Our beloved prostitute is sound asleep when suddenly she hears a loud crash followed immediately by "BREAKFAST"
She shoots up before her tiredness catches up to her. She rubs her eyes and stretches before finally getting up and getting dressed
She goes downstairs and grabs a piece of burnt toast "Poor toast…"
"Sorry about that. Betty insisted on making breakfast today" Dorothy said, coming up behind her chair
"Eh it's fine. I'll just grab something at that cafe downtown. Speaking of, I have somewhere I need to be tonight so I'm gonna go ahead and get a head start. I'll see you girls later" She grabs her coat and heads out the door and downtown
As she heads to the cafe she accidentally bumps into a tall man. She was about to apologize when she heard the man speak
"Oh now who do we have here? Could it be? My dear sister?"
She froze, not wanting to have to deal with her family yet. Especially not her brother
"Oh heyyy Theo. Long time no see. How you been?"
"I could ask you the same thing. Aren't you supposed to be in Holywood getting famous?"
She rubbed the nape of her neck nervously "I was...But I decided I would rather surprise you and mom"
"Oh really? When did you get back home? You should have called"
"I got back 2 days ago actually…"
"2 days ago? And none of us have seen or heard from you? Are you sure you aren't trying to avoid us?"
"What? Me? Oh I would never! I was just trying to find a job first"
"Mhm. Anyways mom would be overjoyed to see you at tonights dinner. You are coming right? I even invited Alistar so all of us can catch up"
"You invited Alistar? Why?" She said raising an eyebrow
"Well he's basically like family,,, And I hang out with him alot so I thought why not?"
"You hang out with him? Why? What do you two even do? He's like 7 years older than you"
He has to take a moment to think of how to tell her "We just, you know, hang out and do….stuff. Look, are you coming or not?"
"I- sure. I guess so"
Teddy shows a bright smile "Really? Yay! Okay I'll see you tonight then. It starts at 7"
She nods and quickly walks away
