forgive me " Angel Pleaded With Serena.
" And why should I forgive you? you did not offend me but Sophia and Angel I am very disapointed in you I didn't expect you to be an Hypocrite " Serena Said Angrily.
While they were still arguing Sophia woke up from the noise
' I wonder what's wrong this time ' she thought inwardly.
Seeing that Sophia was awake Angel ran up to her she then knelt down in front of her.
" forgive me Sophia, please forgive me I framed you please forgive me " Angel said admidst Tears.
" Framed me for what? " Sophia asked confused
" Well I.... was the one who stole Serena's cereals and putted the wrapper in your locker, please forgive me Sophia " Angel pleaded admist tears.
" What! so it was you who did it, why would you do that to me have I ever offended you in any way before? Sophia asked in shock.
" No.... no you haven't but I was envious of you and Serena's Friendship so I did that, please forgive me Sophia " Angel Pleaded.
" Well, What can I say or do as what's done is done I will forgive you Angel but on one condition " Sophia said
" What is the Condition? I Promise to do anything as long as you guys don't report me " Angel Said.
" Oh! are you sure you can do it really? " Sophia asked.
" Of course I'll " Angel replied Confidently.
" Well, all you have to do is to Rebuild my image which you tarnished both in school and in this boarding house, is not too much for you to do, or is it? "
" it's not, I promise I'll do it starting from today " Angel Declared.
" Well then..... "
" Sophia, I am deeply sorry for Wrongly Accusing you, Am very sorry for not Trusting you and only judging you by what I saw, Please forgive me Sophia, Can you find a place within that Gentle heart of yours to forgive me? " Serena Pleaded Sobbing.
After Staring at Each other for Some minutes in silence Sophia finally Spoke up.
" I can't really blame you Serena as you believed what you saw but I pained me that you couldn't even trust me " Sophia Said Shaking her Head in Disappointment.
" Please forgive Serena, Sophia it's really not her fault as I was the one that filled her head with lies " Angel Said.
" Am really sorry Sophia" Serena Apologised Admidst Tears.
" it's okay as I understand now that it wasn't your fault that you were easily brainwashed by Angel who took advantage of your soft heart so I forgive you " Sophia Declared.
" Really? " Serena asked surprised as she wasn't expecting that Sophia would forgive her so soon.
" Yeah, I forgive you Sophia " Sophia said
" Thanks Sophia, Wellb I have a request to make and I really hope that you won't decline " Serena Said.
" Well it depends on the Request though! Anyways What's it? " Sophia asked
" Will you assist me with the project? as it's quite Stressing for me alone to handle " Serena asked
" I guess I will as it's no big deal anyways " Sophia answered wiping off her tears.
" Thank you very much Sophia and I apologise again for what I did " Serena said sadly
" it's okay as it's human to make mistakes " Sophia said as she embraced Serena.

For the next few days Angel began to build back Sophia's image as she told the truth to the people who were ignorant of the truth Most students were quite surprised as they never knew that a girl who looked innocent as Angel could be so cunning and Vicious but since Sophia and Serena already forgave her they have no right to judge her either.
So as days went on the three girls became as they used to be, cheerful and helping one another.
Angel on the other hand turned a new leaf as she stopped being envious of the two Bestie's and instead faced her studies Squarely.
